Try setting VPN to France, and then try to update.
I tried vpn from vpnbook with openvpn connect app to france server but that doesn't help

I have dont have tunnelbear subscription so i cant buy i have pure vpn subscription and also tried on that but no luck looks like this due toh this i but it from vodafone so may be they are delaying thi there is also VF included in current firmware name
I still stayed on cph2173_11_a24 firmware version, it never detects any new version for the upgrade.
Is there any other ways that I can download the firmware and upgrade to Android 12 please.

You need to use TunnelBear Vpn. Make a free account, set to Germany and after avaiable update confirmation dezactivate TunnelBear Vpn and make the update.

I have used tunnelbear yesterday for a software update and it worked. I recomand to all that who want to make softare upgrade but be sure that you dezactivate vpn after avaiable update confirmation becaze they offer only 0,5 gb. The phone it will update without vpn activated.

I have used tunnelbear with a free account of 500 mb i have set it to germany. I have received two updates c41 and after c60 but be sure that after u receive the avaiable update confirmation to dezactivate vpn becase they offer only 500 mb traffic. Cheers

I simply installed TunnelBear, i set it to Germany and after that i search'd for a new avaiable software in software update menu.

hello, few days ago there was update from germany via hicare app, now I have changed region to german and it working very well. Update steps:
1 upgrade hicare application to newest version.
Run APP - >>Accept terms. ->> choose europe (if there is no update still choose germany) -->> OS upgrade early adopters

That was how they provided MM for everyone and it is not new information. However b550/b551/b560 are MM builds.

However, I changed already to many languages in the HiCare app and even downloaded the HiCare update from the market to do this "OS Upgrade". The EMUI updater instead still says: "No updates". I'm on B194 with a Swiss SIM. Maybe having the right right IMEI is important? Someone has a clue? I want to update the official way, not via a forced method.

Nothing has come out for my build version of p8lite. I've waited and waited for an official update and even now with a new update feature through hicare I can't upgrade. I really want android 6. Don't what to do!!!

Apparently huawei said they can upgrade your phone if you call them as you have the correct build for upgrade. Huawei said this when I rang them. Ring them and ask them to push upgrade from their side through hicare.
I tried with ale-l21c432b188 and didnt work :/

It was like an example, u can choose any region where MM is live. Because new updates are instantly uploaded to hicare..

Yes, the problem is that my version is b188 :/
I have the v170 and it works perfectly. Im now with v564, Android Marshmallow.
However, Im curious to check how long the battery lasts with this version.

I am, have tried many updates to get onto the later b360 and b361 but cant get any to work ..... sad times

Updates roll out in pieces. Only certain parts of the world will get them first, then the next, and so on.
We only just got the official update here in the UK, other parts of Europe have had it for a couple of weeks.
It will eventually be available to you sometime!

In the same boat, havent taken part in Beta program and I am stuck on 182 still.
Btw , 182 was a forced updated by downloading it from the Warehouse firmware thread here , i was stuck on B166 otherwise.
My phone is not even tied to any carier. Arrgh!!!

Seems to be only minor visible changes. No new options I can see.
One thing that did change was that I can use EE's WiFi calling, which wasn't available before on the beta. This was activated automatically by EE via a text.
Camera, WiFi, network all seem same.
Will have to wait maybe a couple of days to see how the battery life is.

It just doesn't work, I downloaded the B182 ROM last night and installed it, no problems.
On Firmware Finder there are a couple of ROMS viz. B360, B361 and another B361, I've tried to download all 3 and flash them (using dload method) and have had NO success whatsoever with any of them.
I am now reverting to checking the update page in settings every hour or so!
BTW I've tried the dialler method too and that doesn't work neither
What's the huawei updater way?
Why is this phone such a piece of crap, differing version per region for what is the same software.

You can also update your device
Just eject your sim card and connect to any vpn service with Australia or New Zealand as server location
And then hit system updates
If you are lucky then you might get it soon or instantly

They suddenly got the updates

There are so many, go with any one
All will ask you to go with premium option but there is 7 day trial also in many vpn
So go with that

Right now its official only, but in Australia and New Zealand only
Tried the VPN method. Used many different VPNs with the sim card pulled out. Didn't work.

Clear hicare data then select Hong Kong as your region, click update and it should pop up. Hope that helps.

That's not going to work, hicare doesn't "force" an update, the guy is going to get the update for his region based on his IMEI just like everyone else.

I got that update give ff erecovery a shot but update will disappoint you in some ways there are some bugs

Changing your "region" in hicare has absolutely nothing to do with getting updates faster, HiCare uses the same servers and databases as settings does when checking for updates, a C576 variant (USA) is going to get updates based on the IMEI regardless of what region HiCare is set to, it's the same with other variants of devices. What happened in your specific case was just dumb luck, no more than that

Relax bro, I never said doing this would make the update come faster. I just told him to try what I did. If it worked, it worked. If not, then not. Maybe the " dumb luck" I had might have work for him. I've read in other threads where others did the exact same thing and it worked for them!! (That's how I knew to try that method)
It didn't work first when I was offered to install the french specific version of hicare.
Second attempt, I refused the french specific version, I also refused the app to access GPS and then... it worked!
Now downloading EMUI 10 on my P30.

Hi people, I am not advanced as many of you here, need advice how to activate Beta from non supported countries like mine, Serbia.
I tried vpn to Germany, UK, USA, after removing SIM and deleting data from galaxy apps, google store and reinstalling samsung members, but to no avail, everything works except the Beta part, since it actually requires SIM card from supported region.
My next step is to put in German prepaid sim and try steps again to see if registration is possible, do u guys have any better advice? Cheers

Thank you man, but not worth the risk of messing with csc. Cant believe its so stupid and complicated, what do I have to do, buy pixel 6 or iphone to get updates or beta software asap, or order future phones from germany. nc.......

I have an s20 ultra here, i already changed my CSC before from EGY to DBT, do you think adding an e-sim could work for the upcoming A12 beta or does it have to be a physical SIM?
How easy is it to get an e-sim when you are in a completely different country?

Use international sim card instead and change the country in your sim settings...

Well Germany is 30km away from me, so I will drive there and opt me in. I did this for the Samsung Health Monitor app and it worked.

YES I GUVE UP TOO IT JUST DOESENT WORK!!!!!
Just install the firmware with adb. You won't get updates and will have to install updates via adb every time, but it's better than giving yourself a headache trying to figure out how to gain access to the beta. You might also be kicked out even if you figure it out if your vpn is turned off.

It is EXTREMELY easy bud. If you do it right, you literally just have to copy a file to a folder, then open an app, type or copy a command, select an option on your phone and select another command. 5 steps. Follow a YouTube guide.
