[Android 8] Official MiFavor UI 5.2 Beta ROM for Axon 7

Hello everyone. You can install lasest unreleased Android 8 beta stock rom to your Axon 7 by following this thread.
We have backed up the rom from sedoy87's phone.
Special thanks to the russian guy sedoy87 who is received the beta firmware on his device over ota .

Known bugs:
-Half of display is not working on some devices. Fixed on new version
-Fingerpring sensor. Fixed on new version
-Maybe undiscovered other stuff.
Download:

Instructions for installing in EDL mode:
- Install MiFlash. Driver will be installed automatically.
- Turn off your device. And make sure it doesn't connect to pc via usb cable.
- Plug your device to pc by pressing volume keys and power key at the same time.
- Your device should be enter EDL mode.
- Make sure you see to device as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008"
- Open MiFlash. Browse and choose folder you've downloaded.
- Click Refresh. You should see your device on list.
- Flash and wait until installation is done.
- You can turn on your device.
Instructions for getting radio on A2017G and A2017U:

Some guys reported there is no sound making a call on Android 8 with nougat modem.
So I have modded new oreo modem and now it compatible with A2017G and A2017U models.
The zips are flashable, you can install over twrp or you can unpack related zip and replace NON-HLOS.bin file with EDL rom's one before installion.

ZTE_A2017U_MODDED_MODEM_FOR_OREO_A2017V3.0.0B01-2_TURKDEVS.zip

Zte has released a new version with same build number. I couldn't see any bug on this build. Also kernel has upgraded 3.18.66 to 3.18.71 and It has a new Dolby UI.

The same thing happens to me after installing.
if you install the FASTBOOT_UNLOCK_EDL_N. The message is deleted but it does not start.
it also encrypts the phone.
Nor can you listen to who calls you.

You have to press the power button when that corruption message appears; then plug the phone into your PC after the Linux Penguin is displayed and it should eventually start booting into the ROM. Credit to @WesTD for the solution.

Sure thing...too buggy.
It's only a too premature, " never had to be leaked " ROM.
There's only one guy who received this "update" imo and too risky (relative ofcourse) to continue on this ROM.
So imo better to be on a stable rom as MF5.0 then on unstable MF5.2 oreo i guess AND wait for a FULL WORKING release by ZTE itself.

This ROM is are unuseful for now. There are too many bugs. No sound on calling on my U model.
I'll wait for Oreo on U devices. I think it will be better on MiFavor 4.2

Yes be rooted . Download a terminal emulator and setenforce 0. I cannot confirm it will fix but it should do.

Hello. I have a problem with the installation. The ROM is installed perfectly, without any error, but when I give to restart the phone does not start. It's stuck in the Sony logo.

TWRP Recovery Installation:
You should turn off Antivirus software
1. Before starting the process, the bootloader must be unlocked (bootloader unlock)
2. Install the Xiaomi USB drivers
3. Settings - Additional settings - Enable Usb debugging from the developer options.
4. Download the attached files.
5. Extract it from zip and copy it to C: directory (zip password: vutruonghainam)
6. Double click the file "残 芯 专用 TWRPRecovery 刷 入 工具 Win 版 V2.0 " in 1 file.
7. Select file TWRP you moved to C like step 1 in picture below.
8. Turn off your phone and put it into fastboot mode by holding down the volume down and power keys.
9. Connect your phone in fastboot mode to your computer.
10. Click on the flash button marked like step 2 in picture below.
11. Your phone will boot up in TWRP.
P/s: This TWRP is a one-time install. So after you have exiting TWRP, it will return to the original recovery. To make TWRP permanent, change the language to English from the language selection, you can use the TWRP / Advanced / Onekey Inject TWRP option.

You are free to build the ROM as you'd like it I'm pretty sure. Unless you want to donate money to the dev here, I don't think he really owes you anything. No offense. Just be more considerate.

Question Lineage 20 for Pixel 7 - Panther

Ok guys per request i will post my personal Pixel 7 lineage rom . Is update to december and it has the minimal gapps built inline . I will call it Beta but all i use daily is working for me . I know face unlock is not working because never add the commits . It wont pass the safety net unless rooted but again i dont use it , also all apps from play-store are working . Maybe will update maybe not will see . Cheetah is booting too but apps is force close and cant fix now because i dont got the device . So please dont ask a lot of questions ! Installing is simple , be on December , wipe factory default from recovery and fastboot update the name.zip .

I don't want to do a full wipe. It would be nice to have a ROM like the one from November, which you can simply install in recovery. Too bad it probably won't be available any time soon.

I appreciate the work! I've downloaded your updated build, bootloader is unlocked & ready to flash,,, Just not sure how to flash it (I'm good at following directions). I really haven't done much flashing since the Galaxy S5 & S6, and that was with Odin. I'm guessing with the Pixel 7 it's done with some fastboot commands and pretty simple, just don't know the procedure.

check the OEM unlock box on dev options, then reboot to fastboot

Bootloader is already unlocked. So just one command "fastboot -w update name_of_rom.zip" ? Do I need to factory reset before I boot or anything?

*EDIT" Just tap power & up keys for half a second. I was long pressing them.
How do I boot into recovery from fastboot? I can select " Recovery mode" but it boots a dead android and under it says "no command" . I'm just doing a dry run, I don't feel like bricking my phone. I'm stuck on step "8." of the link you sent.
