Hello, i have couple days on my Mi 11 miui 13 EEA version and its not really good experience so far. Can i go safely back to miui 12.5? I mean can i use standard method (unlock bootloader, flash fastboot rom via mi flash, lock bootloader) i did it many times, but just wanna avoid any problem because different version of android on each version of miui.
Thanks for advice
There should not be any issue )
Your phone's QC maybe broken, that's a bug ( from miui 13 back to any version before miui 13)
This is first version of miui for my device. I can go back only to miui 12.5 with A11.

My CC9 is currently on Stock MIUI 12.0.2.0 stable (QFCCNXM)
Android version: 10
I checked ARB via fastboot commant and got "anti:1"
My question is .... "is there any way to flash Android 10 based EU custom rom running MIUI 11.0.3.0 ?"
That means I want to downgrade from stock miui 12 (Android 10) to custom miui 11 (based on Android 10) or custom miui 11 (based on Android 9)
via TWRP.
Is this will cause hard brick?
Please, someone clear this confusion...
Hi.
Read this article: https://www.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-anti-rollback-protection-brick-phone/
You can safely downgrade the firmware version on this device.

Thanks for the response. I know how ARB works in switching official miui.
We can check the antiroll back index from fastboot rom image (from bat file) but since I want to move from an official miui12 to a custom xiaomi.eu miui11 so how can I check that xiaomi.eu rom's ARB index? because custom roms are recovery rom to to be flashed from within twrp. Is there a way to check ARB index of an recovery rom?
This is where I got confused that switching from official miui to a custom miui will still get affected by ARB or not...
I was wonder how I should move from MIUI 12 Indian version to MIUI 12.5 Global/eu version. should I do clean flash or dirty flash will work as well?
To change regions you need to flash a fastboot ROM.
See the answer I've just written on another thread for details of flashing fastboot ROMs.
Need help to change rom from global to eu ( for nfc purposes ) ( I'm a newbie )

Hello.
Good day to everyone.
I got the mi 11 ultra Chinese version and I flashed the MIUI 13. Before it had global stable 12.5. (i bought it with that rom preinstalled and unlocked).
I installed the MIUI 13 china because I use Google pay and I wanted a locked rom but i Iive in Europe so Its very frustrating to set up the Chinese version. I want a phone for everyday use but i didn't know that It was china version and I couldn't use Google pay when I bought it.
The phone is Chinese MIUI 13 locked totally as stock.
I want to unlock and go back to MIUI 12 either on global or eea rom. Which one u suggest. I read about Xiaomi eu rom but I don't want to mess up with my phone Everytime I have to update it except if Xiaomi eu rom update itself like global or eea rom.
What u think?
And how to do it?
unlock bootloader then flash xiaomi.eu stable version (miui 13) , you can search and follow instructions on xiaomi.eu
Very stable for me

Is there website that I can check daily for ETA is the twrp for miui 13 Vili?
Is there any reason why orange fox doesn't support this device ? Kinda starting to miss my Surya, poco x3 NFC.
I'm seriously thinking to downgrade to miui 12.5 also because I'm missing dark theme for all apps the oby problem is that if I go back I'm pretty sure the next day the twrp for 13 goes live. :sadkek:
You can go back if you unlock bootloader and flash as you would normally do. There is no downgrade lock. At least not in my phone.

that will take quite a long time since TWRP doesnt support Android 12 yet.
OrangeFox doesn't support this device because theres no maintainer who is planning to do the TWRP OrangeFox for it.
Also i recommend you going to the Xiaomi.EU ROM, since the usual Global, EEA MIUI rom is pretty much a dumbed down version of what MIUI is.

OFFICIAL XIAOMI.EU ROM FOR XIAOMI 11T PRO Android 12 / MIUI 13 I. READ ME FIRST! Your bootloader should be unlocked Installation via FASTBOOT (No TWRP version yet) This will ERASE ALL YOUR DATA - do a BACKUP first! May brick your device if you...

Can you tell me how you did that?
Follow instructions on this link. First update the phone to the latest MIUI 12.5 version and then type "Redmi 9T update tracker" in google and open xda developer site, choose and download two recovery Roms, one you already have ( the latest) and one you want - lets say MIUI 12.0.10. (DONT YOU DOWNLOAD FIRST VERSIONS OF MIUI 12 LIKE MIUI 12.01 OR MIUI 12.02, YOU CAN BRICK THE PHONE. ONLY FROM MIUI 12.08 AND UPPER. MIUI 12.0.10 IS THE BEST I THINK)
After you download them, follow the instructions about update with renaming the MIUI and you will do it.
