Magisk installed, "error to extract zip" while installing module/How to Xpost?
I rootet my device by the instruction from @ChinHon with magisk (thanks for that thread btw) and running latest Stock Rom.
I updated magisk to v14 and magisk manager to 5.3.
Now i have the problem that everytime i try to install a module there's a error.
I wanted to install the Xposed module and Viper4Android module.
Both after downloading and installing (looks like i would flash a file via TWRP) while installation process the command line says "unable to extract archive".
How to fix that? and is therr maybe an other way to install Xposed on this phone?

Install zip magisk 14.0 in twrp, works on b610
Later flash xposed systemless 87.3
Reboot
(Phone boots 10 minuts for me)
This error happens when there is no magisk directory on your phone;
i dont remeber the correct name of the directory, so let magisk creates that for u.
Open magisk and click dowwnload (only download zip) from the app (it will create the directory and thendownload magisk.zip).
So u have the directory now, everithing should work
Problem Exists

I have the same problem, some solution?
I had rooted with superSU than switched to magisk root which is now updated to Magisk v15.2(Magisk Manager 5.5.3) and I have some problems
Every Modules I intall gives Installation error(magisk_merge.img merge failed)
tried flashing modules via recovery but not showing into magisk manager
safetynet check failed what to do?
can i install viper4android or ARISE sound system(cant install from magisk modules)
If anybody can help would be great
Odds are good you didn't remove su properly
flash the unSU zip file to uninstall superSU
doesnt work
Installed manually, trying to reinstall via the direct install method results in the manager crashing.
Installing modules via TWRP fails as well.
The error given in Magisk Manager is that it can't extract the zip.
im using a samsung galaxy s9 with pie installed and could install edxposed.zp only via magisk manager. in twrp i get the error 1 wich states that magisk is not installed, which isnt true. anyways i installed an incompatible app which coused a bootloop and now i cant install the uninstaller
my question is, is there a module.list like discribed in the following link so i can just prevent the module is beeing loaded manualy?

edit:
i worked around thios problem via uninstalling magisk via zip file:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72542167&postcount=242

it just says
updater process ened with ERROR: 1
Error installing zip file
