lightest rom for redmi 4a - Xiaomi Redmi 4a Questions & Answers

Hello,
I have a redmi 4a, with the original xiaomi rom, but I want to flash the lightest custom rom, the simplest one, because my phone is slow as hell with the original rom... I don't want any customization, just the simplest custom rom, to have the maximum ram available.
What do you recommend ?
Thanks in advance.

You can go with Pixel Plus UI. You can also install Android 12 or Android 11, That is your decision.

Hello, after trying several custom rom I do not finish being happy with any, basically I do not see them stable. There is always some failure to polish.
Why do you think Pixel Experience is better?
Thank you

Request: best stable custom ROM for Redmi K20 Pro/MI 9t pro

Hi, guys.
I would like to change my Mi 9t pro from MIUI 11 to any custom ROM, because I'm looking for a ROM that gives me a better SOT and performance than stock MIUI 11.
What's the best stable ROM that I can find?
Ps: How can I keep the MIUI stock camera app in any custom ROM, or if it's included in some ROM (with no bugs, if it's possible), Wich ROM would you recommend me?
Thank you all.

I've been using EvoX for quite some time, have been enjoying it. It covers all the concerns that you've mentioned.

-MIUI will give you the best SOT. It has more aggressive battery optimizations.
-I can vouch for EvoX. There have been regular updates, it has the most user-friendly features, but the developer has taken a leave yesterday so the development in the next month or so maybe a little slow. Other option is Lineage.. It also has similar development.
-No rom will be as stable as MIUI. Fingerprint will be slightly slower on the roms.
-There will be minor bugs.
-For the MIUI camera, you can flash ANX Camera.
Hope i helped!
Asoip and extended ui rom are very smooth roms which i could recommend and are regularly updated. Also in Asoip rom it has the option of FP unlock with the screen off which is only in this rom i believe.
Unofficial Havoc 3.2 is the best AOSP 10 ROM I've used so far.
Install ANX Cam for stock camera experience on custom ROMs
TOP AOSP (popular): EvoX, derpfest, aosip.
TOP MIUI (popular): EU-LS, masik, miroom.

For best SOT , Miui is great.
There is a Flashable zip for stock camera in the Official Channel on Telegram.
And yes, some roms has fast fingerprint speed but some are slow as written in the comment above.
I like miui for its features, and its obviously most stable.
If you want customization with MIUI then use MIUIPro or MiGlobal Roms they have same performance with more features and customizations.

I love Evolution X Rom too but on my Redmi K20Pro, there is a Video playback issue where you play a video and it freezes for a couple of seconds frequently. Did you happen to experience this?

Help me to select a custom rom please

which custom rom is most customizable?
I'm new in this custom rom thing, using oxygen os now, but I'm not so much okay as the fod is not working at all, i wanna shift to pixel experience a12 or miui eu rom, which one should be okay, actually i want more stable less buggy rom
Thanks in advance
Go for evolution x or pixel experience.

Hey Everyone
I was wondering is it possible to Flash Redmi note 10 pro Indonesian (Sweet) rom on Redmi note 10 pro max (sweetin) after unlocking bootloader? Will it work on pro max? I just want to have Mi Dialer! I really sick of this Google dialer and Massages

Bootloader kilidini açtıktan sonra Redmi note 10 pro max (tatlı) üzerinde Redmi note 10 pro Endonezya (Tatlı) rom'u Flash'ın mümkün olup olmadığını merak ediyordum. Pro max'ta çalışır mı? Sadece Mi Çeviriciye sahip olmak istiyorum! Bu Google çevirici ve Masajlardan gerçekten bıktım
Şimdiden teşekkürler..
Not: Redmi Note 10 Pro Max (108 Megapiksel) sahibiyim

I'm also wondering the same question. As some the roms list only 'sweet' as the compatible device, while 'sweet' and 'sweetin' share almost the same internal components.

I did the research, We can't Install Sweet ROM on Sweetin, I mean we can, but you will experience some problems , especially about camera, and the performance and battery life will not be as good as the stock sweetin rom, we don't need Sweet ROM, actually Indian ROM is pretty good...

Thanks for the reply. BTW, which rom are you currently using. I's looking for a rom which would provide great battery and stability.

You're Welcome, I'm Using The Latest Stock Indian ROM (V12.5.10.0.RKFINXM), It's really Stable and Smooth, I've never experienced any lag, Battery Life is Great Too. MIUI 13 Will be Release For this Device till the end of March.
@idell I'm also on the same version. I've always been fond of Pixel Experience but hesitant to switch in fear of MIUI goodies. Otherwise, battery life of MIUI is good, around 7.5-8hrs of SOT on regular usage.

Pixel Experience is a good start. Nice smooth ROM with good battery backup. It however has very few customization options. If you want tonnes of customization you could try Project Elixir, but I don't know about its battery usage.
