Hello Everyone.
I'm new to the forum and this is my first post, although have been reading and applying a lot of knowledge you guys have! the forum is great!
Anyway, I have an unlocked HTC TyTN II, everything worked fine and I overall very satisfied with the device...
I made a foolish thing! I installed the "Wefi" utility and after playing with it for a little while, I didn't like the thing.. so, I decided to uninstall it.. however, now I find that my kaiser cannot longer connect automatically to my wireless networks after resume.. Now I only get the notification that it has found available wireless networks and, even though I chose not to show the message anymore, it does it every time, and when it does not, the phone doesn't connect to my WiFi.. so I need to do it manually... which is very annoying..
I already restored original registry keys under HLM\Comm\TNETW12511\Parms with no luck so far...
What can I do?... I'm still on the original WM 6.0, have not loaded any ROM changes yet..
Your help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks!
Oscar
Fix for auto connect problem after removing WeFi
My name is Galia Finkelstein and I work at the support desk at WeFi. This doesn't happen anymore on the new version that's been released so for the older version we have a version fix for the problem with the automatic connection, just run this file and you should be good to go http://wefi.com/static/RestoreZCAutoConnect.exe
If I can assist with anything else please drop me a line at [email protected].
WeFi post-uninstall problems
Hi!
I am sufferring from the same problems as "obadillo" - see above.
I downloaded and installed the latest version of WeFi, but after a couple of days of use, I found that I didn't like it, and it also took up too much of my valuable "today" screen space.
After uninstalling, I found that firstly, all my previous wi-fi settings had been lost (WEP keys for my home network, my work network etc etc), and secondly, even after re-enterring these details, my device (HTC Touch UK Version - Orange UK) - (running WM6 Pro) refused to auto-connect when I switch the WiFi on.
After reading the reply from Galia (directly above my post), I downloaded and ran the executable, but found that it made no difference.
Any ideas anyone? I did email Wefi's support email address, but as yet have received no reply.
Thanks in advance!
I have also tried this fix with no success (running WM5). I have also sent an email to wefi support. No response. I would recommend you stay away from this software.
We-Fi Latest Version
I have found a (kind of) solution! I have installed the latest version of We-Fi (downloaded from their website), and then DEselected it in my Today programs. So even though its not in use, its wifi parameters still overrule the PPCs local params. This seems to allow me to switch on and off WiFi WITHOUT using the WeFi software, and it now autoconnects, even with the several wireless networks I have stored, whenever I switch WiFi on, it may take a few seconds to connect, but it now does every time.
Not the greatest "solution", but at least the problem is partially solved.
But as the good man above says, unless you're VERY sure you want to install WeFi, do not install, because you will lose ALL preexisiting WiFi connections and settings etc..
Have a good one!

Hello again, XDA devs!
I also had the problem and I'm struggling with Amir, some guy from the WeFi staff, to get the problem solved or at least recognized.
I left a complete description on my blog with links to people having problems. Here's the article (without links):
Before you consider installing WeFi on your Windows Mobile device, you might want to read this cautiously and save yourself some problems.
If you have not yet tried it, you're not missing much. Although promising, the app takes over your device. It controls your today screen, messes up your wi-fi parameters and some rarer stability issues were also reported.
First, the app needs .Net CF v.2.0, something that takes space and puts more useless crap on your device. Then the app doesn't just find networks and connect to them. Instead it overrides your wi-fi parameters and inserts its own code, thus the uninstallation problems. WeFi also takes a lot of your today screen's estate for basically nothing. How much screen space? Take a look.
Upon uninstalling it, many noticed their devices stopped automatically connecting to wireless networks, among other, rarer problems. The only known fix to the problem is to hard-reset your device and to stay the **** away from this app. We also saw a link to a .exe file somewhere but no one left feedback about it so we assume it's just as good as WeFi. You might also reinstall it, hide it and use it to take care of the wi-fi stuff or go in Settings>Connections>Wi-Fi everytime to select a network to connect to.
The developers were quick to comment about the problem and said they are working on it (see the first comment to this post). However their product page doesn't mention the problem yet and people still get caught. I left them feedback about *some* of the concerned device, assuming it's not all of them, hoping for a change. Feel free to do the same and put some pressure on these guys too.
You might also read one of those threads and see for yourself.

I'm trying to get the warning to reach all the download spots, if you guys feel like helping. This is just unacceptable, let's do something about it!
