Question M3 Pro display panel vendor? - POCO M3 Pro / Redmi Note 10 5G

I'll start my question simple: What display panel does the M3 Pro/Note 10 5G have, and does it have issues with image retention?
My old Redmi 5 Plus (vince) has a Tianma panel, and it has a severe image retention problem. Exact reason why I got myself a new M3 Pro. I heard Note 8 users with Tianma panels also have this issue.
I've tried going into CIT under 'Version Info', and I saw the vendor was TRULY or something. I've been searching on the net for a couple of days, yet nothing shows up, other than the alleged company's website.

Xiaomi Oreo & Android Auto

I have been using a Note 3 pro with android 6, and works perfect with AA, but now, with a Note 6 Pro, AA show half sized, with black stripes up and down, and touch screen does not work correctly.
I have been reading a lot of forums about it and seems that Xiaomi does not have any solution, only wait for Pie !!
All phones with Android Oreo have the same problem. F1, Note 5 pro, Mi 8, Mi 8 lite, Mi 8 SE...
Any other solution ?
It really sucks, my new phone and I can't use with AA.
Same boat as you... Xiaomi Poco F1: black bar without any icons on the car's display, car display flickering some times, and unresponsive phone lock screen until force rebooted... I'm already running a custom Rom (not MIUI) with Android Pie, so Xiaomi's 'wait for Pie' recommendation I'm afraid won't fix the problem until they decide to really look into this issue...

Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro Middle part of screen not working

Hello,
I bought the MI 9T Pro, and during my tests I've observed a weird issue.
When dragging the finger vertically on the screen , exactly in the middle it stops working. Mostly is observed when trying a paint type of app, is not recognizing the fingers when arriving in the middle of the screen. sometimes it works.
I tried doing a reset to factory settings but it didn't helped.
The phone has MIUI 11, i can't rollback to a previous version like MIUI 10, as i think this is a software issue and not a hardware one.
Any advices?
Kind regards.
Screen record in the miui testing app & post
(*#*#6484#*#*) -> Test touch sensor
Or can even test in apps like display tester or Antutu benchmark
Hello, i tried also this method. The test is assed but when nearing the centre of the screen i can see how a diagonal line goes for aproximately 1 centimenter straight vertically an after it passes the center goes back to drawing diagonally. A made request also to Xiaomi global support. Gave this advice and also update to the latest patch. Still didn't worked.
In the end i returned the phone and buyed a new one.
Kind regards

You probably need to reset the previous fingerprint data (by deleting /data/system/package_cache or something - in the worst case by Factory reset)
But if I recall correctly, there were reports that some (cheap) replacement displays don't work well with MIUI 11 or something
(I didn't replace my display and did not have the problem - but I recall that I saw here or under Mi 9T some posts about issues with the replacement displays during the last year or so)

Redmi Note 9 PRO Global bricked after built in update

My phone isn't rooted, I ran the update from Xiaomi from the settings menu and after a bit of time my phone was stuck on the splash screen for miui. I tried rebooting multiple times but I couldn't get my phone to boot up.
Did some searching over the web and tried to recover my phone using the MIFLASH tool, which showed my phone but would say its locked. I tried the unlock tool and the phone still wouldn't unlock due to asking for auth.
The last thing I tried was the EDL method, when I plug my phone into my PC it's listed in the device manager as Andriod BootLoader and not a com port.
I did install the drivers from MIFlash, there were no error messages, but I did see some chinese text listed.
Is there anything I can do or have I been going about it wrong?
If your device is redmi note 9 pro, try this section:

Question Disable DynamicSwitch screen

Investigating the possible causes of stuttering using the 90hz screen, I came across some users of poco x3 (which has a 120hz screen) reporting a similar problem.
As one of the possible solutions, some users decided to disable the device's DynamicSwitch in order to lock it at 90 or 120hz.
Has anyone tested this procedure on poco m3 pro?
a pilot global ota update was released. it seems 90hz now works fine. also the extra memory bug is fixed
