Question Tmobile version of S21 auto provisioning based on the SIM carrier? - Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

I have a S21 from TMobile US, and network unlocked recently. I swap the tmobile sim with one from att, and then the phone reboot itself, and removed all Tmobile specified app, and installed all the att specified apps/games automatically, it even removed tmobile booting splash screen.
Is this expected? is that mean my S21 will works like carrier version based on the sim i insert?
Thanks,

AT&T S5 on tmobile compatibility

Just a quick question,
I received a galaxy s5 for work today and it is the att version, if I unlock it and use it on tmobile, does it support the same bands as the regular tmobile branded one?? Like LTE and hspa+ 21.
Thanks for all your help ahead of time and tend apologize if this has been posted before, I tried looking for something similar but was not able to find anything.
I have a AT&T Galaxy S5 unlocked. I put my friend's T-Mobile sim card in it and everything worked even LTE without changing anything (APN), it changed automatically. My brother has Claro (by the way I'm in Puerto Rico), with that one I had to change apn's manually to get data working.
I'm freed my AT&T S5 for use on T-Mobile last month and it works just fine. Didn't have to modify any APN settings either as the phone was able to pull it off the T-Mobile SIM.
In all freq's? AWS as well?
SAMSUNG-SM-G900A, with 128gb SD & Rooted.
That's what I'm wondering. I know LTE will work fine. But what about AWS and hspa.

[Q] Sim Unlocked At&t s5, will it work with Verizon's network?

I carrier unlocked my Galaxy S 5 and wanted to know if it would work on Verizon's network.
It might work on Wcdma, & Lte. Maybe other chime in.

I'd like to know as well.
Because I'm switching and my S5 is carrier unlocked.
When I put my VZW SIM (which works fine in an iphone 6) in the phone there is no indication of a problem, i.e. wrong sim, etc.
However the signal icon is generic and if I try to place a call it gives me that dreaded not registered on network pop up.
If I look in the properties on the phone the (VZW) number is displayed but it does not show as activated on network.
So my question is does the S5 (actually purchased at a Best Buy store as MetroPCS and unlocked to use on ATT) have the proper modem to work with VZW? If not I will need to sell it.
Interestingly enough I put the ATT SIM in the (VZW) iphone and it worked instantly. Placed calls, send SMS, and get LTE speeds with nothing to change whatsoever!
Here's a fairly good read on network bands and compatibility between carriers....
It should help.....g

UK Network not recognised with phone

Hi, I recently purchased a Samsung S5 Mini.
model # SM-G800F
Android version 4.4.2
I'd previously read that my sim would work fine according to this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/gds/Choosing-...-on-Three-3-Network-/10000000020620251/g.html
I've inserted the sim but it says 'network locked sim card inserted'
I've got a full signal with the phone and so the issue is definitely related to the sim.
I presume I have to unlock the phone?
Phone is locked to EE network in UK but it seems that my network Three (3) shares the same network and so, in theory, the sim should work??
Thanks for the flood of support. I ended up buying a code off ebay.

Can my unlocked T-Mobile G6 work on my Verizon network???

I recently bought a supposedly unlocked T-Mobile LG G6, but somehow my Verizon SIM card isn't working on it. The previous owner installed the T-Mobile unlock app and successfully unlocked it, so I'm really just not understanding what's going on. I tried to do a factory reset and restart the phone with my new SIM, tried to unlock it again (it says it's already permanently unlocked), etc. Help/advice would be much appreciated!!
is the VZW sim card already activated?
did you try using TMO sim card and see if its working with that?
try with LTE only mode with VZW.
Your tmobile branded G6 might not have all the CDMA bands to work with Verizon.
Verizon still uses CDMA.
If the phone is really unlocked, it will work on AT&T, Crickett, T-Mobile and most GSM networks.

network change firmware

So running the latest software it seems no need to flash firmware for carriers when you place an actual carrier sim in the splash screen and everything automatically switches to sim...I have a note 8 and a note 9 one cricket one metro since note 9 has band 71 I wanted to try metro in it and utilize that but ofcourse finding out metro locks service to imei unlike cricket does where any phone unlocked will work..but although I couldn't use my metro on my note 9 it did change splash screen and showed the wifi calling which I cant use wifi calling but i am able to hotspot again so that's the bonus for everyone on cricket needing hotspot again try popping in a tmobile or metro sim it holds even after restarting...correct me if I'm wrong on the firmware automatically switching cause the note 9 is a verizon bought phone and had been showing verizon splash screen....diagnose further when I buy new sim to tie note 9 to metro since they apparently pair sim and imei...

It's kind of new to me but I guess the take away for anyone is I've lost my hotspot capability on cricket when I switched to note 9 from note 8 cause changing the apn didn't work with new software like I did with note 8....and now i have regained that on note 9 which was bought through verizon also I'm able to utilize dialer codes again where I lost that too...so if your on cricket or something like that and lost those abilities then just pop in a metro or tmobile sim and restart phone then put your cricket sim back in and your good to go with hotspot and dialer codes again....I just wish cricket didn't whitelist phones capable of using volte where I could get that on my note 9 cause 3g calling has definitely went downhill with low to no coverage anymore on it...my real question is this everyone is talking about flashing the carrier csc to whatever carrier you going to so you have the best and all their perks just seems with latest updates there's no need for it like my note 9 has band 71 but while on verizon I'm sure they disable that band because it's not needed so it seems when you swap sims and forced to restart because new sim is detected and you put a tmobile sim in it automatically turns correct radio bands on for its network...correct or not because I want tmobile just need to know band 71 will be activated when I put a tmobile sim in this verizon bought note 9 and I'll be able to utilize their full network spectrum...cause metro by tmobile apparently only utilises band 2 and band 12 which cuts my coverage...sorry for the long read