Haim head of WeFi Windows Mobile development team here
Hello all,
First, let me assure you all that we are doing our best to solve any user problem as quickly as possible.
Out of the thousands of mobile users we have, there are really only a few users who complained about this problem.
We released a fix that you can find in: http://www.wefi.com/download/client/RestoreZCAutoConnect.exe
which after executing and doing soft reset should solve the problem.
As our support team explained to “primemaps” via e-mails (sent in 08/07) this fix only works if you uninstall WeFi first.
What you are all describing is that ZeroConfig stopped auto connecting.
By avoiding the manipulation of ZeroConfig default timeouts in our next version (which should be released in about 2 weeks from now), this should not happen anymore.
If this does not help you or you have encountered any other problem – please send me an email to [email protected] and I promise a fast response,
it would help if you mentioned your WeFi version, Device model and ActiveSync version.
I hope you would all choose to install our next version and enjoy the many benefits it can bring you.
Haim
Can't work with it and can't work without it
With my HTC TyTN II I had similar problems as others have described, or maybe even worse: I could no longer work to any wireless networks. It would disconnect in less than one second every time.
I did a hard reset and that didn't work!
I also tried the "fix" the WeFi representative suggested but that didn't help at all either.
What finally helped me was Namwollem's solution: Install WeFi again and removed it from the Today screen (but kept it installed).
I can't help wonder if WeFi changes something in the ROM since a hard reset didn't even fix it.
One of these days I will have to install the ROM all over and see if it makes a difference, but I wish I could avoid that!
I hope others won't be stupid like me and install this #$%[email protected]#&$ software!
Nothing helps for my Diamond to restore Wifi signal
I have Htc diamond with newest Rom downloaded from htc.com.
My problem is that since i installed aplication WEFI(older version) and uninstalled it, i cannot see ANY available wifi networks.. I tried alot of things. I tried soft reset, hard reset, i installed WEFI (newest version) , in moments wifi works and shows available networks and i can connect, but after it doesnt work again.. I would say it shows networks only ocasionally(even if im always surrounded by at least 10 hotspots). I installed newest Rom again, i installed old official ROM, i always put mamximum performance instead of battery, and still i have no results/cannot see ANY available networks). I have a feeling like i really have a hardware problem with wifi now..But again i think whatever it is its caused by this aplication WEFI. Does anylone have any ideas? i saw some Rafael radio ROM , maybe i can try to install that?
Thanks
AArrrggghh!
This god-awful program rears its ugly head again! I have solved the problem totally now by getting a new handset!! Now I have my Touch HD (Blackstone), one thing I WILL NOT do is install this garbage!! A quick search thru the forums here will reveal a small and very useful program which will with one click switch-on WiFi (and auto connect to the signal it finds if stored in your preferred networks) and with another click will switch WiFi off! Its called AKWifiToggle, and while no where near as fancy as WeFi, IT WORKS and DOESN'T MUCK UP YOUR PHONE!!!
Hi everybody, new to the forums and new to droid - I recently upgraded from the Propel to the Captivate and so far I am loving it. With all the reviews and forums I read before deciding to buy most of my answers have been answered, but not all.
My phone was loaded with 2.2 and when I registered it with Samsung it showed a build date of feb/11 so I'm hoping that my phone has alot of the big fixes already loaded. I have noticed that the gps code listed on this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=732030
Does not work on my phone, I enter *#*#1472365#*# and the last * just clears the code out of my dialer... no sub-menu, no options, nothing. Any ideas how to do gps testing?
Other question, I spend alot of time off the cell network and I need a gps that works - which app would be good to use? Searching the app store there is quite a few ranging in price, most seem to have mixed reviews. Google does nothing for me since it needs the network to pull up the maps. Basically when I load up the gps it shows me in a sea of nothingness and trying to scroll the map gives me an error 'need network connection' type of message.
Also, I've noticed what looks like 2 small led's one the face of my phone, just to the left of the speaker and the ugly logo. Are these notification leds or something else?
I don't plan on rooting or flashing my phone for a while... yes yes I know, stock sucks, but like I said I was using the Samsung Propel a couple days ago and now the Captivate - I've got alot to learn and alot to get used to before I switch things around. Yes, one day I do want to switch off of stock software just not right now, thanks for the suggestion though. lol

As for needing a GPS on without using Data there are a few but to be honest if you need it for reliable GPS, then you got the wrong device. The captivate is known for having terrible GPS and it is unrelible at best. Good enough to help you learn a new town but not good enough to get you where you need to go on time everytime. The led are the light sensors. No led Notifications with the captivte at all unless you rom a custom rom and get BLN from the app store that will light up your 4 bottom keys when you have a message.
