Hi,
I have purchased Redmi note 10s just few days back. While playing games on my mobile it become heated. I don't know why this problem is occurring on phone. Any help or suggestion really be appreciated.
Thanks,
Steven lash San Diego
It's normal for devices to heat up when chips are used all the time especially when playing graphics intensive games, but if it gets too hot to hold for long this isn't normal and you should return for a refund or replacement, as then it's probably faulty.

Dear all,
i have been using my mi5 for 1 year already. i am enjoying it except the camera, external speaker. I am using it with JDC stable nougat.
My question is is it a good idea to switch to galaxy note 5 ?
Have any of you used note 5 before? Would i suffer after changing snapdragon 820 to exynos 7420 ?
Please let me know your opinions and suggestions as they will be helpful to make a decision
Regards, Agil

what's your purpose on changing to Note 5? Mi5 is newest from specs standpoint. but unless you can justify that quad hd, big ass screen, and also the pen (of course) then i say go for it. because i will. i definetely can see myself use the pen for my needs. besides, from my experience, i barely notice the performance difference between my mi4c, redmi note 3, or z3c. so performance is not too big of deal for me. and the only game i play is FGO which is fine in older device even the lower end ones.
The biggest reason that holds me down, is laggy choppy interface animations in note 5. In our mi5 they are super smooth. Also note 5 doesnt seem to have good aosp roms. Main games i play are real racing 3 and ire blood and memory
If you buy Note 5 you have to flash Dr.Ketan Full S8+ port rom. That change note 5 to S8+
Has anyone tried benchmarking their Note 9 (SD845 version) a benchmarking app?
After a few minutes, the phone throttles to 2/3 of its max performance.
I am surprised that the Note 9 throttles so quickly despite how much Samsung praises its cooling system.
Is this normal behavior for the Note 9? It would be very helpful if someone can benchmark with the SD 845 version of Note 9 and post their results.

It is normal. Don't forget that you have really small space in a phone body. The better cooling won't help with that and 100% loads will throttle it fast. The cooling will take effect in real world scenarios where the load is not at 100% for all cores at max frequency. It will help with gaming for example or intense real usage. So don't worry, it can't do wonders, but it defo helps with the phone performance in heavier tasks/usage compared to the s9/s9 plus.
So i have now the note 4 ... I know an old runner
But it's an amazing phone
And of course, I need to upgrade
There's a deal for note 9 for about 660$
But the problem is Exynos version
I searched allot and i think i am depressed
I can't make a decision
I wanted the snapdragons version it's not available anywhere i live
And there is no option except the (one plus 6t) and it is near the same price
I think every advantage go to Samsung
The display the camera The mic the vibration motor
Just the processor is the advantage to the OnePlus and the 2gig of ram
But again it's Exynos and i read allot of thing about the performance and the battery drain with allot of benchmark and test
I play games ((pubg)) especially
Can you advise me ..?
How is the phone after pie update?
And did you play games...how was the performance?
I consider my self heavy user
I don't know what to do i think my head is melting ....these a big thing to me i don't change my phone often
And Samsung was good with me in the note serice
But the SOC is very frustrated
Thanks and sorry for my English
Hi everybody,
Sorry for the strange thread title, it was just a joke...
I'm struggling to get a new phone and i need your opinion...
I've just sold my oneplus 6T. I'll list my requirements and some phone
I found and if you like you could give me some suggestions...
I use the phone mainly to internet, mail, and socials, but very often
I travel for my job spending many hours in the airport and i don't want
A tablet, so i need a big screen, at least 6.4 but 6.6 is better, jack audio 3.5mm,
Possibly a sd card slot but i can leave it.
A good multimedia specs (screen refresh rate, audio dts) to see movies on netflix, amazon video and so on.
A good camera, possibly two, with wide angle.
Very big battery.
And i'd like to get a snapdragon 855 to play games and emulators.
Googling i found:
Asus zenfone 6z wonderful camera, all around features smartphone but lcd screen and no availability
Mi 9 T Pro (Redmi K20 Pro), but i need to wait the international version because the Asian one (K20 pro) misses band 20, and in my country (Italy) is wide used.
Nubia red magic 3 beautiful phone very customizable, but i'm not sure about single camera quality, and it misses NFC.
Huawei Mate 20 X has evrything i need more a huge 7.2" display, but works with emui and kirin cpu....
I would stay away from oneplus because they are not anymore the killer they were...Last thing, my budget is around € 500...
Thanks everybody for your help! Ciao.
Guys in our country a huge number of NOTE 9 handsets(1-2 Years old) is available at a price of $242.I would like to know from you guys whether it is advisable to buy this handset in 2021 or not..I am basically looking for a flagship device(I dont care even if it s an old one) which I can use for at least next 2 years and also which can provide me a very good experience in terms of watching movies and browsing..Although I am little bit concerned about note 9 as I have heard there are some issue like screen burn ..So please help me guys
The Note 9 is still a beast of a device even by 2021 standards. However allot of them have been plagued by the green display issue, which is caused by the display not being properly glued to the display panel. Which is over time the heat from the device caused the display to separate from the glass panel. That said you can easily get it replaced.
Screen burn in doesn't happen that often unless you have a picture on your device for a prolong period of time, or are constantly texting over a long period of time.
I buyed a renewed Note 9 Exynos in Germany and it´s working very well, no screen issues, good battery life. I don´t like the Note 20.
