Stuck in android 12 - Samsung Galaxy A30 Questions & Answers

well, this is the problem, some time ago I started to flash different android 12 custom roms, but I decided to downgrade to android 11 due to certain bugs and problems, the thing is that now every time I try to flash any android 11 custom from orangefox , it doesn't start, it stays at the logo or it sends me to download mode, but if I install another version of android 12, it starts without any problem, any ideas?

I think you need flash eureka vendor if it not included. Do you wipe product? If wipe flash stock product.

Do not flash GSI Rom But if you must, it's your decision.
Generally with GSI roms you only flash the system part. Everything else such as boot, vendor and drivers will be from a rom made for the mi8, such as an AOSP rom or a custom miui rom such as Xiaomi.EU. below are basic instruction after you already have a rom installed, have removed all passwords, and have chosen factory reset in recovery.
Follow these steps at your own risk, and be sure to make a backup first and copy it to your desktop
These are basic generalized Instructions after Formatting storage then installing a rom specifically made for the mi8. I strongly suggest that you do not Flash the new beta build, and that you instead wait for someone to build it specifically for the mi8.
The Mi8 can only use type A GSI's roms
1. Reboot Recovery
2. Perform factory reset, passwords must be removed or you will have a bootloop
3. Install GSI to system
4. Reboot to recovery, then reboot to OS > Setup > Enjoy testing it or enjoy your brick?
Once again, I would strongly suggest that you wait and not flash the new Android 11 rom. Also there is a very good chance that it will not boot to system, its early and beta builds are always super buggy at first. usually new builds are ready for non-Google devices by August.

Actually no need i removed it.
So wiping vendor is in advanced wipe area in twrp. Dont reboot after it.
Then flash the image like i said.
Then flash the dm verity thing then flash the rom.zip

@Haridhayal i did installed it to my phone. version 5.2 actually. but its lagging, its overheating than stock rom while gaming. And mainly it crashes whenever i try to add security lock neither of the security option works . and i played call of duty mobile for some time and it quit automatically after some like 10 to 15 min. also the camera UI is terrible altho it captured well. and my phone did support fast charging on stock rom which now doesnot supported by project sakura. it takes almost 4-5 hours to get fully charged. what the hell happened with that?

So it worked? It booted?
Yes, some features arent supported for some custom ROMs. Keep in mind custom ROMS won't perform like stock. Stock ROMS are made by people with the correct tools and 100% knowledge about the specific phone you are using sooooo....

flashing custom rom ( pixel experience plus edition) Keep Booting Into TWRP Recovery

I was using pixel experience ROM for some time and I tried to update to the latest plus edition. The installation guide recommended full format data and flashing. I did as instructed. Now I'm stuck in booting into TWRP recovery. I looked up a few kinds of stuff and none of them worked. Is anyone else facing the same problem? has anyone got a working fix? I tried removing the TWRP folder, re-flashing TWRP with TWRP and orange fox recover, and then flashing ROM. non helped. got a broken phone now any help is appreciated.

AOSP roms can be under ANDROID 11 or 12 or 13.
PixelExperience
Android OS version: 11.0.0_r40
The first version is in A11 and since August in A12
Version: 12
File name: PixelExperience_raphael-12.1-20220820-1826-OFFICIAL.zip
I had A12 then. I flashed pixel experience 12.1 on May 28(PixelExperience_Plus_raphael-12.1-20220528-1605-OFFICIAL.zip) and it went thru just fine. Now the updates of 8/20 bricked the phone.
After format data, I get the Readonly info screen, I swipe to allow modification, side loads the latest download PixelExperience_Plus_raphael-12.1-20220820-1448-OFFICIAL.zip, and restart, but back to TWRP recovery.
Some things I tried
0. https://wiki.pixelexperience.org/devices/raphael/install/
1. https://www.getdroidtips.com/keep-booting-twrp-recovery/
2. https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/pixelexperience-stuck-in-bootloop.4435533/ ( it's shown for beryllium but I did for Raphael code with all files related to Raphael version such has recovery and pixel exp. img file
Any other flow I can try to get it fixed ?
I'm thinking to reverting back to MIUI is nth works.

Wipe everything, system, vendor, internal storage, dalvik, cache via advanced wipe, then flash firmware and vendor or if your rom has included firmware then just flash the rom directly. Try to boot into OS if it still bring back to twrp then again repeat the above steps and this time flash stock vendor and firmware from mi website and try to boot into OS.

yes using the team win version of TWRP. Used Orange Fox recovery. ( nice look and feel and features btw). But they didn't work either. What could I try more? Could I be able to revert back to MIUI stock ROM ? let me know if you have good resources. Thank you very much for your time and efforts

Back to MIUI

flashed stock miui rom for now. Will tap into pixel rom in few days.
now that I think, I think I did a blunder, thinking I was in A12. Can you point me to A12 firmware for Redmi k 20 pro? I"m looking into https://miuirom.org/phones/xiaomi-12, but they seem to be recovery and not firmware. I'm not sure if recovery comes with firmware. As I need to format to install, will the firmware stay or not?

Why bothering to manually search here and there for official ROMs
Install the app:
MIUI Downloader - Apps on Google Play
MIUI upgrade app for Mi users.
play.google.com
and the app will show you links to download the latest Global, EEA, etc, zip/recovery or tgz/fastboot, or you can scroll through the older versions and pick an older if you wish
Btw, latest are MIUI 12.5, A11 - there are no official A12 ROMs for Mi 9/Redmi K20 line of models
Even if they receive MIUI 13, it will be (for some already released, but eg China only, etc) it will be A11
Same issue, I guess this is it for me. Time to buy a new phone rather than accidentally losing data from time to time with custom ROMs. I wonder if they didn't know such issue exists before releasing it to the public.

Samsung A605FN Booting in Odin Mode After flashing GSI

Hello, ive been trying to download a GSI for like 3 days but it seems impossible because it keeps booting me into Odin Mode everytime. Heres the steps i did:
1. Go into Odin Mode
2. Flash TWRP
3. Format Data
4. Wipe Dalvik ,Cache, Data,System
5. Flash the Android 13 (i also tried with the LineageOS one too)
6. reboot to recovery
7. Flash Magisk
I have tried not flashing Magisk but it just puts me in infinite boot
Use older Android versions, for Android 13 you need probably fixed/updated vendor. Follow this guide.

Hello, i have followed the guide and used the LineageOS new rom from the list of ROMs that was in the thread and everytime Android restarts the phone reboots, any solution?

I have a problem when flashing miui 13 rom

Hello guys
I have a problem that I don't know what it is
When i flash the miui13 rom the phone does not boot the boot loop works and then it enters the recovery mode
And so on
But when i flash miui 12.5 rom
The phone worked normally
Gukm what is the solution
the simplest is to install miui 12.5 (since you said you have no problem) and then upgrade it through the operating system. Otherwise you can use mi flash which works perfectly
Hello, my friend, thank you for your interaction with me, but I have tried to do that over and over again by making a flash on the XiaoMiFlash program
And also upgrade from within the system
The same problem comes as if the device does not accept Android 12 from miui 13
When I flash a modified ROM running on miui 13 it works normally
if you tried it with this way
and it didn't work then I don't know what could be wrong and probably something weird is going on
Same problem but my redmi 9 is not accepting any custom rom. How do you flash modified rom running on miui 13? Please help...
