It wont work, it only unlock the options like Audio Focus, more HDR etc, but they wont work.

Hey folks!
Finally after long wait MIUI 10 beta for REDMI4/4X.
Please follow the below steps to flash MIUI10 on Redmi4:
1. First take backup of all your apps and app data.
2. Download and flash latest TWRP 3.2.1 , Redwolf Recommended Click here
3. Wipe Cache, Dalvik, Data and System
4. Flash MIUI 10 beta zip from the below link.
5. Flash lazyflasher zip to keep TWRP or else TWRP will go after reboot.
6. Reboot and here you GO!!!
7. If you want to root Flash Magisk 16.4 after successful boot.

The widget must be set manually to your location and please dont quote the whole post

I've installed the ROM, no problems.
But in the main post, you mentioned the root with Magisk, but root checker says that only Superuser app is installed (Magisk Manager 6.0.0).No Superuser Binary files, and no Root user account.
Also in Developer options, there no option for OEM Unlock.
How can I get full root with this rom?

just flash magisk

Hello,
I found it allready. The Magisk Manager was version 6.0.1, and could not install the latest Magisk.
I've rmoved completely the manager, and install the latest Magisk Manager.
Then flashed latest Magisk, and everthing was just fine.
Great rom, works fine and stable.
Nice to have a data toggle in the power menu :good:

How about a 9.0 Pie version of this rom?

GSI Installation Guide?

Since Android 12 Beta 1 dropped earlier today, I was thinking if anyone managed to flash it successfully? Ever since Android 11 Beta last year, I never managed to boot, always stuck in android logo bootloop. I've tried numerous guide but I probably missing a few steps here in there.
Anyone managed to flash successfully please kindly share your step by step guide, thank you very much!

i did try flashing gsi was stuck on bootlogo with camera popped out.
I never managed to boot any gsi directly till now and haven't really found any specific method for our device..

I've found out how to boot Android 12 Beta GSI. You need to flash A11 vendor, which is only available for Chinese ROM. Fortunately, Xiaomi EU has ported it for other region. You can download it from here.

Tested this gsi without formatting my whole storage but this is AOSP gsi which doesn't have any visual changes from google beta 1 gsi.
If u find any other method to flash google beta1 gsi on this phone please forward it here.

Unfortunately, the only modification that I could find regarding Android 12 Beta for Pixel devices that is ported for Treble device are for Mi 9T/Redmi K20.

Hi. Can you provide a link with the rom you installed please ? Thx. For custom recovery do you need a special tipe of stable rom (a standard original rom from xiaomi but modified for custom recovery) or it is working with any stable/beta rom from xiaomifirmwareupdater.com like this: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/lime/stable/V12.5.2.0.RJQEUXM/

Thx for links but if my phone is recognized as lemon and not lime (like in rom description) how it will flash in fastboot ? I don't want to get me some errors and possible (or sure) brick my device. That screen type ruins everything on this phone...lucky me. Thx again.
