I'm on MIUI 13.0.4 Global version and after updating Google play system update to March 2022, my phone has become buggy, as the apps close in the background and wallpapers reset automatically and overall system has become buggy. If you are on Feb update, do not update to March, and is there any way to roll back to Feb update or do I have to wait for April Update? and is anybody else experiencing the same?

You can go to settings - >apps->play and uninstall updates

My new note 8 come at home today, l'm using it since a few hours and i do not have any update. Any way to force update or the only way is odin?
there's a software update option in settings from where you can force an update if it is available.
Samsung however has been very neglectful with note 8 security updates, until today(for me at least) they didn't release any updates since August.
they have however started releasing a new update, so you might get an update if you search now.
my internal duos version are still on august as well but my Vodafone branded one got the November patch in beginning of December
Just be patient, I just received the Nov update 2 days ago
So, I registered for Android Pie beta program and upgraded via OTA. But later I rolled back to Oreo 8.1 July via OTA. And now I can't get August OTA update. Everytime I check, it's showing no update available.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue? If this problem persists, then I am afraid I won't be able to get any further OTA update including stable Andoid Pie.

I am in the same boat as OP. Contacted Nokia support and they told me to wait for the OTA. They also suggested a method to somehow force the OTA by taking your sim card out, clear the cache of the Carrier Service app, shutting down and power on and search for the update once more (without the sim card), though it did not work for me so far.
EDIT: after waiting for a few hours the OTA appeared automatically, so you better just wait OP.

I just bought this phone yesterday and so far so good. I've received a bunch of OTA updates but only as far as July. Is there an August one as well? Any way to trigger the update?
I'm using TA1055 and in New Zealand.
Try to clear data on google services framework and carrier services and restart your phone
If not after restart, you should get your update around 24hours after

What is going on with the August and September updates? My last security update was in July and since than nothing...what kind of Android One device is this?!
August patch breaks custom tone folders.
When you get it, you'll have to load notification tones from storage//Music/

I think so too,my last security update was in July,I do not what happening,Nokia-Mokia...Android One,bla-bla...
New update, September security patch and:
-More stable system.
-user interface improvements.
I have to try the phone and see.

It said security patch update but i am still on august security patch so i don't know what it is. 77MB 8.1 (V2.22M)
Never tried the Pie beta but as for updates? Got updated to 8.1 shortly after I bought the phone. Since then nothing. Phone still says it is up to date with the July security patch. Very disappointed with this so called Android One device. This was one of the main reasons I bought this phone.

How did you see that its september security update when you can clear see in the changelog its still august security patch?

Because i know the months of the year. If i am in august security patch and i get and update that says -security patch update... What comes after august???

and you know read? if yes, try again read info on your screenshot, is here (~translated)"Google Security Update 2018-8" and 8 is august right?
anyway "Security Update" not necessarily mean "Google Security Update"... simply you have some as "early semptember OTA update with SecurityUpdate keep from august", is better if Nokia send OTA more that one/month if have fixes for Security, Stability, etc... i think in this month come second OTA with Google Security Update 2018-9..

It is a minor update - a stability update as they call it.
Phone feels much smother after the update.

Hi, I purchased this phone only last week, and I wanted to update it straight away, but it dowsn't find any updates, either for the security patch or the pie update. ATM I have security patch february 2018 and Oreo 8.0.0. The icon of the security patch is orange with an exclamation mark in the middle, so I believe I should update it. What do I do?

I have heard that the OTA update servers are down at the moment for N 7+ ... Its been a week though.

HMD are getting worse on the updates, only got the Oct update mid Nov and it is now only 3 weeks to Christmas. Before we know it, it will be 2019 and still no Pie

Tried thst, renamed file as per post and started installation but got Installation failure error. Am currently on Oreo 8.1 with Oct security patch so maybe that is the reason the update will not install.
Currently downloading the just released second version of MIUI 11 global version for RN7. From Lagos, Nigeria.
Any interesting changes? The changelog seems pretty vague.
I just went ahead with the update. Still on Android Pie, and I can't see any major changes
Is this update where they remove call recording?. My buddy had his RN7 die in him the other day out of the blue. He is still working on service center to tell him what happened. Need to ask him did he install any updates recently.
Suddenly a notification popped up for downloading update for Android 10 based MIUI 11.0.1.0 on evening of 23rd August 2020. Pls see screenshot for more details about this update. There is nothing much visual changes, everything is MIUI based. Download size was 2.1 GB.
