[Theme] Ghost Black - BETA 2 - RC30-JF1.41 (1/25)

Hello to all.
This is BETA 2 of my first theme, Ghost Black. For the time being, it is RC30 JF1.41 only, but I am planning on doing RC8 and ADP1 once I redo this for RC31.
As stated above, this is a BETA, and with that, you are responsible for any/all problems you encounter trying this theme. I have tested it myself, and have had no issues, but that doesn't mean you won't.

Thanks to everyone for all their input and suggestions so far. Even though I haven't implemented everything yet, I will in the upcoming days/weeks.
Still to do/current issues:
*Help finish this up for a proper metamorph release!
*Due to the black icons, they look really bad on the open slider. I have experimented in V2 with the Music and Browser icons, giving them a white glow (which makes them easier to see against dark backgrounds). If all goes well, I will convert the rest of the icons to have the whiteglow

Thanks. I've been waiting for this one.
Downloaded and installed with no problems.
Very slick. The icons look great against a light background.
However...When viewed in the applications tab, they are hard to see unless you highlight them with the trackball.

Just installed on my g1 gotta say it looks amazing as is just wondering if you can post that wallpaper you used because without it it dosent go well with a dark background
I found out that the current version you have of the theme, when I went to music the song icon is still green I guess you forgot to put it in there its just a heads up

I found 2 problems with the theme, in the music section the song icon is still green and when you pop out the keyboard in landscape the icon to pull the menu out has vanished. I will report more bugs when I find them in this post so check back.

Quick question, is this build on the the jf 1.31 rc30? or an older build?

one little thing thats driven me crazy is the app tab is black and the icons are black could you make it gray, but i love the theme thanks,

I love this theme I think it's the best one yet. Thanks for your work toxtrepla. Oh, and for the guy who said zip is broken, are you downloading the file through your phone via tethering? I kept getting corrupt downloads while doing so. I found it works better to download directly through the browser. Hope this helps!

I think that you could fix this by simply making the background black and the icons white,but I don't know if this would take away from the theme as a whole...

Just installed it on mine. looks really nice, especially for a work in progress. A few minor details to change:
- Make the GSM signal bars look like the WiFi signal bars.
- Make new Data Status icons (G,E,3G) that fit in with the skin.
- The icons in the launcher are too difficult to see with a black background. If the background was a few shades lighter it might be easier to see.

Agreed on the issues posted so far. The big thing I came across is when I installed it my browser uninstalled. I use the auto rotate browser build which could've been why. When I put the browser back on though it still uses the old icon

Ditto please fix this. Gr8 theme though

a bug report...when trying to set a background from pictures this theme doesnt work with it....the picture viewer begins to act buggy.

It works great on 4.22 with noproblem awesome theme..nice icons plus u cn choose if u want the regular launcher or advance launcher

No, it's still the default android one. I don't like pulse's keyboard though, I much prefer HTC's. I'm still having trouble trying to get the HTC keyboard to work right in this though haha.

One thing...I think the clock in the notification bar should be white, or light gray.
Also, can you post the wallpaper from the OP?

Will there be a 4.2.3.1 update anytime soon? I really like this theme, but I want to update to the newest stable ROM

I'm not sure. I don't think it would give you the themed application tab. What's the difference between the launcer used in CM and the advanced launcher?

I believe the most important aspects of it are the ability to hide apps in your drawer, cahnge the number of home screens, hide the text labels for app shortcuts, and disable landscape orientation in the drawer.

Ok, when I activate Dark from settings, messaging and contact (People) have bugs.
When it's in Light theme, everything it's ok but the background, messaging, contact (People) and Phone are white and I wanted to be Black.
Picture 1 - Without Dark activated
Picture 4 - With Dark activated (Message is not visible)
Pictures 2 and 3 - Dark activation
Picture with 43 - Dark activated, contact names not showing
Picture with 00 - Light activated, contacts visible

I don `t know about ROM AICP. Set yourself this set and saw your problem. So while removed from the theme changes to applications messaging and contacts. Install version 1.0.1 from the first post. Update soon appear in Google Play.

Ok, I'll change the color to a bright white, or in the near future.

Purity+ with new cm theme chooser (cm11) guess since you asked, the bug is from my phone

May i ask for one version without the nav icons?
I can't change their color values with tinted status bar.

Q: Great theme but... Could you did the font for the lock screen.... The time shows like 9024 instead of 9:24
A: This is a bug with all CM12 theme engine fonts for now. It's a limitation and not a bug with the theme

A:You don't have to activate all aspects of the theme. All fonts available for CM12 theme engine have problems displaying emoji and lockscreen clock. Fonts were just a testing phase.

A: This is a bug with CM12 theme engine which requires you to wipe your data on your phone through recovery. It's not a bug with my theme but a bug with CM12 Theme Engine in general.

What you mean? This is how it's looking to me. I'm using Nexus 6 with BlissPop 1.6 if that matters.

I believe he's talking about lock screen. I'm having this issue with black text as well, but I believe Dev can't do anything for now, there's something with CM theme engine I believe.

Never mind, I'm having black font in notifications as well.

That's really weird because as you can see i don't have that problem... But i think you both have different phone or at least rom? So that can be issue or something dont know...

I'm on resurrection remix and I am having both states black notifications in drawer and notifications in LS as well....text is not read able

Oh yeah i see. I was using Bliss Pop 1.7 which has stock grey UI (dark material). I just updated to 1.8 which has stock white UI and now i'm seeing notifications also dark like background and texts.

When turning on dark mode, the theme gets removed and starts to bug around.
After applying some issues with battery icon (There was still the outer shape of the normal horizontal icon but the inside that indicates battery strength was the new standing pixel version), fixed after restarting phone.

That's not bugs. Dark mode interferes with custom themes, but why enable it if the theme is dark too?
About battery - always phone should be rebooted if theme is changing the battery indicator.

Just wanted to point out that I had issues with that, it was buggy since I had darkmode enabled prior applying theme and opening the battery setting from the shortcut somehow re-enabled it automatically.
But works fine now, don't need the darkmode, it's dark enough now.
BTW I love that the quick settings are the stock icons. I hate the Huawei and tried substratum etc to change them but never worked... I didn't know that themes can change them (tried a lot of themes)

There is one thing I would like to suggest, if you find it worth considering.

I know this issue, didn't find solution yet even original dark interface on mate 10 pro has this issue

I have one question though, if you look at my screen shot, there is a gap between battery icon and the time. I refer to the screen shots available for preview on EMUI Themes Factory and it shows the gap to be much smaller. Any idea how I could fix this?
