Question Battery drain on realme gt 2 - Realme GT 2

I have an realme gt 2 , and the battery is draining fast due to quick device connect. I have removed all its permissions and force stop it. Its not working . Also the nearby share is always popping up when I unlock my phone even though it's turned off . Someone help me please.

In Settings / Connection and sharing / scrool to the bottom of the list and set quick dev. con. to off

Its off , but still running in the background

I also have battery drain with all permisions removed, this phone is looking for better net like a crazy, this is the real problem, the antennas are draining battery all the time.

My main battery drain problem is google services framework, is always in top 3.

The battery drain was bad for me too and I stopped the background running apps along with optimizing the battery to see which app consumes more battery. Now my phone is fine!

For those getting battery drain due to quick device connect, they can install the latest version of qdc from apk mirror.
It fixed the issue for me.

Thanks for the info I'll try this out!

Update quick device connect then the draining issue will be solved. I had this issue and it is resolved by this method. Hope it will be useful for all.

I disabled the app with ADBAppControl and that fixed it for me.

Don't worry. If you have PC or Laptop, disable Quick device connect with ADB shell.
Go to Mobile Settings and turn on USB debugging and Disable permission monitoring.
Then connect your device to PC and open ADB Fastboot.
Then ADB devices - ADB Shell - Use PM user command.
You can simply disable much more apps.

[Q] proces.android.acore constantly uses more cpu - until reboot

Hello community
I know there are hunderets of threads about the acore proces out there. but none of them seems to be related with my problem.
My acore proces uses a lot of my cpu and therefore my battery drains very fast.
(you can see what happens in the screenshot attached. every time the graph begins from zero i rebooted my phone)
My config:
I9070 - Stock 2.3.6, rooted, supercharged
Go Launcher & Go Locker
so what I hve done until now:
- cleared all my contacts (someone stated that contact sync could cause this)
- unsupercharged
- used another launcher & locker
- even reflashed stock rom
the acore proces is used from different apps like digi clock, go locker and go launcher.
maybe someone has another idea how I could get the cause of my problem...
until now I used battery mix and ASI to get the info.
Thank you in advance!
This is android main proces from framework. It doesnt make difference to battery and working in background. You can see it as android os in battery info.
Sent from my GT-I9070 using xda app-developers app
but its behaviour is not normal, is it?
you can see the android os proces as well in battery mix. and when I open ASI I can see which proces is "hiding" in the acore one. the battery consumption was not that high as I bought the phone. at first my battery lasted for at least two days, now its not even 10 hours. also the battery consumption in sleep mode is beyond normal - if I unplug my phone in the morning and dont wake it up the battery is drained by 25% after 3 hours...
i am searching a way how I can get more info about that drainage...

I just installed Battery mix app, and I will let you know of cpu usage on my phone for that.
P.S. For now I do not even have acore there...

Thank you for your support! Make sure you have "Hide system processes" unticked in Battery Mix.
I found something else that may could help me: "adb logcat"
There are strange things going on when my phone is in "sleep" mode...
This is what happens while my battery drains 1%: Pastebin
Somehow my softkeys are turned on and off the whole time the phone is in my pocket. I have a slight clue that NoLED is causing the drainage.
I now disabled the background light of my softkeys and uninstalled NoLED. (although I already had NoLED Disabled for a whole day and the problem persisted)
Will post results!

Lucky you. I tried JetMod, but had the same problem.
Until now it does not seem to solve the problem when i uninstall NoLED and deactivate Softkey-light. Just the Log entries disappear...

Some strange things happen... I used to have some 2-4 MB download on every reboot. Untill I change gmail account on phone. Now this...
I was successful.
Uninstalled Go Launcher, Go Locker and all themes that are related with them.
Installed SmartLauncher (Free without Widgets) and MagicLocker.
The acore proces is gone i just dont know exactly what the cause was.
Now I'm just waiting for JB...

Mobile Dock Power Saving Mode Not Working

Hi all- Lately I have been getting terrible battery drain when my tablet sleeps while docked. I noticed that even though I have the Asus custom option for Mobiledock power saving mode enabled it does not work. I remember with my T101 I would have to enable, disable, and reenabel but that does not work. If I sleep the tablet and press any key on the dock it wakes. I suspect this is since the last recent update as the problem also seems to have started recently. My tablet is completely stock and not rooted yet.
Anyone else notice this?
Thanks
Moderater- Sorry, I was doing search on this and thought I was still in the question/troubleshooting forum. You might want to move this thread. mm
Install wake lock detector to see which apps are keeping your tablet awake.