I do have a stand alone gps, I was just hoping I'd be able to free up some pocket space with the phone - so far, it just shows a blank screen with a blue indicator and says it's accurate 'within 10 meters'. I was hoping I could find a app that provided maps and maybe help tune it a bit. Next time I'm on the network I'll play around with it and see what kind of readings it gives - even if the gps is low end, I'm still liking this phone so far... a whole lot better than the propel.
Thanks for the update, zelendel

One is a proximity sensor and one is a light sensor.
Thanks for the info, I got a couple gps test apps I'm going to mess around with in a while but, I found a new problem that is driving me crazy...
I bought a usb wifi adapter - Asus n13 (b/g/n), in the hopes of using my internet for data and my phone will not connect to wifi. Even driving around town to places that offer free open wifi, my phone will not connect. It finds the wifi hotspots, pulls up the ssid, says connecting, then gets to 'assigning ip' and freezes. On my pc wifi setup, it shows a new connection and 2 seconds later disconnect.
In the phone wifi settings, it keeps showing wifi -connecting....disconnected, back to scanning, connecting in an endless loop - but it never connects. It has the ssid remembered but I cannot delete it or reset it. WPS failed to connect from either end.
Sleep Policy is off
Use Static IP is off
This is a big issue for me since I'm on the cheap att data plan.. I've tried various settings on the pc side of things, all with the same results, I've browsed the internet and done a bit of troubleshooting (ie, different usb ports, different drivers, turning on/off services, etc etc) - I think the problem is on the phone since it does not access any wifi... maybe I missed a setting somewhere?
For now I'm going to dig through the user manual again...
OK, playing around with some of windows wireless settings I've hit a new roadblock... my phone says connecting... Obtaining IP address... Disconnecting... Scanning...
That is one small step closer I think, because it wasnt trying to get an ip address earlier, it was just connecting/disconnecting.
finally! I figured it out!!!
Just for future note.... You have to go into your windows network settings, highlight your broadband AND wifi together - select bridge... restart your pc wifi software and then connect your phone, it should start right up!

You say you do not want to root the phone. But try Launcher Pro anyways to access the LbsTestMode.
1. Sign up/in to the market.
2. Download and install Launcher Pro (it says Pro but there is a FREE version, so dont worry).
3. After install, go to home screen. Long press and choose "Shortcuts"
4. In menu, choose "Activities" (yellow icon).
5. Scroll down and expand the menu "LbsTestMode". Under this is a submenu. Choose the first "LbsTestMode" under this. Yes the main menu and submenu have same name.
6. Choose Ok or whatever, and the icon will be on your Home screen.
7. If you get this far, then you are good.
Open LbstestMode:
1. At the moment you probably should just leave Application Settings to default.
2. Under "Supl/CP settings". And change as follows:
Server: supl.google.com (no "www.")
Server Port: 7276
Secure Socket: OFF
AGPS Mode : SUPL
3. Return to previous menu.
4. DELETE GPS DATA just to clear all previous data.
5. Run "Get Position Test" on top of menu.....
Good Luck !!

Yeah, Google Maps requires a network connection.....BUT when you go into Navigation mode - via the Directions menu and turning on navigation, you get navigation. YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD VOICE SYNTHESIS from the market to get voice guidance. This a good first try, IF YOUR GPS WORKS !!
Or try NAVIGON for Android ....you can buy it but also check here www.mobilism.org (ahem..ahem). I use daily, and I think it is the best routing....
EDIT: Well...about google maps, I think you need a data connection jsut to open the damn software, so you will need Navigon, Igo primo or similar...I AM ASSUMING YOU WANT ROUTING DIRECTIONS and not hiking type positioning. Then take a look at this http://www.backcountrynavigator.com/content/android-gps-software AND here http://www.backcountrynavigator.com/
Thanks again for the updates, but it seems like either Samsung or ATT has locked out the Lbs Test mode feature, both of the codes have the same result - after entering the last character it clears it out. I did get LauncherPro and am really digging it so far, but even the lbs tests dont do anything, it goes to a blank screen and just sits there... I have the status bar at the top and a totally blank screen. I even set my phone down on a box out in the yard for 30+ minutes and nothing ever came up - using the google and stock settings for the test. I'm guessing if/when I root my phone the tests will work
I started using GPS Test from Chartcross Limited and GPS Status from EclipSim - both show that my gps is accurate between 16.4 and 32.8 feet - depending on which the way the wind is blowing. I've been browsing some of the other gps/map apps but for now I'll just carry around my standard gps when I need it.
