No Sorry. When i have modded my old mia3 I Remember that many aosp A11 Roms have audio problems. Probably vendor Is not fully compatibile. Try pixel experience. I think Is the best custom rom at now. Or lineage 18.1

I don't think so. I tested all A11 GSI and ALL OF THEM has brightness 0% after unlocking. Only CAOS works without that bug, but it still has brightness slider issue. My main concern now is the problem of min max brightness
With "Alternative backlight scale" and "Linear screen brightness slider" it has much lower brightness, but min brightness is still too bright for nigh use.
Without "Alternative backlight scale" it has higher max brightness, but min brightness is still very bright for nigh use.

The apk is annoying to be honest, it does fix it, but puts it to a specific brightness everytime you turn off your phone, which means if you got full brightness it sets to a lower brigthness everytime you turn on your phone and you need to re-set it again and again.
Root your device, then flash this via Magisk, it works perfectly fine

Yes I agree, the apk prevent your phone from getting a black screen -which is a big progress!- but otherwise is not very practical. So I'd like to patch the zip file you kindly suggest but my magisk (V25.2)does not agree to treat zip files, it says only .img or .tar files. What do I do wrong?

Are you trying to patch your MIUI boot.img?
You need to extract the boot.img from the folder "images" inside your MIUI ROM folder, but firstly is to extract the ROM into a folder.
What MIUI version you used before you flashed the GSI so I can send it?

Oh! Thanks thanks ! I think I don't need to bother you with my beginner's stuff. Because I might not have explained correctly what I aimed to do, I'm trying to patch the "camellia brightness fix V2.zip" with magisk.

Ah wait, I might have got it.
Are you trying by any chances updating or installing Magisk on the home screen? It's on "Modules" at the bottom! Then click "Install from storage" and you are good to go with flashing any .zip module.

you're right in the middle! Baoum 100 points! This is exactly what I was doing, and by the more magisk doesn't help me as my module's option is stuck in grey I can't do nothing with it. When I install a newer version it's worth : magisk doesn't launch at all.
Maybe this explain why patching boot.img didn't work well as I didn't use the module button as well...

I "created" a base rom, MiuiMix, a sort of global, but lighter, that remove boot restrictions (boot is patched) to can use as rom non gsi or as base for gsi.
I tested some GSI n continue to test for more GSI and work on non GSI roms...here r few steps n what u need:
-Flash the twrp
-In Wipe menu choose format data (the one with "yes")
-Flash MiuiMix rom
-Wipe cache/dalvik (if u want stay on MiuiMix just reboot to system)
-Flash img file of Lineage OS img
-(Magisk is optional)
-Reboot to system
Enjoy!!!

Do you mind compressing the Miuimix file a little? Maybe use .xz format or something because downloading a 2GB zip archivs is not really that easy for me at the moment (plus it'll be more effecient overall in the future) also releasing your base rom on github would be amazing and would enable other developers to help. Love the work you've done so far.

tried this gsi today, it didnt show the nav bar at all and searching the option in the settings told me to go to the buttons section, but when pressed no option is there to choose onscreen nav buttons (i think it thinks i have on screen keys) also the rounded screen corners cut off some text and over all it unusable. I am gonna flash one more time but idk whats wrong tbh.

Me too. But for now, the solution is:
1. Go to play store, install "Fluid Navigation Bar"
2. Open the app, enable every permission it requires
3. Use it for easy navigation
4. Install these Magisk Module: "Riru - Core" and "Riru - Edxposed"
5. Before restart, install Edxposed Installer (you can find it from google)
6. Open Edxposed Installer, install "GravityBox [P]", then activate its module
7. Open GravityBox app, go to Navigation Bar, select Master Switch
8. Restart your phone (everytime you install module from Magisk and Edxposed, it require you to restart your phone, but you can restart after you do all steps above to use less time)
9. Open GravityBox app, go to Navigation Bar, and you can configure everything you want about Navbar
10. You can uninstall Fluid Navigation Bar now

So far this ROM is AWESOME. Such an improvement in smoothness over stock. I was having so many visual glitches with the stock one.
Only 2 issues I have so far, are 1. Can't add another google account to device, opens up google account page to add and then crashes (could be with the nikgapps though). I also didn't get prompted to restore from google account on device start (though i'm assuming this is by design?). And then 2. Biometric is a bit slower than stock. Otherwise it's perfect. Thanks again.

