65.67 Mb update - is it really needed?

Is this update the phone keeps bugging me about since I turned it on last night really needed?
IMHO the phone works fine on its original 4.4.4

If you do a search for the benefits you can make the choice of what you wanna do. It different for everyone

My averages around 2 days with some standard usage and around 6 hours of screen time

The battery life is awesome. Mine lasts 2-3 days and I have maximum 7:45 screen time.

Dude what was your update size? I'm seeing an 836.6mb update which I didn't authorize! This is BS. Its eaten into my data plan ! Im really pissed ! Like dafuq!? At least lemme know!

Nope! im unable to capture it , ive been trying with "adb logcat" but so far nothing. All this just goes to add to my annoyance !!

Still have the battery phone idle bug, i'm on 65% battery and phone idle have consumed 2450 mAh out of the 2200 mAh battery

Phone is always awake, no matter what rom I use, help!

So I've been having this problem where my phone is always awake and android os will drain my battery for a few days now.
At first I thought it was a rom problem, but I tried lineage os 13, DU, stock and it's the same problem all the time.
So, do anyone have any idea what it could be? I know my battery is bad, turning the phone off when it's 30% or less, but I don't know if a bad battery can cause the os to be always awake.
