Hello,
i'm an computer science student from germany (Moin an alle meine deutschen Freunde ).
I know the forum since i rooted my Galaxy S3 back in 2013 but never made an account.
I always loved to tweak my phone like i wanted, and not how the companies think we want it.
After some years with an IPhone (obviusly jailbroken) i am finally back to Android and came back to XDA to root my Pixel 5 and change some thing up.
And now that i know how to code im also looking forward to read more into Android programming an maybe release some Apps or tweaks in the future.
Greetings
Welcome to XDA. Please take a moment to review the XDA Forum Rules and Forum Etiquette, linked in my signature.
I am also a Pixel 5 user. Here is the Pixel 5 subforum.
welcome

Hi,
I registered myself yesterday, but i didn't have time to introduce myself yet.
So now i'll introduce myself, better late then never so to speak.
I'm Arjan Kuiper, 28 years old.
Currently living in Oude Pekela (The Netherlands).
I'm the proud owner of the OMNIA II (GT-i8000), and since 2 weeks the Galaxy S (GT-i9000).
The GT-i9000 is currently running Adroid 2.2 aka Froyo, it's also rooted with the SuperOneClick method.
Oh yeah....the carrier is T-Mobile.
Basically i'm just a newby what the Adroid O/S concerns, but hopefully that'll change soon enough.
I'm already checking some mods during this humble little introduction.
Best regards, Arjan.
PS. My English is a bit rusty, so my apologies.
Welcome to the Forum Hope you enjoy your stay here
Welcome, sir. The galaxy is a very sweet device. I've been enjoying vzw us variant for a month now. Have fun reading and reading some more. And then coming to off topic to ban someone and then back to reading.
good day.
Your english is more than proper! Welcome!
Welcome, enjoy your stay here @ xda .
Not sure if this is a correct place for introductions, but anyways;
Hello, my name is Aleksi. I'm from Finland, I'm 16 years old (just turned 16 today ) and i do stuff. I recently bought my first Android device, Samsung Galaxy S. Because of that, after lurking out i decided to join this community. And this place seems worth a shot really.
So, just stepping by to say hi!
Hey, Welcome to the Forums, And if you were looking for the best place to put this it is probably the second best (Look at the Sticky in Off topic ) Also... Happpy Birthday!
Yeah XDA doesn't have a dedicated introduction sub-forum for whatever reason. This is the website to be on whatever you're doing with your phone.
Btw, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Hi guys thanks for the warm welcome my name is Ryno but call me fish for short... I recently discovered unlocked Android or rather discovered all the additional features a rooted device can bring lol... I will never again go back to Icrap I mean iphone Andoid is the way of the future... I currently have a Samsung that I am battling to flash so i'm hoping that I can learn something or 2 from the pros here
Welcome aboard and wise choice in Android! There's many Samsung forum Sections... enjoy!
Hey from Germany!
Newish Android developer here I guess.
Long time reader of the forums but never got around to making an account. A few years ago I was very into rooting and custom roms and this forum was really helpful!
Over the past few years I looked into Android Develeopment every now and then but I never produced anything serious. But now I made an app that I think could be useful for some people and I want to share! It's for the new Galaxy Watch 4. Installation is a bit technical because of restrictions of the Watch UI so I figured I could make a post about it here (coming soon)
All the best and stay safe!

Hello all, I am and old returning member.
Interested in technology, I subscribed to xda in the early 2007 and participated in testing windows mobile phones.
I then switched to testing HTC and galaxy roms.
I left the forum a few years back as I got interested in automotive.
I am now back as Android tablets are now 1 part of automotives infotainment.
I Lost my password over the years and therefore have a new user name.
