I was using rooted stock rom lex526. I installed shortcut master lite apk though play store. While browsing though secret code in it, I somehow messed up mbn test configurations .
Now I can only use 4g sim only in either sim slot. Other Vodafone sim is not detecting in any sim slot .
I tried flashing firmware through twrp by Rishabh Rao . But after 15℅ phone reboots. So I guess I can't flash firmware through twrp.
Then i get back to stock by flashing original stock rom , but still I can only use one 4g sim .
If anyone can please help me out . And guide me how make both sim working.
Thanks in advance.

Can you please explain more in detail how to flash baseband and modem .
I have stock rom downloaded from leeco official website as well as twrp back with firmware. Though I tried restoring backup but it doesn't change anything .
While searching for Network it shows 2g ,3g 4g ranges only if 4g Jio sim present , second sims simply not showing up at all.
Please check Google drive image attached in first post for more information.

Try following the post worked for me when I hard bricked my le 2, but be cautious and follow steps correctly
Went to fastboot
Fastboot erase modemst1
Fastboot erase modemst2
Reboot twice
And boom ..
Both sim showed up ..working normally.
Hello, since i flash Nougat Roms on my k3 i allways loose the imei.
I try to fix it with campheleon APP, but after this i loose the sim. Engineer mode is not possible. Can anyone help to fix this.
Thanks a lot

Since you know how to flash Rom, the first thing you do before flashing is to back up (Nandroid) of your Rom with atleast TWRP (especially the system, boot, pro info, Nvram, Protect etc) before flashing it's always there in the warning ⚠
If you did that just restore the Nvram, proinfo, protect partitions
Else, you'll have to try flash stuck Rom with SP flash tool (using firmware upgrade option under download)
Chamelophon could give you a temporary fix thou
Thank you sir.. but i want to get clarified about another thing..

If you flash stock Rom with SP flash tool and after that your imei is not restored without using Chamelophon app then you have a bigger problem. Chamelophon app modifications are cleared once there's a factory reset or system wipe - its not a permanent fix.
If after flashing your stock Rom with SP flash tool and your imei is not valid then you have to use imei write tool to write your imei (works only on mtk devices)
Then use TWRP recovery to backup your Nvram and restore it anytime you flash nougat Roms.
If after flashing stock Rom and your imei is back then take a TWRP recovery back up of Nvram and restore it after flashing nougat Roms.
Hope I helped

If you have any old TWRP backups then restoring from it could be the best option.
This is the reason we warn ⚠ make full backups before flashing anything.
The default stored information on some hidden partition has been altered or corrupted and there may not be much you can do than keep using Chamelophon (if it works well on Nougat)
You can try and download the latest RR 5.8.2 it has mtk engineering mode and very stable you can use to write imei too. But am not sure it stays permanently

There is mtk engineering mode in the RR 5.8.2 that am using but it doesn't have option to change imei.
Am sorry there may not be another way for now since there's no xposed Framework for nougat yet.
You may have to stick with Marshmallow for now.
Or buy another motherboard from Aliexpress

Download IMEI_MAKER.zip (to create a new IMEI file) then unzip the content of the folder (imei.exe) to a folder on your desktop
In command prompt, navigate to the imei.exe containing folder you just created on your desktop
NOTE
Code:
cd\ then Enter returns to root directory
cd.. then Enter goes up one directory
cd foldername then Enter navigates to a folder called foldername
A faster method is to open the imei.exe containing folder > Hold down Shift > Right-click on an empty space > Select "Open Command Window here"
When you're inside the imei folder in command prompt, type
imei.exe <15digit_IMEI_1> <15digit_IMEI_2>
eg
Code:
imei.exe 123456789111111 123456789111124
Press Enter
If both IMEIs you gave are of the correct format, a file named MP0B_001_NEW will be created. Rename it MP0B_001.
Now you can send it to the sd of your phone
Install ROM toolbox lite then go to root explorer
In root explorer, delete the existing MP0B_001 file (located @ device/data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI) and replace with the one you just created
Long press the new MP0B_001, go to permissions and tick all 9 boxes at the top then select ok (don't tick special pernissions)
Restart your phone
Your SIMs should be detected, IMEI reflect and Baseband version change from unknown to what it should be.
Note that getting this done might not be this direct due to different scenarios but replacing the MP0B_001 file is the ultimate goal in order to fix the issue.

