Hello, I can setup the brightness of my Diamond´s display. But can I even setup the brightness of dimmed display? Thanks.
Quick question. My initial thought was that by toggling adaptive brightness, it would enable the phone to use the full spectrum of backlighting for the current lighting situation. But, I am finding, that you still need to use the brightness slider to determine the max level brightness that adaptive brightness will go to. Is that correct? Because when I push the slider up to enable more brightness, the phone's screen does become brighter. Can anyone confirm this is how it was designed to work? (I am on stock 5.1 with no mods.)
Has anyone managed to get Adaptive Brightness to work on their Moto x? I have it switched on yet my phones brightness never seems to change even in near darkness or bright sun shine.
Found the answer here:

I'm glad you found the answer. I can definitely see the brightness change depending on the ambient light in the room, but it will stick to a more narrow "band" of brightnesses based on how you have the brightness set.
There is any way to lower the brightness on dimmed watchface?
When I'm using low brightness level, the dimmed mode is more brighter than the normal watchface.
Any tip or hack about that?
Cinema mode will turn watch face off completely however you could try a reset as it sounds like your screen brightness setting is not working as it should.
Shouldn't ambient display turn off when you cover the proximity sensor. It doesn't work that way on miui 11. How do I get it to work that way
