SAMSUNG SM-G977N - Samsung Galaxy S10 5G Questions & Answers

Hello everyone, I seriously need help in flashing a different rom into my Korean 5G variant as 5G doesn't work, samsung pay doesn't work and it's bloated with Korean stuff and I am located in UAE, is there any solution to that? Please help me as if there is no solution I will need to sell it.

It's not about the rom itself, it's still gonna be the case even if you change it I'm afraid. The korean variant has different 5g hardware so i don't think it's going to work in places other than korea.

I'm not sure that the Korean version doesn't work in Europe! I have the s10 5g Korean version and unfortunately the 5g network doesn't work here at home in my country either and I still can't find a way to get it to work! But when I go to my neighbouring country Germany, the 5g network works normally there! I have VN Custom Rom there, so apparently the Korean version can be rolled out when it works in Germany, but I don't know the reason why it doesn't work in my country right now! Maybe it's some bad settings in the CSC, I don't know! Anyway, Germany told me in the return that the problem is in the hardware! Unless they use a system like Korea .But I can't advise how to start it, because I've been trying to start it myself for 3 months now, but still without success!!! Screenshot from Germany with 5g network !

Yeah i thought that too. Do you know a way to change the CSC on Android 12 by any chance? I can't get LTE+ in my country.

SamFW FRP tool, you can change CSC with it but it probably won't help you to 5g! I tried it and it didn't help me, and now I also tried a downgrade to A11 and also no result working 5g ! Still max 4g+

SM-N950F or SM-N9500

Hello very good, I'm spanish sorry but I'm in a big bind ... I have to choose between a SM-N950F or the SM-N9500 Chinese or European the issue is that I know that the 950F can flaseharle with ODIN and pass to PHE(Spanish) 64GB So far no problem the issue I have in that the N9500 comes with 256GB and radio enabled thing important for me, the issue that as read and read can not use Samsung Pay or Samsung Members in the N9500 right? if true, could you disable those apps? and also ask;
Do you have a lot of Blooatware? If so, can everything be disabled?
in the case of taking the N9500, you still have the briefing if you give them to the left side (the news) and if this can change language or something?
also Bixby is in Spanish or can it be put? Do you recognize Spanish even if you are from China?
I was also told that the correction functions of the S Pen corrects you in Chinese not in Spanish can be arranged and the keyboard can be put Spanish with its corrections in Spanish right ??
I need help u.u ....
I have the SM-N9500 with 256Gb and it all works fine in English once you change the language option! I have no problems with spell check or anything else, bloatware was not an issue. The only thing I can't use is Samsung Pay, but I think that's my bank's fault (I don't use it so no problem)! I had to spend a bit of time getting the language set to English as it started up in Chinese, but some research on the web helped me get it all sorted ... so do your research in advance! I think I looked at a YouTube video to help ... can't remember details now!
The SM-N9500 is a great phone and the 256Gb storage is almost like having a computer in your pocket. I doubt you'll be disappointed. I haven't even found the need to root as it all works so well and comes with many ”bells & whistles” I would normally add with rooting!
Hope that helps in your decision making!

Either of these should work perfectly fine. The only difference is that the N950F uses Samsung's own Exynos SOC while the N9500 uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835. Samsung Pay may work in your country provided that the card, which is issued by your bank is supported for use with Samsung Pay.
You can disable the majority of the Bloatware on Samsung devices, however some cannot be disabled.
Bixby is dependent on the language, which you have chosen during the device Set Up process.
have Wifi calling and VoLTE? what Bloatware could not be deactivated?

Note 9 SM-N960 DF, DO NOT NAVIGATE IN 4.5G in SOUHT AMERICA

Regards,
A few days ago I bought a phone Samsung Note 9 modleo SM-N960F / DS. Doing speed tests I notice that it only connects to LTE networks, however I did a test with an S9 phone next to mine and I noticed that this phone connects to 4.5G networks and the signal strength is stronger than that of my phone doing the test in the same place and at the same time.
I´m From South America, my country is Ecuador, B4 bands are used for LTE connectivity. The info of my device is
Model: SM-N960F/DS
Model name: Galaxy Note9
Product code: XME
PDA: N960FXXS2ARL3
CSC: N960FOXM2ARK2
Version SW provider: SAOMC_SM-N960F_OXM_XME_OO_0018
XME/XME,XME/XME
Attached screenshots of my phone information to help me with a guide if you can do something to take advantage of the phone because it is supposed to be free and if you have the B4 band available.
Thank you very much for your comments.
Best regards,

Your friend probably has a carrier supplied phone. Your phone is not carrier supplied, therefore no carrier aggregation (less signal). So your speeds and service will be significantly slower.