Wakelock manager is not working properly on my system. When I try to perform any action I just get a message that says "unable to perform requested action at this time, try again later." That said, it did open to the CPU wakelock page that was sorted by duration. The top of the list was Avast Mobile Security with a duration of only 9secs. I'm guessing that does not pose much of a problem.
I previously have BatteryStats Plus installed. It also is no longer working and is constantly crashing but I have been checking it since the battery drain problem started. It has a page for "potentially draining apps" that I am guessing also has to do with wakelocks. It has always reported that there are "no potentially draining apps"
What I also need to do, and should have tried already, is to sleep the tablet without the dock and see how the battery holds up.
I do know that the Asus Custom Setting for Mobiledock Battery Saving Mode is not working. Any key on the dock will still wake the tablet with this enabled. I suspect this is the problem. I should mention that I also have the tablet in Ultra Battery Saving Mode.
Can anyone with the latest update installed tell me if the Mobiledock Battery Saving Mode in setting under the Asus Custom Settings is working for them?
Thanks

Sounds like your device is not sleeping at all so you need to find out why - which wake lock detector or better battery stats would do - so you need to get a logcat of why they are not working
Sounds like you have major issues to me....

Well I know from the reviews that Better Battery Stats has been crashing for a lot of folks. A logcat is a good idea. Maybe it's time to finally root and flash a new rom as well. Thanks
I have no significant drain with tablet sleeping when not docked. This is similiar to early problems with the TF101.
Is anyone else having dock draining issues? Is the dock power saving mode working for anyone?

XT1254 Battery drain by Android OS

Hello!
Recently I've encountered strange bug - my phone keeps draining my battery with Android OS process. Since I have no root, I can't find out details ( Maybe you, guys could help? Did you happen to see such strange situation? Any solutions? I've tried disabling WiFi, WiFi optimization and checking/unchecking lots of other checkboxes all over settings
anyone? :crying:
I'm assuming to tried to reset the phone, by holding down the power button, past the time the screen pops up, then let go for it to power back on by itself.

Try the GSm battery monitor to get more details. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gsamlabs.bbm&hl=en
BTW Android System uses the most on mine also and I still get 24 hours of battery life...so it's not a big issue.

I also have more than 24h of lifetime. But it's not OK when Android OS uses more than screen and and keeps device awake.
I have this program Pro version installed. It's useless without root access. Can't tell me which package uses loads of battery
It's most likely an app that makes the android os be so high. Check first with gsam battery and if you find no issues that cause it then factory reset, update, then restore phone to how you had it.

Battery drain

Hi there,
I'm comming from OnePlus 5T, the one phone where I did found the need to root the device or flash another ROM. Their software is excellent.
It's my first week with RP2 and the most annoying thing is the battery drain that I see both when using the phone and when not; I lose around 20% of the battery over night (with OPO 5T, I was losing top 1%) and a 15 minutes browsing session shaves around 10% of the battery. While the phone becomes slighly warm.
I installed BetterBatteryStats, but I don't know exactly what to look for. Any suggestions on how / what too look to identify the cause? I wont root the device, but I'm open to use adb commands for extra permissions.
Thanks,
I noticed that chroma is one of the biggest battery hogs. Are you using it? It runs even if you have it turned off. I totally disabled it on my phone. I another one as of lately has been Google play services for me over night it's the biggest battery drain.
I only kept the notifications enabled via Chroma. Disabled now.
Did you figured out the google services thingy?
How did you disabled it completely? I turned off the effect and notifications but I say the light starting for a micro second a couple of timea when I pick up the phone.
Thanks,

No I still haven't figured it out. I've turned off everything associated with location and sync app data and still it runs.

Question Battery drain on Galaxy A33

Hello everyone!
I recently bought the Samsung A33 5G, but I'm having battery problems and I don't know what it could be.
Using, for example, WhatsApp or Twitter I spend approximately 3% every 5 minutes using Wifi and with the brightness at 20%.
I have monitored the battery with apps like Battery Guru and AccuBattery but I have not seen anything strange. I have also tried to wipe the cache partition from the recovery and repair the apps but it has not improved either. I've also disabled battery optimization (seen it on reddit and some have found it helpful) but it still doesn't get any better. I replaced the phone but the problem persists.
Somebody can help me?
Thank you!
Battery consumption is strongly dependent on the size and type of screen, services used, distance from the GSM mast. There is a long way to go to get your phone to use less battery. For starters, try using a Wi-Fi connection for a while, without using GSM. The next step is to turn off LTE/5G and stay on a slow but less draining 2G/3G battery.
By the way, disable unnecessary services with Debloat Tool, mainly updates and sending notifications by applications that you do not need.

ADB AppControl 🚀 Root is not required. Works with any Android device. Can do almost everything you dreamed about with applications. ADB AppControl - the desktop program, that will allow you to easily manage applications on your android device...