Even with the gps issues, I'm really liking this phone alot. I havent really ran into any other problems yet
Hi All,
I'm in the UK and have a US version P7310 wifi only (Samsung refurb bought off ebay)
Up until the ICS update 3 days ago it was in my opinion an awesome piece of kit
however, since the update, my wifi connection (or data transfer) is down at least 70% to what it was on HC 3.2
I am NOT losing the connection to the router, it is the data transfer that is down!
Many times I get the page is not available try later link might be down or if the page does load most of the data many images do not!
Repeated refreshes seem to have no affect! It was super fast before the update!
I have rebooted and still nothing, so I feel it is an issue in the tab rather than any other kit I have at the moment?
I have a wifi laptop and other android device and they perform as before on wifi so it's not the router!
I have also put the tab next to the router and it has made no difference!
I have searched the settings in the tab for anything obvious like load images or choke the bandwidth or whatever
and have turned many things on and off without success! I use the standard browser and the dolphin browser and both
act the same!
The tab has never been routed, it came with HC3.1 then I updated over the air to HC3.2 and then to ICS4.04
I know there is a folder for wifi in the settings and wondered if there was anything I could change to see if it improves anything?
Or has anyone else found their wifi is poor?
The 70% was accurate, not exaggeration, so much so that the tab is unusable for me like this!
I know it is early days for the ICS and the 8.9 world but would REALLY appreciate some advice for things to try please?
Kind regards
PS loved the noob video
Is it possible to go back to 3.2? I I restore factory settings it shall go to 3.1 and I assume 4.04? Would it go to 3.2 first?
Hmm...
Well, the support thread for the official ICS update has no mention of such issues.
Doing a factory reset will only reset the current ICS 4.0.4 to its default settings and will not revert the tablet to Honeycomb 3.1 or 3.2.
To downgrade, you should attempt through Kies, though I am not sure it offers the feature.
What I am certain of is that you can downgrade to 3.2 fairly easily by manually flashing a 3.2 firmware release.
You can download an official Honeycomb 3.2 United Kingdom release for the P7310 HERE
If you have no idea how to flash it through ODIN, please download this .zip archive that holds all the necessary tools. Then refer to THIS thread (where the archive came from) and read the short instructions on using ODIN in the How-to Section, last topic named "Using ODIN 1.85".
If you proceed to downgrade, consider to load the provided .pit file in ODIN 1.85's folder and checking "Repartition" in the program. Clicking Start with the .pit file loaded will wipe all data from your device, including everything that resides on the SD card.
After successfully downgrading to Honeycomb 3.2, you can attempt the ICS upgrade once again, but make sure to execute a factory reset from within Honeycomb's settings (or through recovery mode) on your device, before doing the update.
If the Wi-Fi issues continue within ICS, I am afraid I am short of knowledge to help track down the issue.
Good luck.
Solution?
Hi.
Maybe this will work for you: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1846766
strange
I doubt this is related to the 5ghz issue (that has different symptoms = not being able to connect).
Did you go to ICS using Odin, Kies or OTA?
Have you tried flashing the Stock ICS through Odin?
Have you tried doing a full data wipe? (reset to Stock)?
If you need to keep your app data, then save it with something like Titanium Backup (or make a Nandroid backup so you can return to current state, after experimenting)
What is your router? anything "exotic" about your WLAN settings?

Not different symptoms. Equal symptoms. nakedninja42 was referring to the 5GHz band in his post,

but did not say that he couldn't connect at all. And thus it makes sense to try it. Especially since Bananajet writes
that he doesn't lose connection - only speed (transfer).
Connection
Gentlemen,
thank you for your concise replies! To answer the points I think worth noting!
I downloaded OTA using the tabs own system (the 300mb file) it updated ok!
I did notice that I had to download 3 times as each previous one did fully download but didnt do anything!
On these downloads, I did not have the charger plugged in but had approximately 75+% of battery!
When I did do it the third time with charger plugged in, it updated as you would expect!
