Introduction - Introductions

Hi All,
I am new here even though I have been using XDA for quite a long time for my day-to-day tech queries and news/updates. I absolutely love this community.
I am an android user and believe in Android supremacy and looking forward to contributing as much as possible and learning along the way.

Hello There!

Hello there! General Kenobi
I am iXaidyiu. I have been a member of the XDA forum for 6 years now, I have actually heard of the forum even longer until I have taken action, keep calm and mod my Xperia Go. Not long after I have started modding, rooting my Go its USB port started to malfunction and I have to get a new phone, which lands me on the Xperia Z and subsequently the Xperia Z2. During the time of using my Xperia Z's, it was the best phone I've ever had. both in real life and on this forum. It's the time I have really stepped up in the community in providing tips and tricks on modding, battery saving or even seldom known actions with the community. Even to this date half a decade later since I first started using the phone, I would still actively reach out to look for any problems I can solve in the sub-forum and even the XDA as a whole. However, as phone's security has strengthened drastically in the past few years and Google and OEMs started really cramping much of the features I want, like power-saving stuff, into the OS, the need, and frankly also the ability or the push, to mod my phone become less and less. With the introduction of SafetyNet and banking apps started to follow, it has dealt a great blow to my modding interest and I have since retreated much of my interest in looking for ways to mod as most of my previous doings require me to break the Net which I don't feel safe in doing so.
Now although I have not been participating as much when compared to the previous years, I am still keen on resolving others, especially new-comers, on their queries about using their phone, tips and tricks, though not in the too technical genres.
All in all, it's a pleasure that I have made the right choice in 2012 to go for the Xperia Mini Pro instead of the iPhone whatever and that's had led me to this place whereas I can share with others just how much our phone potentials are and what a community XDA has been, to share the love of modding and making the most out of our phones!
Very cool iXaidyiu ! I'm waiting on a phone device that doubles as a drone!

Well I still use XDA as my main and only forum for all things Android, tho if u mean specific sub-forums I would be around S10 and Z2 forum, and occasionally even XZ and OP5T, too.

Another Android newbie

I've been always curious about this world but honestly, felt overwhelmed about it. But recently I've started to think it would be good to join some community effort to keep alternatives to the mainstream OS. Initiatives like LineageOS or AfterMarketOS should be much more available to the general public if we truly believe on circular economies and giving the user better options.
Any case, a little emergency with my phone brought me to several threads in XDA so to thank and clarify, I signed up and here I'm now. Cheers!

[Introductions] Hello XDA!

Hey there coding people! Hi! I'm James, (SpaceGhostInTheMachine) and I joined the XDA community to gain access to one INCREDIBLE knowledge base. You guys, this community.. is the epitome of what it means to be neighborly. It's astonishing to see such an atmosphere here in the interwebs. Most internet people are toxic as you may have witnessed. I am new to the coding world. For the last year I've delved headlong into the CLI and it's languages. The AOSP is still very foreign to me, but I'm getting a bit more familiar with source code everyday. I enjoy working with HMI's and I would like to start designing UX's for IoT hub interfaces and displays. There's so much to learn. I am a multipotentialite or a polymath, not to tout. That just means I know a lot about a lot. Also, means I MUST absorb all the available information pertaining to.. well.. everything. If there's anything I can teach or any way I can help anyone. Call upon me and there are no stupid questions. Only over-complicated solutions to simple problems. Thanks for having me! Take care!

Greetings XDA

Hello all, Not a lot to say about my self really. I am just another individual coasting through life. I've visited somewhat frequently here as a nameless lurker absorbing the knowledge of you brilliant minds. Not until recently had I felt inclined to post with a registered account. I am a hobbyist in both software and hardware. Don't want to overplay my skill level with any kind of title as I haven't yet earned those wings but I do occasionally have a mote of genius and attempt to help out anonymously but I've never been certified, nor employed as any type of programmer or engineer. I hope to expand my understanding mostly of mobile phone/tablet and laptop modding going forward but can't guarantee how much time I have to devote to any projects due to life in general. I at least hope to contribute something in my free time. Anyhow, look forward to getting to know some of you.
Glad to have you aboard XDA mate! Continue to enjoy the forums information!
Cheers

My Intro

How's it going everyone? I look forward to chatting and learning from the people here.
Little about me, I started my real IT interest and pursuit learning to program in C#. Currently I work in the Cyber field but still have a high interest and desire to continue programming.
I love the use of technology for very practical and intended purposes and seeing what new innovations come out.
I'll catch yall on the forums.
Hi, Welcome to XDA and enjoy your journey around the forums!
