Hi, I'm running GB V2.0. My problem is that my phone isn't playing videos on YouTube app or on browser. It does play them from time to time but it seems like after 10mins it stops and the videos don't play. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hello
I'm newbie to Rom flashing i have flashed my Galaxy S i9000 to Cyagnomod 9.1 stable . Everything looks good except the video playback.
Whenever i try to play video screen flickers on Hardware accelration on mxplpayer or Dice player . This problem mostly faced when playing the mp4 videos .Most of the .avi files play fine on mxplayer.
Is there any way to get the hardware acceleration to play .mp4 video in Cyagnomod.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S Advance i9070. Off late if I try playing videos one after the other the screen starts to flicker. The first video plays fine, flickering starts when i play the second video, then I have to bring up Task Manager and clear the memory. This happens only while playing videos, I tried the VLC player also but result is the same. 90% of system resources are free so it can’t be a lack of system resources that’s causing this. Is it a hardware issue, I re installed the stock ROM but even then same result.
I have this problem too but it seldom happens.

In my case ti happens every time I play a video, no exceptions.
Which player are you using to view the videos?
People say I'm crazy, but the voices in my head say I'm just fine.

i get this problem upon "ROTATION" (ie, orientation change) while playing videos in the youtube app, or playing html5 videos in the default browser app
Any video I try to watch that is at 60fps freezes after 1 second of playback. On youtube and in my gallery. Any clues on how to fix it? Running 5.1.1 slimlp
I tried on stock, aicp, ressurectionremix, and 60fps videos still wont play.
I think I found out why. I used mx player and tried the sw decoder and the videos play.
How can I make Android use a sw decoder instead?