N9600 Wifi Calling & VoLTE enabled without root!

Hi folks,
Just discovered today that the newest software update on N9600 enables the Wifi Calling and VoLTE with my TracFone T-mobile SIM card!! I found this because when I was on the call it says "HD" on the screen, which I only saw on US version phones before.
My Dual SIM N9600 (likely from Hong Kong) has never been rooted or flashed with any CSC file. It's in its pristine official status except for the OTA updates every month. I remember that the VoLTE option was not available before this update, whenever I was trying to tap the "VoLTE" icon in the drop down menu it said "VoLTE is not available for this software version" blahblahblah. The June update is 500ish MB which I thought was bulky but didn't know why (in the What's New section of the update info it's just some very generic bs like improved performance and latest security patch)
I'm soooo excited about being able to use my phone on wifi with airplane mode on!:laugh: also the HD voice is really nice.

This is seriously great news. I've been planning to get a dual sim (exynos / snapdragon) so that I don't have to carry 2 phones (currently Note 9(960U1) and Note 5. One on T-mobile and another one on Mint mobile.
Would you please do a speedtest (speedtest.net app) on LTE/Data and post the screenshot. I am hoping the speed is good and if so Google Voice will work with out issue which is one of my requirement. I really don't like to go down the root/custom rom/CSC change route if I can avoid it.
If I buy on eBay, returning once opened will incur 20% or 25% restocking with the vendors I've shortlisted so like to avoid that.
Thanks much!
i see your on the TGY rom same here but in the latest update they have disabled it again!? now it says "volte is not supported by your current software version" are you experiencing this?

How get 4g+ | 4.5g on K20 Pro ?

HI guys, anybody find a way for 4.5g on the k20 pro ?
below link is for mi9 but not work on k20 pro.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/Mi-9/how-to/enable-4g-4-5g-carrier-aggregation-mi9-t3977213
its impossible ? or not ?
I think that depend on the network provider.
I have Mi9t pro Vodafone carrier, and sometimes i get 4g+ signal on statusbar.
I'm not convinced it's possible on the Mi 9.
If you read the thread you'll see that people have messed up their radio trying it and lost network connectivity. If I had the Mi 9 I wouldn't consider that guide for a second. Looks like a sure way to screw up the phone.
On the stock miui10 I get 4g+ all the time on the Portuguese meo network carrier, no mods.
I got 4G+ at most of the places I have travelled in my country India
In UK 4g+ is when You downloading something bigger. When is only in standby or low speed nessesary is only 4g. Is no reason to be with carrier aggregation all time.

4G+ / 4.5G should be automatically activated if your network supported these combinations: https://cacombos.com/device?model=M1903F11G .

It depends on provider/subscription but also on your CA capabilities as negotiated by firmware.
Maybe if you have Chinese firmware, Carrier aggregation would not work in the West
Successfully tested 4G+ LTE Carrier Aggregation (Primary cell b3, Serving cells b1, b20 = 20+20+15 MHz bands aggregated) on Mi 9T, QFJEUXM 11.0.5:

Your carrier will need to support it. Sometimes, carrier purposely disable CA during peak hours. You can check whether it detects the secondary serving in 4636 mode.

P30 Pro not supporting VoLTE on all providers

Congstar in Germany (provider in Telekom-Network) now has VoLTE and WifiCall. Unfortunaltely, it works with almost all smartphones, BUT NOT with Huawei-Phones. My P30 Pro can't do VoLTE and WifiCall in Congstar-Network. If I put the SIM-card in other phones, it works.
There are customers from other providers that have the same problem with Huawei.
Why is that?
Yeah i searched to for some days now, and can not find any Option to activate VoLte here in Luxembourg with Tango Provider. I Phoned the Tech support and after 3 Persons i got someone that say to me that for now they only support Iphone and some Samsung Phones...
i will try to find someone with an other Provider and try with oder Sim Cards.
I think this is a very bad design choice from Huawei, to not even show the button, instead of a gray button and say it is not compatible with my Provider.
Model: VOG-L29
Build number: 10.0.0.186(C431E19R2P5)
Android 10
Security Patch 1 January 2020
But they don't do it.

I don't had any VoLTE option in the s20 and note 20 and I asked on the telegram groups about this and yeah if you have a call and LTE at the same time that means VoLTE it's working fine, by the way how I can get in to that menu?

Hi
My Three provider in UK are supporting WifiCall and working perfect on my p30 pro, my wife's p30 working perfectly either.
Regards
Working both for O2 in Germany. AFAIK those are options provisioned by your provider. If they didn't "approve" p30, it won't be enabled. Some providers have an annoying bias towards iPhone and major Samsung flagships. Had EE before for which WiFi calling was enabled but volte not.
