Hopefully someone who is capable can continue to maintain for Cepheus. Upstream F2FS to latest version only works for unencrypted user data. Thank you so much, dev, for bringing us this awesome ROM. I installed it few hours ago and it runs good, but I noticed that the CTS Profile false error appears even when I flashed the module that fix it.
Also, for those who wondering if the ANX Camera works, the answer is yes. In this case the app opens but the screen goes black, so it doesn't work apparently but if you change to Pro Mode you can use it without any other problem. Of course, as you know, the 48 MP function still doesn't work.

I'm still working on CTS Profile issue, If necessary I'll switch to redfin fingerprint to pass the cts checking. For now I'll mark CTS as bug

Reboot into TWRP
Mount vendor
Use file manager in TWRP and get in /vendor/firmware/wlan/qca_cld/, and delete" wlan_mac.bin"
or flash persist.img (risk loosing widevine l1)

Great rom but with 2 major problems. Google Chrome always stucks and it has excessive battery drain comparing with other roms.

Thank you for building evoX for our device, it's my favorite rom.
I have just installed the latest build (12/04) and it's so cool. I had no issue with Google chrome so far, it seems to be stable, maybe a little bit slow sometimes.
I will continue to test the build and reports you the problems I might find

Quick update. Disabling navbar will no longer crash SystemUI as Pulse related stuff (except notif pulse) have been removed. The menu and back buttons don't work as wake keys at the moment but the home button still does the job. Other stuff in the changelog below! Don't forget to donate if you liked my work! I hope you know, that in order to install Evolution x 5.6 you need to perform a clean flash.

Installed the Latest one .. And been using this for 30 hours now.. I have to Say.. The rom is just amazing and the Features are just FREAKIN Awesome.....I rarely noticed some micro stutters but other than that it's awesome...
No random freeze or chrome Freeze like other Android 11 based ROMs for Mi A1.\
Kudos to the Developer!
(PS- Can anyone suggest to me a GCAM suited for this rom?)

The rom is working fine without any issues and didn't notice any at present time.
I am changing rom and vendor build.prop...it works but volte is broken and system is too laggy.
Even i am using ( https://github.com/ayush5harma/PixelFeatureDrops ) magisk module but in android 11 it doesn't work any more (P4XLProps-November) this works.
Is there any way this module works properly without volte broken and system not lag..

Don't tag devs in the thread. And Idk why you're even flashing that module since Evo X uses PixelPropsUtils within the ROM already.

Final update for this half of the month. Just a few more fixes to HW keys related stuff. If the navbar toggle bugs out, just toggle on/off any toggle in the same window, then the navbar toggle should persist.

After that I can use official Google camera and it directly update from playstore and I can also install or uninstall..even I didn't need any other Google port cameras.

Passed without Magisk

With Magisk Hide turned on, everything works (GPay, banking apps, etc.), although the safety pass in Magisk Manager does not pass.

On this ROM, will Google treat my device as if it is a Pixel?

I have been using this build and it seems quite good because it is stable and fluid, it can be used day by day. It lacks some basic Android 11 features, but I know it's just the beginning. a nice aspect is that the Oxygen Launcher and the battery is really fine ... Something important that they should improve is the tone of the system colors, specifically that of the notification bar, sometimes it cannot be distinguished when some functions are active like GPS and others .. especially in dark modes. I mean the default mode with which it comes configured.

After restarting, it asks me for the password to enter the system, be it pin or pattern, when I enter it it unlocks but it turns off and on, off and on, then it restarts and enters recovery mode and from there it no longer enters the system, it's an operating system bug, you have to fix it

Found one bug yet: "Hey Google" doesn't work.
Rest works like a charm
Very smooth and snappy. Changed animation timing to zero, now very snappy

Bug Report (may be hardware related, maybe source related) Bluetooth doesn't seem to work for me in most if not all Android 12 roms I've tried, including this one. I go to turn it on, it stays stuck on turning on bt, then when you navigate away from either QS or in settings > connections > bt, then go back to it, it has turned off again. Tried with and without Magisk 24.3 installed as a zip immediately after installing rom, still happens.
Tried this rom dated 2022-04-15, LineageOS 19.1 - 2022-04-12, Project Elixir 1.5, and ArrowsOS (both Vanilla with at first go NikGapps and the FlameGapps, and GAPPS) version 2022-03-17. All were data wiped, then wiped system, vender, cache, dalvik, data, and internal between installs. It seems to work under official Android 10 firmware, if that helps. Haven't tried under Android 11.
Using an Australian s9 Starlte
EDIT: Beginning to think it's a bt hardware issue, as I don't usually use bt under stock, due to only having one other device to connect to, being a laptop, and it being slower than molasses to transfer files via bt.

Solid rom.
I only use my older S9+ for connection to ext display, with all enabled in dev settings I can't get output using USB-C > HDMI or USB-C > DP+PD
Any others note this? Usually no issues on AOSP roms

I set live wallpaper from tiktok and the phone aint workin no more
update
if any one face same problem Boot the phone into recovery, then navigate to TWRP -> Advanced -> File Manager -> Data -> System -> Users -> 0. Here, delete all files with the name "Wallpaper" (usually the last ones) and reboot.

I think no since Vanilla builds will broken some features.

Since DerpFest itself is now EOL, so this thread also be closed.

It has been difficult to find an actual working methodology, so giving it a long shot asking it here. Do you know how to fix the Preloading and Checking issues for Knox? USB Debugging and OEM Unlock are both enabled. The Vaultkeeper option is not listed prior to entering Downloading mode either.

This is a sweet ROM! My S9+ was not lasting a day on stock OneUI2.5 but I now seem to have had a weekend on one charge, with low usage though. Not my daily driver, have a X3 Superzoom, but I'll be using my S9+. Little more now