I was curious, is there anyway to flash the firmware and modem through fastboot instead of TWRP? I accidentally downloaded the OP3 firmware instead of OP3T and then flashed it and well you know how that goes. Thankfully this phone almost impossible to brick even when doing the worst. It shows up in the computer and my bootloader is unlocked, and i was wondering, instead of losing everything and following the unbrick guide if there are actually commands or ways to flash it through fastboot so i don't have to fully wipe the phone? I have TWRP backups that are from yesterday on the phone, so if there was a way to restore that at the very least if i did have to do the full flash then thats fine too. I guess if the unbrick tool didn't wipe out internal storage or something thats fine. Any help is appreciated.

If you're experienced, you can actually flash each individual partition image file back to each partition on your phone using fastboot flash file partition. So yes, if you know what you're doing you could just restore the firmware partitions and you should be back on track. However if you accidentally flash to the wrong partitions you could potentially brick your phone. ?

I'm perfectly comfortable flashing partitions. Done it many times with old HTC's and Nexus's. I just need to know what the actual names of the files are that i'd need to extract from the zips is the other thing.

Well, I've never really had to do this on the 3t. Last was on an old Huawei mediapad, but you can Google all the partition dumps in the latest full OTA zip, some are self explaining.
hey @M3drvr,
i have now the same problem as you had. i flashed accidentally the wrong firmware file for my op3t and it stucks now at the oneplus booting screen. how did you solved your issue back then? any help is appreciated.

With the unbrick tool in the general section.
Updated my new x522 to 5.8.021s now I have no phone or data. It sees the sim and my phone number on the sim but it won't go on the network. Everything else is fine so have 2 questions.
1. Can and how can I flash a new modem to the 5.8.021s firmware?
2. What modem should I use I am in California on T-mobile?
Baseband MPSS TA 2.1 c700008-8976 GEN PACK-1.85233.30.76286.2

Bought this phone last week off ebay thought I would update the firmware so I found the 5.8.021s file and did the update ZIP. It updated fine and everything worked except the phone. It shows the sim card as t-mobile with my phone number and cellular data calls and messages as t-mobile but when I try search for network I get "error searching for network". I tried different sims that I know are good and nothing works. I would return it to the original firmware but I wasn't smart enough to back it up. I would flash a new modem if I knew how maybe that is the problem. I have an x829 as my daily driver this was going to be a birthday gift.

Seems like you flash a wrong ROM that is meant for different country.
Download EUI stock official ROM which is meant for your country then flash it with chinese twrp once you flash it
Fixed it. Installed the small EUI by aurel. He had a note about my predicament on the first page. Great ROM for me and a big thank you to him. So here is what I did. Probably would have worked on the 21s too.
1. Download the adb, fastboot drivers
2. Install it on your PC.
3. Restart the phone in fastboot mode (power + vol down)
4. Type this commands in the terminal:
Quote:
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot reboot
5. Done.
Thanks again
I got this problem fixed after using fastboot erase persist, and fastboot flash persist /directory/persist.img.
I Got stocked after trying used fastboot erase (each of my partitions) and well not remember what more i did. Just tried installing a lot of stock custom rooms (that not worked) and also remember that the twrp keeping said not able to mount persist partition.
I have faced imei = 0 on 3 phones till date and hence I'm **** scared of it.
How to backup imei ?
I mean how to backup the following-
1. EFS partition
2. Modemst1 (imei 1)
3. Modemst2 (imei 2)
Also is there any solution as of now to imei=0 if there is no backup saved? Also will a twrp backup of all available partition help?(because it didn't help on OnePlus 2)
Did you root?

I am new to this device but i know modemst1 and modemst2 is not IMEI thing and you cannot backup it, or it is not needed..
And also don't know if which partition is correct for backup of IMEI. But you can try restoring all partitions.

Have you tried popping your sim in another phone? Please check imei, *#06#. If it is 0 then your phone will not be recognized by any network. Clogo and customize may show failure msg but it doesn't do anything. I suggest you try first the flashing of stock rom for your variant. Remove sim before flashing and pop it after 1st boot. Check your imei at once. If the above link I mentioned didn't work, try the latest lineage 15.1 build. It has updated rild libs. You can also get signal there and your imei. Once booted in it, reflash modem, clear modemst1 and modemst2, then reboot. Take an efs backup in twrp after.
