Known Bugs for VZW Safestrap Version:
Signal Bars won't Show. Still get 4g but wont show Strength. Theres apps available if you must know in the the Playstore.
In Aroma Installer Avoid the Material Design Theme Choice or the Alternate Dialer Theme choice and the System Note 4 Upgrade choice in the options menu - might work but usually these choices result in a stalled boot
If ROM doesn't boot within 8 Minutes (yes it takes a long time inital boot up!) then try reinstalling with less options!

Flash your System Modules in Safestrap (NC2 Modules should be baked into the ROM so Reset once Aroma is done is fine!)
Then Reset Phone and wait initial bootup is slow

Something that I noticed with the APN, at the end has an option called "Bearer" that you have to select LTE in order to get data, maybe sounds dumb, but I was getting crazy asking myself why I didn't have data :laugh:

Pretty impressive port/rom , i did notice that some selected stuff from aroma does really select though, like when i click the 0% transparent mod, it still installs it, or some apps I unchecked so it doesnt install, but it still installs, but no big deal, i can easily delete those , i was also having MMS issues, not sure if its because im on the L720T, im currently working on a T version tho so amma report back if i get things working on this side

Did anyone try to edit the build.prop with the correct phone name/model to try to fix the visual voice mail. This is what I had to do on other ports I've tried to make it work.
I dirty flashed this on top of stock OA3. Boot loop after first reboot. Fixed by a factory reset in TWRP. Up and running now. I'm glad Spark wheel is still here.
Antutu score （tested 3 times）: 30577/30188/29992. The score seems lower than stock.
I think the exchange / email app might have some issues with it. I posted the problem in the Q&As thread but I wanted to make sure Sacs knew of this bug and if others had the same problem. After having it request "The server outlook.office365.com must be able to remotely control some security features on your device. Continue?", and I click Ok, I get "Unfortunately email has stopped". So for now I am just using the Outlook app for my work email, but sadly it doesn't sync the calendar and contacts to the native android apps, but other than that the ROM is working great, so far battery life is just as good as Sac's other ROMs.

Edit-reporting back after doing a rebuild on the L720T, so far edited the build.prop to match the T, edited the framework.res.apk/eri.xml to match our stock, got MMS working, I also switched to our stock kernel, just for stability reasons, I love KT but im very cautious with the T version, so far I got a pretty stable build with network fully funtioning, can update PRL/Profile, so consider me a happy camper , thanks again to the original dev, sacs & who ever contributed
Only thing is that I still cant fogure out how to turn off the transparent mod, I think its causing some checkboxes via settings to be missing, so theirs alot of blind settings to miss & hit with

Hello,
This is a module to install Google Sans font (aka Product Sans) systemlessly through Magisk.
You say: "Yet another Google Sans module"
Well sure, except that I made an important correction in the font design, read below...
So I wanted to install Google Sans font on my device.
You might know that is is not free to use...
All copies I could find on XDA and other places had the same issue.
The issue is that when you place a digit before a linebreak, if you click at the end of the line, the cursor is shown in the middle of the digit (see attached). I don't know if this glitch is only present on OnePlus 3T, but it drove me crazy...
Then I spent hours trying to find different copies of that font....
All copies had the same glitch on my device...
So I tried looking for the issue in the font files themselves... and I finally found that the linebreak character (unicode U+0A) had a width defined at 0... whereas in any other font, it has a non-0 value (value depends on the font).

How to properly install
First of all:
- Install module in Magisk
- Reboot
- On some phones (eg OnePlus), there is the possibility to choose a system-wide font from a selection. In this case, you need to make sure you select "default font" or "Roboto".
How to check if the module works
1. Open Gboard keyboard and look for capitalized letters Q and O. If they look like perfect circles, the module is probably applied correctly.
2. Still in Gboard keyboard, look for figures 6 and 9. If they look like a small perfect circle with added straight line, the module is probably applied correctly.
If checks 1 and 2 failed, double check you did properly install the module.
If you cannot apply the module, then send me:
* a screenshot of Gboard "CAPS" and "figures" screens
* a zip file with the content of your /system/fonts folder
If there is a font that I didn't take into account, I might be able to identify it and patch my module.
If the module seems to be applied correctly, then go further:
3. Look elsewhere in your system. If somewhere Q, O, 6 and 9 don't look like in Gboard, it means a specific font is used in that specific screen/app.
If you think a specific font is used somewhere, then send me:
* a screenshot of the place you where you found a specific font is used
* a zip file with the content of your /system/fonts folder
If there is a font that I didn't take into account, I might be able to identify it and patch my module.

Maybe you can make a customized "Condensed" font style? IMO it will look better on some areas like the QS panel and the app drawer.
Also, is DroidSansFallback still needed? It's not mentioned on my ROM's fonts.xml, and I removed it from your module and it still works.

