Question 12.5.19.0 (RKDEUXM) Fastboot Rom - Xiaomi 11T Pro

Hello,
I'm looking for the 12.5.19.0 (RKDEUXM) Fastboot Rom, so i can Magisk Patch the Boot.img and just flash it again.
Xiaomi forced me into an Update and now my root is missing. I also can't update to Version 12.5.20.0 since it wont let me flash anything with that rom.
So all I'm looking for is the 12.5.19.0 (RKDEUXM) Fastboot Rom or just it's boot.img
- Thanks!

Root via magisk doesn't work

Hi,
I'm on MIUI Global 12.0.4.0 (QCREUXM) rom, and my bootloader is unlocked with official Xiaomi tool.
I tried to root my Redmi 9c by modifying the boot.img file with magisk, and flashing it via adb.
It resulted in bootloop. So I reset back to the original boot.img, and I'm still rootless...
Does anyone know how to root this phone ?
There is no TWRP for it right now.
Thanks for any help.
BTW, is it normal that modified boot.img is much lighter than original file ? (11Mo vs 65Mo)

I am facing the same result, probably the reason is that the device is SAR - System-As-Root, therefore patching boot.img aint giving root previliges and flashing causing bootloops.
Moreover modiying the system.img and flashing it wont give you root ethier.
You can try modfying and flashing the recovery.img while wiping your data as dsecribed in magisk site but every time you reboot, you need to apply the same combo buttons to enable the magisk root.
All we can do for now is to wait for a custom recovery that will probaly never be arrived or im wrong.
BTW: the patched img is supposed to be small as what ive researched, magisk repacker is repacking and compiling it to a smaller img.
Flash pachedboot.img then vbmeta 256 bites file
Redmi 9c not rooting via magsik patched boot img

After flashing boot.img file flash vbmeta.img file it will prevent it from bootloop just Google vbmeta.img download it and flash it through adb tools after flashing magisk modified boot.img file
To flash it in adb type flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
I have successfully rooted my redmi 9C with this method and no bootloop issue

Question Help root

Root un miui 12.5.2?
i think root is useless. miui 12.5.2 is perfect. if you want debloat simply use fastboot adbtools.jar, without root. but if you want root, you had to wait miui 12.5.2 fastboot firmware. for patch boot.img via magisk and install the boot patched image via fastboot (but first you had to unlock bootloader). so my suggesion is debloat with bootloader unllocked but without root (i suppose you already have unllocked)

root with magisk doesnt work --> bootloop ?

hello guys,
i want to root my redmi 9 with magisk. i tried to use the "patched boot.img method", but everytime i land in a bootloop.
im on miui global 12.5.3 stable, android 11. bootloader unlocked!
i took that magisk version: https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/tag/v23.0 (v23.0 - as apk)
than i was on that page: https://c.mi.com/oc/miuidownload/detail?device=1900381
on that page i took on the left "redmi 9 global" - which calls:
Code:
Stable ROM
Author: MIUI Official Team
Version: V12.5.3.0.RJCMIXM (MIUI11)
Size: 2.2G
i extracted the archive and copied magisk.apk and boot.img to my download-folder on my smartphone. patched the boot.img with magisk. than copied the patched boot.img to my pc.
after that i bootet the phone into fastboot mode. than i flashed the patched boot.img with fastboot flash boot patchedboot.img - used than fastboot reboot and than im in the bootloop.
can someone tell me, what i am doing wrong?
(ps: when i flash the unpatched boot.img i get no bootloop and my phone is starting again - but of course with no root )
thanks

If I understood correctly, as well as you don't mention about that, you didn't deactivate the AVB mechanism by flashing the stock vbmeta image with the command fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta [your vbmeta.img file], which is documented that if Magisk is installed without that procedure, the device is bootlooping (see this guide).
oh, i see. yes, i didnt use that command. but now i got it working. i read that twrp isnt really compatible with the redmi9 and i need another recovery.
i used that now: https://sourceforge.net/projects/shrp/
vbmeta from post #4: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/dont-use-twrp-on-redmi-9-use-shrp.4334123/
than i did that:
fastboot flash recovery *.img
fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta *.img
fastboot reboot recovery
from there i installed integrated magisk v23.0
phone reboot...got root.
I have read that there are issues with TWRP and Magisk (as far as I know, even its developer mentions that). Although I never got SHRP to work properly on my device and I always get bootloop issues with that. Do you know if it's because of the version I run? I currently run MIUI 11.0.2.0, which I think it's the device's original version.
uh im sorry. im also new to the shrp recovery. i had only used twrp so far.
did you try to flash this version i linked? if its not working you can fast flashback ur twrp. maybe just give it a try?

I don't think I have tried that. I think at the worst case, because I run MIUI I'll just roll back to it's original recovery image. I'm just asking because I don't see mentions of software versions.
what smartphone do you own?

Question Mi 11 ultra stuck in fastboot mode

Hello, help from you guys with the problem I'm having, already helping my friends and I didn't find anything that solved the problem.
I have a mi 11 ultra with the ROM GLOBAL V13.0.4.0.SKAMIXM
With Bootloader unlocked and magisk installed, I had magisk 25.1 which was directly crashing in recovery, then I updated the boot.img file to magisk 25.2 and flash via adb fastboot, after that my device crashed on the fastboot screen and doesn't come out of it, ja volume up and nothing else, I flashed the original boot.img file from V13.0.4.0.SKAMIXM again and it doesn't exit fastboot mode, can someone give me a light please? I didn't want to re-install the rom and lose all my files that I don't have backup
Try it more times to flash the original boot.img from the V13.0.4.0.SKAMIXM rom. If no result, than you have to try first dirty flashing the rom. If dirty flash not working, than last chance is clean flash.

Question Question about firmware and fastboot rom when downgrading

Hi, I am about to downgrade my sweet global from MIUI 14 to the latest version of MIUI 12 since I find it the most stable.
At the Xiaomi firmware updater site, I see firmware, vendor and rom.
I learnt that to downgrade, I need to use a fastboot rom. I donwloaded both the 12.5.9 fastboot rom and the corresponding 12.5.9 "firmware".
Do I need to flash firmware first before the fastboot rom? Or can I flash the fastboot rom directly?
And do I need to enable any extra options in the Mi Flash Tool before flashing?
Thank you for any information.
