So my power button stopped working a while back. Today I accidentally held the vol down long enough to enter the bootloader screen.
The screen has timed out, how can I reboot?

You should be able to just plug it into computer and use adb commands to restart the system

You will not be able to use adb commands, but you will be able to use fastboot commands. Fastboot reboot, specifically.

1. Download and install Minimal ADB and Fastboot from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
2. Download and install the Motorola Device Manager from here: https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/88481
3. Do whatever you did to get your phone into bootloader mode.
4. Plug your phone into your computer.
5. Open Minimal ADB and Fastboot and type fastboot reboot. Press enter.

I can't get my computer (Win 10) to recognize the phone. In device manager it shows up as (Device descriptor request failed). When I open the Motorola Device Manager, it searches for updates and comes up with "There are no updates for your device" Current version: N/A.
Ok, so I put a pry tool between the power button and the screen to try to remove the back to get to the battery/button. While pressing into the power button the phone restarted! I guess it was enough to trigger the button.
Thanks for your help, I'm still going to try to get fastboot and adb working, might be easier now that phone is booted up.
After i i flash custom rom the i cant turn on the wifi so i decided to reset factory of my red magic 3 but after a rest i got stuck in FASTBOOT MODE no matter what i choice from reboot from recovery mode or reboot from system it will just restart and back again to FASTBOOT MODE can some one help me please is this permanent brick?
oh boii, same happens to me, that was a pain but after relax and think what i can do, was so easy to fix, you will need an cable USB C to USB Adapter like this: https://www.amazon.com/Syntech-Adap...o+USB+3.0&qid=1559945169&s=electronics&sr=1-8
then u need a flashdrive, download the official rom here: https://eu.redmagic.gg/blogs/news/red-magic-3-global-rom-flash-instructions
after downloading it, connect the flashdrive to your computer and enter the rom in here, then connect the flashdrive to the usb cable adapter and then you need to connect it to your phone, put your phone in recovery mode (hold vol up + power) and select your language and select "Choose Update Package" and select "Choose From OTG Device" and here you just will need select the rom that you downloaded and put in the flashdrive, idk if there is an easy way to do this but this was the only way that I found and it worked, also this method will lock your bootloader, I hope you can fix it, sorry for my bad english

This will work 100%, but about the usb 3.0 or 2.0 I'm not sure, this phone support 3.0 usb, if you have an adapte 2.0 you can try it, if you will buy one is better to buy 3.0 one

you have to connect your phone using any USB cable to your pc
make sure you have installed usb drives you find it on the ADB folder
first go to fastboot mode and then in your pc go to devices manager and update android bootloader interface, and thats it
open cmd and type , fastboot devices and you find your device serial and your good to go
first you have to unlock your bootloader to flash the recovery
and then type fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
and then fastboot reboot
thats it you will be able to access recovery mode and install the update using a usb flash
good luck,

My device turns on but the display doesn't (I'm pretty sure the display isn't damaged since the display turned on twice after this problem started)
I need HELP urgently since that is the only phone I've got
Device details:
it runs on Lineage OS 17.1
Rooted (Magisk)
Twrp installed
I've tried entering recovery mode but it doesn't work
Tried recallibrating the battery but that doesn't work either
The phone turns on and I can see it in adb devices when connected to PC
I also tried to reset the device using adb but I guess I've disabled Root access over adb (in developer options)

How can you know that the phone boots into twrp recovery mode if the the screen doesn't turn on?
In addition, if you can share a photo of your phone screen while in TWRP or in fastboot or anything that shows on the screen; that would be easier for me to understand the situation.

i got to know that it is in recovery mode by typing adb devcies in cmd and it shows my device id and it shows 'recovery' beside the id
and now the device isn't entering recovery mode by this command 'adb reboot recovery'

Bad for you ... I think your HTC-One-M7 display is in Android heaven now:crying::angel:
3 options:
- change display (if that was it).
- Buy a new HTC-One-M7 (the cheeper way).
- Buy a different mobile phone model (if you want).
Greetz,
Frank

Seems a hardware issue.
Drop it from the height of approximately 34000 meters like You're on K2.
Then land on the earth again. In case if you find your phone again it will be like a box pack brand new.

Hey,
So, basically, I'm having this issue where my phone fails to enter fastboot mode. It just gets stuck on the screen. I can restart normally if that happens by just holding down the power and volume down button, but I really don't get why it isn't booting into fastboot properly. Anything I can do to fix it? I'm on 12.5.9, Redmi 9T Global version. I need to boot into fastboot in order to install TWRP, and I can't do that due to this issue. Also, as a side question, how can I downgrade MIUI?
Thanks in advance.

Any detailed steps for that? Right now, I'm facing another issue, too, where I apparently have an update (MIUI 13), but it can't verify it, hence, not installing it.

Enable developer options and enable usb debugging after that download android adb tools and adb drivers for your phone. After that you have installed everything go to the directory where you have adb installed and from that open a elevated command prompt and type in "adb devices". It should say a random string followed by device (if your device is plugged in) After that type adb reboot bootloader and it should reboot into fastboot. For the update issue I've had that too its when the download was interrupted mid-way and it got corrupted somehow and the md5 doesn't match. Make sure to download it on the screen without turning off the screen or switching off to others apps.