Sorry, my mistake. It's called 'OpenGapps Test', which can be found here. https://sourceforge.net/projects/opengapps/files/arm64/test/. I have also added the link into the original post. While NikGapps might work, there may be a few bugs.
@EonOfBlack I installed your suggested package after I had issues with a specific app crashing. Are there any tips on ways I can debug it? I extracted the logs and see it gets a SIGSEGV, but I'm not that familiar with the Android logs so I don't know what to look for exactly.
Or would this actually be more of a problem with OpenGapps being beta? I had the same problem with NikGapps btw.
Other apps work just fine and overall it seems like a super nice ROM. Thank you!

Sorry for the late reply. While I have not had this issue myself, another user has and I have been informed about it. I don't think it would be the Gapps package causing the issue. When you say that you 'extracted the logs' where did you find these? The provided 'MatLog' app is an easy way of capturing a logcat. The next time it happens, can you please send me a logcat using this app?

I have only one Problem on all A12 AOSP roms. I dont know it came from the rom or from my MI11, but on miui i dont have the problem. I Always run Dark mode and i have the problem that it looks like the screen changing brightness or color level randomly, black color elements randomly changing color to dark gray and black again. I have this bug often at the Settings background and on all google apps and on Opera GX to. Sorry my english is not the best, i hope its understandeble. I can try tomorrow to make a video, but it looks like the greyscale from the background changes randomly for 1-3 seconds and i have the problem on real amoled black to, its for 1-2 seconds randomly gray.

Easy, it's because changing refresh rate 60/120hz, create flikering.
We have talk in TG, so for people read here :
- Dev settings > Always force peak refresh rate
or
Using a smart and friendly app called "SmartHertz" for choose refresh rate like you want by app / UI
It's a XDA Dev friend, thanks to Miguel alias @Naprzod

Why?
you didnt specify "boot" partition..
need to write:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
looks like the instructions are wrong in the OP
how's the camera and battery life?
Well done and keep it up!

Safety net dosen't pass by default, tho you can use MagiskHide Prop and Universal Safetynet Fix to get through it. I didn't test Google Pay tho, my bank isn't supported yet

MagiskHide Prop is useless from A12. Don't use on A12.
Only Safety Net Fix by kdrag0n and Zygisk activated
Very stable and fluid. Only gpay, fingerprint and face unlock at Moment dont work

Android 13 Pixel Experience Plus has been released! If you wanna try it out instead of this 12.1 build check the latest post from Ponces GitHub page. It works great but it does not have UDFPS/FOD support as of now ( 21/12/2022 ). Download the .xz archive from there, unpack and flash it instead of the one linked in the original thread.

Hello! Did Verizon worked in stock? Did you tried switching SIM slots? I heard this is a common problem in AOSP so it may never work.

Hello! I didn't understand your problem with AOD, if you refer that you cannot activate it, go to Settings >> PHH Setting > Samsung or Misc settings ( i cant remember ) scroll down then think AOD _ _ _ , then restart device and it should work, same to disable it or you can use the quick settings to deactivate it. The bugs of AOD is that you cannot use FOD in AOD screen and it isn't touch responsive. Related to camera app, no you cannot use stock camera on any AOSP regardless.
just flashed this rom, so far so good, everything worked out the box so far. ill repost if i find any bugs.

Everything working for me except i cant get the phone to show up on my pc when i plug it into usb, it's set to file transfer mode and works fine in twrp.
Tested and Verizon does not work on this GSI.
The latest version of android 13 has problems with sound
I'm I missing something: how do I possibly get rounded corners on apps when opening and switching? I've tried so many GSIs, and so far only lawnchair 12.1 has that feature as far as I know.
anyone manage to get file transfers working? i still have to boot into twrp to transfer files to and from my phone as the rom doesn't seem to work right when connected to my pc, i get the ding that it's detected but that's it
Hello, i'm a newbie to android modding and custom roms but i want to flash this as i hate OneUI but i have two major concerns
Will i be able to use Google or Samsung Wallet and banking apps (i know that installing custom roms break the know waranty bit?
If i somehow mess up the TWRP or the custom ROM install will i be able to unbrick it?
