Mi account locked, no sim, no password, locked bootloader - Xiaomi Mi 8 Questions & Answers

Hello guys,
Really don't know where to start ..
As you can see in the title, I have a problem with locked Mi account, I don't have a sim card associated with the account, dont' know the password and the bootloader is locked ... sounds like an impossible mission to fix this, I know.
I tried a lot of things (mi flash, mi unlock, xiaomi tool v2 by Francesco, MI Pc Suite etc) but nothing.
I'm desperate, I thought it wasn't that hard to bypass mi account activation, but I was absolutely wrong.
If anyone can help, I would be grateful ..
P.S --> English is not my native language, so sorry for any mistakes.

Just create your own MI account an request for unlock permissions.
Should work without much problems.
You can't, since every mi Phone bind it's imei to previous account on that device.

Then you would never be able to sell the phone to another person, since you had to give your own mi account to that buyer.
Sorry but i can't believe that.
If it is, it is stupid and should be changed.
Try signing out from the previous account
I was able to change from one MiUi account to another by first signing out from one MiUi account. I think on the device it says "un-register device on account" or similar. So you could try installing the previous de-bloated rom and try to unregister the device while booted into the rom, and then install new Rom.

just sign out mi account binded to that phone and sell it, i answered he can't because he bought mi 5 in china so how he found previous owner ?. there is only 2 solutions : 1. use any rom except miui 2. using dongle box to remove mi account that binded to that phone..
I have same problem, what I have to do? how to remove binding?
you can bypass activation state with any xiaomi account bypass support box or dongle.
I recommended MRT Dongle or BST Dongle.
if your device is bootloader unlocked , try flash custom recovery and remove /system/app/finddevice/FindDevice.apk via recovery
-1 . /system/app/finddevice.apk
-2./system/app/Cloud.apk

Could you be more specific please for this part "I deleted my account before logging out of it from my device"? Have you deleted the Mi account from the device?

Well can you see the Mi account info in your device? If yes then try to recover the password. If that's not possible then register a new Mi account and request for an unlock request again. As far as I know it may not be possible to delete an Mi account fully. Just try to recover the password.

It's because of weak xiaomi programming
I can recover my account just using Mi ID because I made another account using my email that was associated with my previous account Is there any way to find out the ID? because its like this 167****5677
Thanks again

I don't think so. Unless you've phone no bounded with that account. Just re-apply for unlock with that new account and remove the Mi account from your device.
No its not possible to recover it anymore... Unfortunately your phone is a paperweight now.
I think you can try https://imeisn.com/ if you didn't found a solution. It helped me just yesturday.

Cannot unlock bootloader - chinese error message

Hi,
I've bought the Mi 9T Pro on Amazon.
So far, everything works fine besides the fact that I get an error message in chinese while using the Mi flash unlocker to unlock the bootloader.
Mi account logged in. Since I don't have a nano-sim yet for my main number I've used my spare card to activate it.
Anyone fluent in chinese what might be missing here?

Best regards
Chris
The message says that the device has been locked via the MI find my device service. Is the number your account? If so, you will have to unlock your device first via find my device.

Oh someone can read it.
Any idea how or where I can remove that completely?
Edit: the number is not my primary under which I've registered my other Mi devices. But I've used it once to unlock my dad's Mi Mix 3, which is also registered with my Mi account.

If the displayed account is your account, you should be able to just head to i.mi.com and unblock your own device. If it's someone else's account number, that means someone has marked it stolen or otherwise locked.
Alright, after cutting my sim I continued. After updating the MiUi Flasher I get now errors in English.
New error: "Current account is not bound to this device. Enable it under dev options -> Mi Unlock status."
I did exactly that - I inserted the sim, went to this options, and ticked link to account. fter that I got a message "linked successfully". In fastboot mode in the flasher I get the same exact error again. The phone does not seem to be recognized by the Mi account and is thus not listed in the Mi cloud.
Any ideas what went wrong and how to fix it?

Log in to the Mi Flash Tool using the phone number of the SIM that's in the phone and was used to register the phone for unlocking (when you go to developer settings, unlock status)
This normally happens because the phone number wasn't registered on your Mi account before starting the unlock process.
That was the error, ty very much. I did always login with my email. After the phone number it did show a timer.
PS: a whole week now? No idea why they prolong it each time...
Mi 9t pro should be on global rom,why is the warning msg in Chinese?

Might have been due to an older version of the Mi flash tool. After I updated it, it was in english. Maybe the older version did not have support for the global Mi 9T and thought I have a chinese K20 Pro.

You are lucky, I have to wait 169hrs before I can unlock the bootloader.

Mi Cloud lock bypass

Hello everyone, I bought a Xiaomi Redmi 4A, but the seller haven't been using it for a long time so she forgot Mi Account login things and doesn't want to care about it. The phone wasn't locked and I wanted to do a factory reset, but it was protected by the Mi Account. I did the factory reset in recovery (stock) and then the phone was locked. I removed the FRP lock and used Miku Tool for Mi Account removal, but the account is removed only until I connect to the internet. What should I do to remove it permanently? Thanks lot.
Hi did you find solution sir im stuck with the same problem . I just registered to this forum today but im worried no answers are forthcoming here

can you explain more about it
Are you sure the phone is not stolen?
I format+download my REDMI 9. The device is mine, but I deleted MI account before to log out my phone and now I can't restore it and my device fallen into a black screen every time I connect it on internet.
Format+download doesn't resolve your issue.
Maybe the mainboard code is stored in other partition and every time you connect to web, the Mi cloud application look for the code into XIAOMI SERVER and lock the phone.
The only way is to find a modified ROM without mi cloud application or find the way to deleted application using any software without connect device to web.
I think that it is a big mistake of xiaomi.
If I deleted my account, automatically lets free all device connected, or if your issue is the privacy, instead lock a black screen, create a button that allow you only to wipe all data so all stored informations will be lost and you can use it.