Update: I just customized the module and removed the condensed font files. I think I prefer this. (But I guess more people who installed this module would prefer Google Sans everywhere)

You're right, DroidSansFallback is probably not needed, but I included it just in case...
And, this is true: I couldn't find any condensed version of Google Sans / Product Sans so I just re-used the regular one.
The thing is: I am not a font designer, so I cannot design it. In FontForge, I could apply a 90% factor in the x-values, but then letter width would not be uniform depending if the line is horizontal, oblique or vertical...
If anyone can find and give me the condensed version of this font t(+variants italic, bold, bolditalic...) , I would be more than happy to rework it and include it in my module.

I guess a good solution is to create another module that still uses the Roboto Condensed fonts (not replacing these fonts)? I already did it myself though, thanks.

how did you merge , when i was merging from one font family to othere i was getting offset mismatch and suitable invalids errors

I used FontForge. At first, the merge process ended up with a mess, with Roboto glyphes being GIANTS compared to GoogleSans'...
On a FontForge, forum I learned that the main parameter to adapt is in "Element/Font info/General/EM".
In order to have a nice merge, this parameter has to have the same value in both fonts.
GoogleSans had 1000, Roboto had 2048.
I changed Roboto's to 1000 (at this point FontForge scales all glyphes), generated the modified version.
Then opened GoogleSans, "Element/Merge fonts" then selected the modified Roboto and FontForge integretad all glyphes of Roboto that were not defined in GoogleSans... No error whatsoever, glyphes with same "overall" size.
Of course its not perfect, because of fonts styles being different...
For example upscript figures of Roboto don't fall exactly in the same place than the one of GoogleSans (only ^4 was defined in GoogleSans)... but anyway it's better than what I had before: some weird characters were missing in GoogleSans and - some of my apps using these weird characters - they were displayed as "squares"...

if you are rescaling the roboto then i think some characters might be oddly looking because they are resized now
also you can just deodex the apk and see what all character it uses in resources and just copy those gylphs , but yes it will take time
boxes are bascially " .notdef" so missing glyphs are shows as that box or (5 horizontal lines parallel together )

Thanks for this very complete font module! I noticed the cursor issue too and some missing glyphs but now it's fixed and works perfectly. I'd recommend this module to anybody who asks about it!

I have read the OP，I have known this module fixed a problem. When I extract this module, I found the fonts named Roboto, not GoogleSans, and compared with them, find their versions are different. GoogleSans is newer than Roboto, I want to know whether Roboto is the GoogleSans in Android P.

here you have a summary of all available theming options to theme your OneUI 3.1 on Android 11.
Please note that this post features some paid apps! I do not intend to advertise these, it is just the lack of good free options at the moment. I did not put links here intentionally.
The following options allow for good theming support of your OneUI 3:
Hex Installer - Themes for OneUI (Early Access)
Most convenient option, very user friendly
Highly customizable (not only colors but also UI elements / tweaks)
Supports different "UI Mode" plugins, like the "AOSP R" plugin that allows for AOSP-like theming
Icon Theming for the OneUI launcher supported, as well as custom fonts
Pretty much all OS apps supported, also lots of third-party apps
Works by compiling and applying themes for the Samsung Themes engine
Can be used in combination with Substratum, more below
Some features are paid (the prices are fair)
Substratum / Substratum Light with Android R supporting themes
I could only make out 5 themes that support Android 11 / OneUI 3.1 at the time I am writing this:

Liv Dark (that's what I'm using)
Liv White
Aurora
These themes support a good range of apps and provide many customization options
Works great in combination with Hex Installer, more below

This app is quite known but totally underestimated in terms of its quality and feature set
Good Lock is a free customization toolbox by Samsung for OneUI, consisting of multiple apps/modules that can be separately installed from the Samsung Store
The modules allow for many different customizations in terms of lockscreen, homescreen, navbar, statusbar, clock face, and lots of more (visual aspects, UI tweaks, additional OS tuning and features)
Really recommend to get it and take a look at all modules and features. You'll like it!
Want to use Option 1 & 2 together? Let me share some tips on that specific matter:
First go to substratum and open your desired theme (see above). Do not yet compile any overlays. Just go to the overlay "Android System" and look up the color options it has. Choose an accent and a background color and note their color codes. Again: Do not yet compile the overlays. In case you decided to use Liv White / Liv Dark, I recommend choosing a solid color as accent (not gradient).
Now open your Hex Installer app and adjust the color scheme, taking into consideration which colors you chose to use for the Substratum theme (eg: Use the same accents / background colors)
Compile and fully install your Hex theme
Open Substratum again and compile all wanted overlays. You can compile overlays for apps that are already themed by Hex Installer. Remember to use the colors that you chose earlier.
Reboot and profit from a fully themed system!
Other tips:
For edge lighting experiences, I really recommend "Borderlight" if you only want edge lighting on home/lockscreen.
If you are looking for a system wide edge lighting experience, I recommend the app "Always On Edge". Heavier on your battery but provides extensive options.
Please note that not all third-party overlays are working perfectly.
If you want to use the same theme as shown in the attached screenshots, I have also attached my Hex profile and Substratum profile for you to use.