Strangely the tab has improved today and I would say 95% of clicks to a website or a refresh have performed as usual!
However (using dolphin browser) with one site open and a new tab for another, it would again not load all the images on the second page
but did NOT give me the page down link like the day before!
I would say it was a bad day for my wifi BUT the other bits of kit I use ALL performed as usual when the tab didnt
so I am still unsure of the problem? I did consider that the other bits of kit (nokia phone, Android Phone and a Laptop)
although NOT actively connecting to anything to download except being on whatsapp might be bullying the tab out
but I tried turning them off and it didnt change anything!
So I think I shall watch what happens and report back and see if anyone else mentions poor transfers?
By this I mean I REMAIN connected to the router and im NOT sure of the actual transfer rates BUT its like
the connection stops half way when the page loads (link down or photos half loaded) and no amount of refresh makes them reload
until such a time (usually 5 mins) that it does! This then does NOT start working normally (fast loading) but usually repeats itself
and doesnt load again! I do feel that any sites with mainly text and mininal graphics did load ok giving the impression
of a burst of power and then giving up hallf way if there was too much to load (my words, not one from a tech manual haha)
So just to say, the tab is working much better but not perfect! Shall report again when have more hours online!
Thank you again for your help
Kind regards
Bananajet
Update
Gentlemen (and any ladies)
after a few weeks using ICS 4 here are my findings! If anyone can help I would be very grateful as right now, the frustration doesnt compare!
I also realise my original title was slightly misleading, please note I NEVER lose connection to the router, it is the data that seems to
be choked! Almost like the tab only allows a bit through at a time and if there is a load to come through (images or streaming television), it chokes it and very little gets through? Interesting though I dont seem to have any issues wastching youtube much!
To recap, p7310 8.9 wifi version which was a refurb from the US direct from Samsung! Im in the UK! Originally came with HC3.1
I downloaded 3.2 straight away and have done nothing to this machine to alter what came out of the box!
I was very very happy with it and 3.2! Of course, as everyone else, was excited to get ICS 4.04
Downloaded ICS OTA with the update on the tab
I have noticed nothing for my type of usage much difference in ICS apart from possibly better battery but battery was ok anyway!
Back to my problem!
Web pages which contain any amount of thumbnails which might change (alter their positon on the page) when requested as a new page or refreshed very rarely load all of the images! It might load about 5-10% of them when the problem exists which is about 75% of the time! Also streaming live television is very poor to connect although when connected, it works perfectly!
On 3.2 even in my garden I could load web pages that were graphic intensive (nothing extreme, just were there might be mulitple thumbnails etc)
they would load as quick as you would want, reloads, new pages, browsing etc all worked perfectly and streaming television too!
I use the stock browser and one called dolphin
On ICS I would say about 75% of the time, any pages as mentioned above do not load all of the images, only probably about 10% of the images would load, the reast would have place marks showing where the other images should go! It would then stop! Any amount of recycle does not improve it until such time (can be a minute, can be 5 minutes)! The other 25% it works basically as it should, quite fast and normal!
One other issue is IF it is working correctly and I try and load a new tab or page in the background then the new page is highly unlikey to load correctly with any images it might want to display! Like "You cant have both mate" haha
On 3.2 any streaming video or television was perfect, fast and never failed! On ICS it has a 80% failure first time and requires usually 3-4 recyles to 'hook it'! Once it is in, it stays in and works well! If I try and change channel or view something else, it reverts to failure again!
I have changed no settings on router, changed nothing about anything! All other items in the house that might use wifi still perform as before!
The change in the quality happend immediately after ICS download.
This issue has left what was a fantastic bit of kit very frustrating to use and almost unusable!
I would really like to go back to 3.2 if I can but am unsure how easy this is although I do understand that was mentioned in an earlier post
I cannot try the 5ghz method as it is not rooted and to be honest, I am in the UK and that issue is regarding the US networks! My ccode says GB and not ALL btw.
To summarise, it seems that any new or data that requires a lot of refreshing rather than drawing from a cache doesnt want to load?
Any advice would be very helpful,
thank you all again.
Bananajet
Perhaps to do with the wifi channel used by router? Try to use channel 1 (or 6 or 11, avoid higher)
Try an app that gives WiFi diagnostics, like WiFi Analyzer.
