No I m gonna root this phone after 3 months.but now I m stock locked bootloader
i was able to flash a rom before (dotOS) but now i cant do that bec of the same issue. any workaround?

Hi everyone,
is anyone working on a port of the MIUI v6 rom based on Android 4.4.2 for the Sony Xperia SP?
Would really love to have this great rom on my phone. Who else does?
I am currently using MIUI v5 which is definitely the smoothest rom available for this phone.
By far better than all the other rubbish which is available here.
Waiting for informations.

Then simply relock the bootloader again
By the way, I found another cool feature on the english MIUI forum. It is called "MIUI Lite" gives the user 70% of miui feeling on your phone.
Tried it yesterday on my XPERIA Z1 compact with Stock rom and must say that I am really impressed!

after installing miui v9 on my xperia sp....
even though when i plugin my headphones no sound come in it....it still continues to play on the speaker

chinese miui packs with a lot of junk that are useless for non-chinese users, not only taking up space/ram but also free to collect whatever info/data they can gather about you and no need to inform you about the usage. and it doesn't come with google service. the EEA one on the other hand follows GDPR to a degree and no chinese bloatware preinstalled, although it comes with google service instead but at least those are slightly more userful.

When you install a new complete firmware is better do wipe data because is probably your mobile will be unstable

You have chinese model, global miui 13 with it will have issues with microphone and sound stuck at highest level. If u want fully working Miui 13 ROM you’ll need to flash Indian miui 13 through fastboot.

I have flashed the global rom and it said this version not compatible or something and the bootloader is locked and now m stuck at an orange fast boot logo idk what to do now and I couldn't unlock using mi unlock Cuz it sais I have to I have to go to developers option and link my account

I flashed with miflash tool and global v13.0.3.0 sksmixm and I selected clean all and lock so I guess my bootloader is locked now

That's the error, it's checked by default of Miflash.

Normally with these tools you can bypass the lock, read the instructions.

Do some research, the most common tool seems to be Sp flash.
I can't help you with the use of these tools, I've never had a soc mediatek phone (and I never will).

You have a Chinese device where the bootloder has been unlocked to install a Global version and now you know that you can't unlock the bootloader without breaking it.
Restore the phone to its original state then you will flash the global version.
I tried going into fastboot like 50 times.. and by sheer luck it let me in
that happens when you dont read carefully the guide, so you cant go manually to fastboot mode?

How did you downgrade? Mine (poco M5s) won't.
miflash times out,
fastboot on windows the same,
fastboot on linux bricks the phone (restorable only in bootrom mode with the stock rom),
xiaomi tool on linux bricks the phone...
