How to acces the IMEI of a locked (pin) phone (huawei P30) - Huawei P30 Pro Questions & Answers

Detail at the botom
-Is it possible to acces the IMEI of a locked (pin number) phone without wiping it (physically or with a computer) when the SIM tray is lost
-Would a phone connect to a new sim card without loging the pin number and if so, is there a way to sand a message to the owner of the phone that way? (automatic picture entering wrong pin number?)
thanks!
I found a huawei P30 in the snow, still working, sim card tray was absent. The phone is locked with a pin number and won't connect to free wifi so the owner as no way to communicate/locate the phone. I tried to post of local facebook, called huawei to help locate him, but nothing worked so far. I think i will have to wipe the phone to get the IMEI and then see with phone enterprise if they can send a message to the owner but ideally i would return the phone with all is data....
So i was wondering if there is a way to aces the IMEI number. physically or with the help of a computer or alternatively, if by putting another sim card in the phone, the owner would receive a notification with the picture of the person holding the phone (which i could do with contact info) or something of the like.
thanks all!

How can i hack my Sony Xperia LT30p.
It have a Simlock from German o2
The phone was restart when i turn the simcard in the phone.
The phone does not recognize simcard
It would always abschlaten after 15 minutes
The phone is rooted and the bootloader is now unlocked also
Were can help me?
in order to sim unlock you wil have to use a paid for service. You can google it.
I never seen a method to sim unlock an xperia device on xda forum.
Or you can ask your carrier to unlock it, but they may want a payment or just say no anyway.
How am I supposed to then enter a pin, if not even more then the phone asks.
If I is the inlay, the phone simcard simcard inserted the message and restarts.
When it is restarted is not even a message or possibility to enter any pin

Hi there.
I hope you solved your problem. I had the same one. After all rooting it and unlocking all that can be unlocked, when i turn it on, i get the message: "Your phone may have been damage during transportation"="votre téléphone a peut être été endomagé durant le transport" and "your phone will power off in 15 minutes"="Votre téléphone s'éteindra dans 15 minutes".
My phone was Lock free. The problem as i found it was in the sim tray/flex. The little pins in contact with the sim card did't touch it. So there was no sim card recognition. Using a needle i pushed one pin (the one that was flattened) from under the middle it while holding it from the end above to get it to bend enough to touch the sim card but not so far to break it. I don't know if i explained my self well but try to make it look like a good pin on a working phone
Any way, you should try *#*#7378423#*#* to get Sim lock status in the menu: Service info -> SimLock.
It worked.
PS: If any one has the same pb with SIM card not being detected (and no other locks) please respond to this thread with the message about the phone shutting down in 15minutes in your own language so people can find it via search. I hope this can help some people out there as i read about many cases (used or new phone).

I9295 Emergency calls only

Hello friends! I've gotten this s4 Active from a relative. Phone worked well with him. When I got the phone, I inserted my SIM Card, it kept saying "Emergency calls only" My card works with other devices, my old phone as well. I can't connect to the network
Hello. Can you ask your relative if it was locked to carrier? If not, then you need to unlock it using a code. And, can you lookfor an IMEI or a baseband version in the settings?
What is being locked to carrier? How can I learn if it is? All I know is he formatted the phone and sent it to me. Also my IMEI and Baseband is not empty
Here in the Philippines, people would choose among the networks of SUN, SMART and Globe. If I have a postpaid plan under e.g SUN, then the given phone would be 'network locked' under it, then the only time that it would be 'unlocked' is if I have exceeded their lock-in period which is usually 24 or 30 months. In the case that the person would like to insert a SIM Card from Globe then they need a code to unlock. Does your phone ask for a network lock code or something? Could you post a pic?
I can't take a pic. Well, phone says emergency calls only, but I have "SIM Menu" in my menu. And when I try to call, it says "Not connected to a network"

*#06# will display IMEI
Valid numbers start with 35*******
Lost/defect start with 0409*****
If IMEI is lost there is a high possibility that /efs partition has been formatted.
A bit sloppy cleaning IMHO thinking of relatives formatting going to deep [emoji17]
A flash of Samsung complete stock firmware + factory reset may restore IMEI.
If factory reset is not your piece of cake a flash of correct version modem.bin +non-hlos.bin might be enough.
Do spend valuable time and read/learn how to flash in General section.
My IMEI starts with 35****
Any idea?