Alternatively, reflash any other stock HC or ICS Rom through Odin... You might lose data (downloaded apps, settings, ...) along the way though (not sure, depends on exact approach, etc)
Have you try to test the speed connection wit your tab? I try whit speedtest.net in that site you can find the version for mobile, download it and try, just to see if it is a problem related whit your browser or with you wifi drivers
hope it could help
PS. you can find the app in play store too (same name)
This was posted in other Nokia phone forums before but I thought I would put one here based on information I've obtained myself.
Tested by myself on a TA-1060. Should work with other models but I'm not guaranteeing it.
I claim no responsibility for anything that might happen to your device if you update. Updating with modified boot (Magisk/custom kernel) or custom recovery (TWRP) may render your device unusable until you flash stock firmware.
Some of these steps might not be needed, they are simply what worked for me. Feel free to optimize the list if you want.
First of all, check for updates. If it's available in your country congrats you don't need to do anything.
If not:
Remove all SIM cards from your device. This is important because the device will get country information from SIM if one is present.
Download a free VPN app (ExpressVPN and ProtonVPN are good ones I recommend). I personally used ProtonVPN.
If your VPN app has a setting to block internet until the VPN connects, enable that. Also enable connecting on startup if you can. If not, remember to turn the VPN on as the first thing you do after booting later.
Setup your VPN so it will connect to a country that the update has rolled out to. I used India, some other countries like Netherlands may also work.
Disable WiFi.
Go to Settings and delete App Data from the following apps:
Google Play Services
Google Services Framework (Enable "Show system" on the menu)
Software Update
Reboot your device.
Connect to WiFi and make sure your VPN is connected as soon as possible.
Check for updates.
If it all worked, you should be offered the Pie 9.0 update and can install it as normal.
Do not insert your SIM until the update has completed or it may cancel it. Once you've booted into Pie successfully, you can reinsert your SIM card.
Thx for the info.
Does Pie improve performances in your experience? Otherwise, I don't wanna bother.

Yes, Pie includes performance optimizations which cause the system to be a lot snappier and to perform better. Obviously it won't perform any miracles (This device is limited by its hardware after all), but from my personal experience there was a noticeable improvement.
Keep in mind that just after the update it will still be doing things in the background, takes a few minutes for it to settle afterwards.
Thanks you! It worked for me, i live in Italy and today i did the upgrde to Android 10 go edition. Sorry for my bad english, i'm only 13. Bye
Is the Mediatek chipset inside this thing really that bad? On paper, this phone seems to have more or less the same hardware as the very first Moto G. However, the OG Moto G was usable as a daily driver ( It was the first ever usable budget Android), this one is not.
Software has always been the weak point of HMD. I wish the custom ROM community was still as active as it used to be in the past. Imagine how awesome it would have been if we could cook up some light KitKat ROM for this thing.
I downloaded the 12.5 version while testing out some other ROMs since I like using MIUI unlike many people and I know Xiaomi would not full fill their global update promise for mi8 since its been like a year after they announced that 12.5 would come for mi8 as the last update. Only problem I have with it is the fact that I need to go into wifi settings and pick the wifi I want to connect for it to connect it, every god damn time. Then it says there is no internet connection and if I want to keep it or not and I say keep it then it starts functioning like it should. I don't understand why it keeps saying "there is no internet connection" in a wifi network while obviously there is nothing wrong with the wifi itself. In the original MIUI 12 version it instantly connected to existing wifi networks when it entered their range, automatically without me having to open the wifi settings. I tried resetting wifi settings and opening and closing the auto connect option as it was recommended in some videos but nothing helped.
So at the end it doesn't connect wifi networks because it thinks there is no internet connection at them and keeps using mobile data until I manually force it to connect. I eventually got use to it after a month or so but it is still bugging me. The phone is rooted and I am using add away, which did cause other problems in the past so I am kinda suspicious of it. Spotify is kinda busted with this ROM and I get like 2 hours and a half hours of screen time while scrolling through reddit at most which is stupid but the general inconvenience of using this is not greater then going through the suffering of loading a new ROM and reinstalling all of the stuff so can anyone help me to make it a less suffering experience. My battery is new but it is old stock from 2018 so it is as **** as the one it had inside for 3 years since Xiaomi doesn't provide new ones like Apple and Samsung as much as I understand. I will not buy a new phone since technological improvements stopped 4 years ago except useless cameras which I never use because the sensor size is too small anyway and you can't beat physics no matter how much post progressing you apply in phone camera software. Sorry for the long rant, I just felt the need of writing that last part out of boredom.
