PBRP not asking pin to decrypt the encrypted phone data - Realme C3 Questions & Answers

Hello there,
I have recently installed Official Arrow OS in my Realme C3 and after even flashing the OS it just shows bunch of random numbers and letters in the place of the Data which means that it is encrypted even after setting up the ROM and Gapps everthing and after setting pin as the password when I boot to recovery it does not ask for any pin or security code and just opens up but shows the encrypted data.
I have installed PBRP latest stable version of recovery and flashed Arrow OS official stable rom by sarthak roy and also its rooted
PLEASE HELP ME

Fingerprint and encrypted device

I've tested NitrogenOS, PixelExperience, LineageOS (lineage-15.1-20180405-UNOFFICIAL-santoni). Fingerprint is working on any of them, as long as device is unencrypted.
But if you encrypt the device you can register a fingerprint but after a boot it doesn't work anymore. And your not able to delete old ones.
Is that a base problem for any custom rom (or even in the official one). Or does anyone know a custom rom where that works?

Every ROM , I have encrypted storage but with password other than password to lockscreen
How?
Simply.
1. Flash whatever ROM you want.
2. Encrypt storage with password, if it ask if you want to secure your device by entering password on every boot tap on "YES".
3. Wipe ROM, yes - wipe system, data, cache, dalvik. Reboot to recovery agian.
4. Flash target ROM, reboot, it will ask for password from point 2. Enter and let it boot.
5. Set lockscreen password in setting but now choose "NO" when it ask if you want to secure your device by entering password on every boot
.
.
.
6. Profit , you have device encrypted independently of flashed ROM
Seems that all above are not connected with your question? NO, it is connected.
Yes, fingerprint is working on all custom ROMs using this method
And I'm using TWRP 3.1.1-0 for Redmi 4X, Firmware v32 and newest RR 6.0

Just tried the function with updating 14.1 to 15.1.
->not working
For resurrection rom the fingerprint works right after the first boot of encryption but not anymore after the second.
@jw96 are you also using a custom kernel, or only rr with v32 firmware
Just kernel provided with rr, magisk installed, no other mods or changes to kernel / boot image
Actually I'm very surprised.
I t working with AEX after several reboots with an encrypted device
exact Build: AospExtended-v5.5-OFFICIAL (BuildDate 15.05. 16:07) | AospExtended-v5.5-santoni-20180515-1407-OFFICIAL
No problem on NitrogenOS for me. Just had to reboot the device twice.
Reboot again solved the problem

Nexus 6 updating LineageOS 15 TWRP decrypt problem

Hello So I managed to update my LOS 14 to 15. Flashed latest TWRP 3.2.1.0 with Nexus Root Toolkit and installed Lineage OS 15 and Gapps for 8.1 without problem.
But today came out OTA update and when I hit install it opens TWRP that asks for decryption password.
I have never set any screen/SIM lock or password. As I checked there is no updated TWRP for Nexus 6 just this 3.2.1.0 that is not supporting Oreo based ROMs encryption.
Is there any workaround, without wiping data? Maybe with OTG stick and installing update manually... or just wait for TWRP to update/or contact them?
Thank you guys.
LOS forces encryption for years and recently not. Only way to decrypt is hit cancel when prompted for password, access and back up data to laptop or OTG flash drive (offsite), backup ROM to TWRP, move TWRP folders offsite, format data which wipes all data, move/restore all data and files back to phone, restore ROM, flash Fed-patcher V8 (must download before hand and move offsite with other data so u can now use it) to rid of encryption on LOS, reboot

encryption problem

So i just flashed rr from the red wolf recovery (treble version)..everything worked, magisk also flashed succesfully...but unfortunately my device got encrypted...asking for my pattern on reboot also on opening up recovery...so i went back to recovery wiped everything including internal storage to remove encryption...rebooted the recovery pattern lock was still there also after that when i flashed aex treble version it is also asking for my pattern to reboot..its not big of a deal but how to remove this encryption help me guyss

Xiaomi mi8 on lineage os bootloop after encryption

Have a xiaomi mi8 with lineage os on it (official build) and twpr. Did have encryption working before but had to wipe the phone and lost all is and encryption and can't remeber for the life of me what twrp version I used to get encryption working and what steps I took to get there. I try encrypt the phone now and it gets stuck on lineage boot logo. Switch it off after hours of being on the lineage logo and get to twrp and it does not ask for a password but says it can't Mount my partition when j try browse file or factory reset (has to be format option to start again)
Any ideas what twrp version I need and what steps in what order I need to take to get encryption back

[HELP] TWRP does not start after lineageos update

Hi all,
I encrypted the official lineageos on my Pixel 5 with a pattern and then installed a new version via TWRP.
Unfortunately, that does not seem to work with encryption, so now LOS no longer start and TWRP freezes at the logo and no longer asks for the pattern.
Is there a way to decrypt the internal memory with TWRP? I have previously made a backup, but now I no longer have access to it because it is on the encrypted storage.
I already tried to reinstall TWRP but it doesn't work, it freezes at the logo and therefore can't be used anymore.
If anyone has an idea what I can do, I would be very grateful.