You're welcome. I do not know of any proper TG groups for the S21 or at least I am not a member in any. For custom roms to appear you will need to wait for quite some more time I think. In terms of themes, I don't know any other than the 5 in my OP. Have a great day!

Is Synergy working as before with no root?
EDIT: never mind, have to do ADB after each restart
Synergy soft bricked my phone. The settings app, and samsung theme app would crash and force the phone to reboot in Safemode SystemUI. I tried fixing the apps via recovery mode, nothing. Just a warning.

And Hex Installer? It costs money but never tried it.
I use Nova Launcher. Far from perfect IMHO, but a lot better than stock Android. I like most icons in less space, I'm also an extreme Dark themes fanatic, I would prefer extreme high contrast with black and green where possible. I hate dark gray color, honestly.

Can I have an extreme AMOLED-theme experience? Minimalism, black as much as possible, use green for letters and other GUI stuff as much as possible too with coherent exceptions.
Kinda like a very modern reincarnation of a UNIX green phosphorus terminal.
A bit similar to 2008 Gmail Terminal theme when used in a desktop web browser, but A LOT better and hires.
Maybe I'm weird, but this gives me a lot less eye fatigue and able to use devices in a lot more comfortable way.

I think that I did something wrong because chosen theme is active only for 10 minutes. What I did:
1. Downloaded Shizuku, did everything is it is on the provided Hex Installer screens;
2. Downloaded Hex theme from PlayStore, applied: first applied the default theme, than opened Hexed+ theme and clicked on "Try it out". Notification pops out with info that theme is applied succesfully;
3. Opened Hex app, clicked on this robot pill:
- Hex ADB setup is ticked green;
- Hexed+ theme applied is ticked green;
- Custom theme state is ticked red. How to make it green?;
- Hex theme Mode is active;
- Add My Themes Shortcut is active, but nothing happens when I try to open #MyThemes app
Phone: Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G without root.
Any ideas how to solve this and have a theme for more than 10 minutes?

I believe ur supposed to select the high contrast theme in order to make it stick. I had to do it about 5 times to make it ACTUALLY stick. but I've since updated my phone and kept the theme, and can also remove it. It by no means works everytime, but I have had by far the highest success rate with hex.

Hello Hassan,
Can you help me with this issue? My Google Voice having issues with making calls ?
Whenever I pick Voice to be my default call redirection app, it never completes or make the calls via Google Voice. But normal calls work, just not redirecting via Google Voice like it used to.
Was anything in particular done to this dialer? This is the best I could find. But I cannot find that setting in MIUI. Please help.

well nothing much done with dialer, thought there are changes in it, you can set your app permissions correctly may be ?? or default app

I did set all the permissions and it keeps doing the same thing, If I uninstall Google Voice, it goes back to normal. But the moment, I reinstall and set it as the default call redirection app, I get the issue. I wish Xiaomi would leave some of these Android settings in tact and not mess with it so I could find where to set the Voice as default. Do you know where I can find the setting for it? Default Apps settings for call redirection?

can you explain how you flashed it ?? i mean what recovery you used?? did clean or dirty flash and on which rom if dirty, and what else you flashed after rom. some users having issues so i wanna clear them with some successful applied methods,

The Elite ROM has these advanced features,,, (Plus Features are not included/Locked)

- Base updated to latest rom release
- MultiLanguage rom for all apps
- removed super resolution for videos, i think this was causing extra drain
- NFC icon fixed, will show on main screen if you turn it on
- Launcher fixed for long pressing recents apps, it still stuck at some places but fixed for most of time, will tune it more next
- Macros improved more
- Package installer tuned more
- All partitions are made r/w now, on all supported devices
- Sim lock security menu unlocked in Settings>Security options
- New encryption enabler zips, works fine as tested, rom is decrypted by default though
- Apps installation more eased, you can install any signed/unsigned app now

Installation Instructions:
- Install rom zip using TWRP/OFOX
- If you have a/b device, then flash recovery into ramdisk using its advanced menu
- Format if you are encrypted, otherwise wipe data is enough

- Patched Magisk available in group EliteDevelopmentforPOCOF3 it will remove encryption & dm-verify by default.

Hi this ROM seems good but i prefer to stay on battery optimizations, is the battery good? if yes how long does it last? also are there are battery optimizations and tweaks? maybe i can download it.
do u also update the ROM every week or every month? if yes for how long are u about to update. i ask this because most people that created their own ROM they only support phones for a short amount of time, like they dont update it so frequently

Nope, just a link error (poco f3), just click on parent folder then stable/Miui13.

yes updates will be regular, you can see our records for supported devices, will support it until it get miui updates officially

Not exactly...for example you can flash a module for different launchers. Consequence, you have to root :/

i meant gestures were restricted to only stock launcher from google side from A11, you can use any launcher from play store too but gestures will work with stock only
is the android auto wirless disconect on mobile data lose fixed by any chance?
