Hello,
I recently attempted upgrading my device from 5.1.1 to 7.1 G890AUCS7DRF2. The device successfully installed all 4 parts of the installation using Odin.

CSC_ATT_G890AATT7DRF2_CL12599862_QB18539350_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5
After the initial install I'm now having trouble with my Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. I'm not getting any sort of IP address under my Bluetooth tab.
Attempted troubleshooting:
-Attempted resetting Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in the settings of the cell phone.
-Also attempted clearing cache from recovery.
-Reset device completely to factory.
The only thing that pops up is my cellular data and that works fine. Anyone have any solutions to this issue? I'm unable to revert to 5.1.1.

Hello Folks -
Sorry for bugging you all on this but i'm out of options (other than a total wipe and restore).
Current Setup:
AT&T Nexus One
Cyanogenmod 5.0.7 N1
intersectRaven BFS 33.5
Anytime I start up WiFi tether, my PC detects the hotspot however it says the network is in Wireless-N. I can't connect to it or use it.
I've tried other Kernels, rolling back to stock cyanogenmod with no success.
What can I provide to help you all figure out what the issue is?
I'm stumped?
Guess i'll be wiping and reinstalling.
Just factory reset/wipe, wiped cache and dalvik.
Still no go. Flashed FroYo radio and Cyan-5.0.8-test5 and no go.
I tried Wireless Tether APK 2.0.0, 2.0.1 and 2.0.2 - no go.
I'm out of ideas.
No one has any troubleshoot ideas?
Maybe the hotspot that N1 creates is a wireless N network and if your network card don't support it you can't connect?
Hi. So, I just got a Samsung S3 GT-I9305 from Vodacom. Got it from eBay. But, I'm having trouble connecting to the wifi. Whenever I connect to the wifi it always says "Authentication error occurred". I turned off the wifi thingy using *#0011# and wiped the cache, I even reset the phone to its factory settings. I sometimes connect to a wifi, but it takes 1 hour or so before being connected. And I have trouble downloading from the playstore. Did everything I could find from the web. No luck.
So, I was thinking, If I would flash a custom rom to my device, will it fix the wifi issue? And would any stock firmware of the I9305 device work?
Thanks! Sorry for being noob.

Hi,
I think it could be a router issue. You should :
- reset your router and retry to connect with your i9305,
- play with WIFI network settings in router. Maybe something doesn't allow your i9305 connection (network type, firewall, etc.). I'm not an expert in router settings, so you could google this to help you.
- try another WIFI network (from a friend, at work, anywhere you can test )
I think that flashing a custom ROM won't change anything. First try to fix your problem with stock firmware.
I have a Verizon Note 9 that recently received the Pie update. Bluetooth has always been flawless while on Oreo with this device. Now after updating with the Verizon OTA Pie update, my bluetooth pairing disappears every time I reboot or shut down and restart. I have cleared the cache partition. I also cleared the bluetooth cache for good measure but this was unsuccessful. I have seen some rumblings about this on Android Central but I have not seen any solutions. Anyone else seeing this here? Has anyone found any workarounds to this bug? I have not factory reset my device yet.
Thanks in advance.

Over on reddit someone replied to a similar post with a recommendation to reset network connections. This wipes out all Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings. I did this and it seems to have helped for now.
Edit: The auto restart was scheduled for the weekend and my bluetooth devices were wiped out again after the restart.
Hello I had the same issues with Bluetooth devices being removed from pairings. I did the network reset and manually restarted phone with no issues but with Auto Restart it was back with the same issues.
From what I think it is, the auto Restart might be the issue for this problem.

I have never used the auto-restart feature before. All my bluetooth devices are gone after EVERY reboot. So very frustrating. I have even factory reset the entire device and set up from scratch 2x now. Problem persisted
Tonight after the CSC2 update (March 1st security patch) it finally seems to be fixed! :good:
Bluetooth pairings wiped after reboot
Hi, I have a Note 9 N960N Korean model rooted with magisk and EdXposed framework installed, and I had the same issue, after each reboot my Bluetooth pairings are all wipes out... Like Blackout, I installed the libsecure_storage from Magisk repo and it worked ?.
Thanks!
But i Tried to install with magisk module manager, but says failed not a magisk module.
This is the file I downloaded this from gethub
libsecure_storage-libsecure_storage-v2.0.zip
Hi,
i am currently running the latest stock rom on my Lg g6 (H870) with TWRP and Magisk installed.
Today i flashed the newest Magisk version. All went fine, but now i am not able to connect to any Wifi-Network anymore (mobile data is working).
It seems like all my Wifi passwords got deleted too. Anyway i can't even connect to open networks.
No matter what i do, every time i try to connect to a network it says "No network connection available" ("Keine Netzwerkverbindung verfügbar" in german).
It did not help to reinstall Magisk and TWRP. I also tried the two fixes described here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-wifi-fix-repair-broken-wifi-t3384249
but with no result.
I don't want to reset my phone...
Maybe you can help me. Any Ideas?
Thanks in advance
Hi there,
I still want to use my old Thor HDX7, but the Wifi is broken.
I can use Internet via bluetooth (tethtering), but not via Wifi.
My problem:
I have installed CM/Lineage 14 with Android 7.1
I have also tried installing several version of Gapps.
Installation run successfully, but there are no Google Apps after restarting from recovery.
I suppose the problem is, that I cannot enter Google Account after factory reset (as I cannot estalbish wifi conection)
During initial setup I cannot estabish internet connection, as I cannot choose Bluetooth tethering connection.
Does anyone have any idea how to use Gapps in this situation?
thank you