I need help reactivating my SIM which mysteriously stopped working

Hi I am in need of some help. I will try to give as much detail as possible.
I was talking on the phone 3 days ago and suddenly my call was cut short. The signal icon at the top was greyed out and it had a little x in the bottom. I tried to figure out what happened and at first I thought the cell tower went down because I was unable to connect to 2g, 3g, LTE/4g, nothing.
Next day with my father visiting my house, I tried his phone, put in my SIM, it works, there is signal (nothing greyed out) and I see the name of the phone service at the top left "Personal". His phone with his SIM works as well. Cell towers are working fine. I put my SIM back in my phone, no signal, not able to make phone calls or receive text messages.
At this time WIFI, Whatsapp, the phone itself works. I double checked APN settings from the carriers website, everything matched. I tried rebooting the phone, reseating the chip, selecting towers automatically, manually, and read many many discussions on the web none of which helped. I decided to do a factory reset. Backed up all photos to the computer and proceeded to reset it to factory new. Put in the SIM and same problem. Oh I also in the meantime have spoken with my service provider and they do not see anything wrong on their end.
So now I proceed to restore the phone from a backup on my MI account, all apps restored. Now I try to use Whatsapp and it wants to confirm my account with a text message, that is a problem because I can't receive text messages. I went to my service provider today, they put in a store SIM with a different number and it worked, they assumed I had a faulty SIM and gave me a new SIM with my number, same problem. Now I think it has something to do with XIaomi or MIUI or my MI account. I log into my MI account from my computer and try to add my email under security and it won't let me because it needs verify my account by sending a text message to my cell which of course is not working.
I am thinking of rooting the phone but I imagine I will somehow be blocked there too.
What happened to my phone?
Is my account being protected in some way MIUI, XIaomi or my MI account preventing me from activating my SIM?
Everything I try to do requires a confirmation text.
I want to root the phone but in order to do so I need to request that Xiaomi unlock the bootloader which will require a text message which of course is to be sent to my phone that wont connect to the cell tower.
Was I hacked or spoofed?
How do I go about fixing my situation?
Have you tried changing region and changing back to your country again? That may be possible reason.
For confirmation of code for bootloader unlocking, while applying put your sim card into other phone and that way you'll be able to get code and bootloader unlocked and can flash and try with different rom.
Similarly if your device is out of warranty then you may want to check with the antenna cable inside phone if that is got disconnected or got loosen. I don't if this would have happened or not but this could be issue. Process with precaution if you do so,I won't be responsible for anything.

Lost Galaxy Note 9 Japan Docomo OS. Is there a way to track the phone by IMEI number?

Hi There,
I have lost my Galaxy Note9 Docomo SC-01L in Taxi in Japan.
Usually the Lost phones are recovered by Police and carrier within 2 to 3 days.
However, my phone is missing for a week now and no sign of Switch On. (Find my phone shows the phone is switched off)
I have temporarily terminated my Sim card services. I am considering to activate the sim services just in case someone may charge the battery and switch on the phone so that, I can send messages to handover the phone or to get access to its live location.
My Phone has strong 6 digit pin and finger & face recognition security for unlocking the screen.
My question is, in case the phone is in custody of bad person,
1. would it be possible to to flash the phone with new IMEI number.
2. would it be possible for a bad person to access my personal and bank account / electronic(NFC) payment information?
3. What precautions I should Consider to secure the data and any remote assistance to actually locate the phone encase the sim card is changed.
4. Can I track the phone only from IMEI number if bad person crack the phone and use with wifi or changed sim card?
Thanks you very much for your help in advance for being able to recover my phone.
Hey there! Sorry to hear that. I have also got my stolen some weeks ago and it's surely the worst feeling.
Have you found your phone?
Here are the brief answers for your questions:
1.Yes. With the right tool and knowledge, unfortunately, IMEI can be changed. But it is illegal in most of the countries and difficult to do. Only pretty tech people/thieves have knowledge about such things.
2. If you haven't rooted your phone, bootloader is locked and phone is password locked, no one can access your data.
3. For lost phone, I don't think you can do anything remotely unless Find My Phone is connected. For future precautions, you can make use of Cerberus apps (I'm not associated with this app). What you can only do is put IMEI into track with the help of cops (you gotta plead them).
4. If the person connects to wifi only and doesn't enter SIM card, you can't track the phone with IMEI. Only if he inserts SIM card, old IMEI is not changed (which is quite unlikely) and IMEI is on track, cops can find your phone (if they want to).
Do acknowledge my post and please tell any other potential method you know which is helpful in finding lost phone. Have a great day

Sony SOG01 Simlock Or...(please read the thread)

Hi all. I hope someone can help me with my phone.
I have this phone and I have problems with it. The phone was bought from another person, not in a store.
It does not connect to the mobile network and cannot connect to the mobile internet.
It is fully operational, all functions work (except for the sim card), the phone connects to wifi and connects to the Internet. When connected to a computer, it is also completely determined.
You ask, "So what's the problem, take it to repair, they will replace the SIM card module and everything will be fine"
The problem is this. The SIM card is fully defined in the phone. When installing a sim card, a reboot is triggered, the operator is determined in the settings menu (I am from Russia, therefore my operator TELE2, the sim card was bought specifically in order to exclude the old generation of sim cards and also a possible simlock to my other operator), but when you click on the sim card menu, calls and SMS the buttons are grayed out with the caption "temporarily unavailable" (if necessary for understanding, I will change the language of the phone and provide all screenshots of the system) and they cannot be clicked.
Also, in the engineering menu, in the simlock button, opposite the Network subset inscription, there is the number 5 and it is marked with the letter X. This means, as far as I know, that there is a lock on a specific operator. But after a hard reset, the phone does not ask for any codes to enter.
This is my question, how can this be fixed?
Will flashing the phone to global rom help?
I gave the phone to a service center (not a Sony branded center, we don’t have one in our city), they told me that software setup was needed, but there was only a chance to restore the phone.
Maybe I need root access and find some file in my phone?
Please help me.
P.S. I don't have the best English, so sometimes I can't understand you, please don't get mad at me)
P.S.S. I created this topic in the questions section. I'm sorry if I had to go to the firmware section
