Hi There.
I tried searching using keywords, but I did not get the answer to my question, probably because i forget what the software is called.
I am looking for the software (think it is made by MS) that lets you control a PDA from your PC (see the PDA screen on your monitor)
if someone can post the name / link to download / link to discussion thread, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks
ian

try this if you are willing to pay: http://www.soti.net/
Try MS Powertoys:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/resources/downloads/pocketpc/powertoys.mspx
I don't know how good the MS Software is, as I don't have an english ROM. I tried the SOTI Controller and I'm thinking of buying 'cos I like the skinning feature.
Have Fun...
Yeah,I know many softwares of Remote Control but it doesn't work with XDAII ,it's sure, many users try and find it.
If everyone know and use successfully Remote Control TV for XDAII please tell all...

I dont think you can use tv remote software with the xda 2 because of the type of irda port used in making the pda.
If you haven't already downloaded and tried the MS Powertoys software bimmian I can recommend it. Use it all the time - the remote 'desktop' program that is. The powertoys collection has other things as well, but haven't even looked at them. Perhaps there's something useful...
Lol @ remote control for TV
Think you have the wrong end of the stick
Remote Control for Xda II
Hi
Try out www.mtux.com. Their remote control works well with the Xda II

Remote Software
Hi, I have downloaded the MS version from Powertoys and have used the software very successfully with an Orange XDA-II when the device is in the sync cradle. I like the way you can magnify the screen and demonstrate how to use an XDA without everyone having to peer over your sholder.
The Ms software is in this doc.
i hope and think that this will willwork
guyz. i just downloaded a software for remote { tv,vcr,component,etc}
its a vito remote software.. download and try it..
its already cracked.
but first...
you must go to vito website and download the latest vito remote ver 3.5
the install it on your xda ii.. then.. after installing it..
download the file of this website
the website is gone
just click the botton.. and it will download the vito remote version 2.6
then..
synconize ur xda ii then
copy the cracked vitoremote.exe to the xda ii folder located at
\Program Files\VITO Tech.\VITO Remote
note. u can delete the recent vitoremote.exe ver 3.5
then copy the vitoremote.exe ver 2.6 to the same folder.
then..
go go go
manix
I'd be tempted to run a spyware and Virus scan over your PS if you've been to mscracks.com. this site will install loads of crap no matter what firewall/AV software your running.
Oh try NoviiRemote. Works perfectly on all I-Mate PDA's
well AV and firewall dont really help what IE let sites install
getting another browser then IE is the first step to avoiding such things
Removed this very old warez post.
yep, thankyou very much!
Hi, Is there anyway to conrtol the ppc from a pc. Although I love my kaiser, it's kinda anoin having to control two machines back and forth. So, I'm hoping to find a way to control both my pc and ppc from my pc…. Is this possible??
for example i'm using Pocket Controller enterprise http://www.soti.net I'm very satisfied with this app
Yes it is possible.
I use Pocket Controller Pro from SOTI (http://www.soti.net/default.asp?Cmd=Products&SubCmd=PCPro).
Very handy for SMS message typing, installing cabs, exploring and making screenshots
//edit phsnake beat me to it
http://www.mymobiler.com/ it's a freeware and allows you to
control your Kaiser on the PC. It shows your full Kaiser screen, you
can click with the mouse. But it does not support your hardware keys.

thanks guys, I'm gonna check out Pocket Controller Pro. since I don't know what the difference between enterprise and pro....

Hi guys!
Is there a working H.323 client that works with Kaiser?
I would like to connect to company's PBX, and damn /// still support only H.323, not SIP in this sw version.
Netmeeting is working fine on my laptop, so I hope to find something for the Kaiser as well.
Thanks,
T.

Not really seen anything specific but this may whet your whistle!!!
http://www.engadget.com/2007/11/12/windows-ce-6-0-r2-to-support-videoconferencing/
Windows CE is the base core of our system so it all filters down.
Thanks mate, but I hope of finding something sooner than the new M$ release of operating system and video conferencing. All I would really like to see is plain VoIP client that supports H.323 beside SIP.
I do know that Ericsson has developed clients that work with their PBXs using H.323 protocol, but they are developed for their smartphones using Symbian (P990, P1...)
T.
Not exactly sure what functionality you're after... but I thought Skype has conferencing features.. and it's free.
I don't know if you already looked on the internet for software, but I found this app: SJ Phone
More info is to be found on their site:
SJphone® is a VOIP softphone that allows you to speak with any other softphone running on a PC/PDA, any stand-alone IP-phone, or using Internet Telephony Service Provider (ITSP) with any traditional wired or mobile phone. It supports both SIP and H.323 standards and is fully inter-operable with most major VOIP vendors and ITSPs.

I haven't used it, so I can't confirm it works on the Kaiser. But I suggest you give it a try.
Good luck!

supplying keygens isn't allowed here (if anyone can find it in the first place). Can you give some more info? Full name of the app, maybe developer website, is it the latest version and so on?
I'll try it anyway.... I've had a program like this for my SE K700i, which was very nice. Windows XP recognized it as a bluetooth HID (human interface device), which means you can use it as a cursor/mouse and control certain programs (winamp, media player) with it. I hope this is something similar.
btw, if it's this one, it's freeware.
no my friend its not that one on your link, that one its freeware but mine is not a freeware software and how came i ask a keygen for a freeware software that would be seriously stupid
and sorry if i broke the xda-Developers forum rules i didnt knew about it and i like to play by the rules i just needed some help with the software
and i dont have much information about the software i found the cab in other forum as i was looking for a bluetooth HID software and my software has an Bluetooth HID profile but it dont save the paired device after u exit it because its not registerd
Does anyone from devs works on RDP client ?
I very miss this app.
Thanks for info.
+1 for this, a RDP client would be very useful!!
XDA WP7 devs is it even possible to do create the RDP client or not ?
Thanks for info.
Not, but MS are opening up many more API's in the future so it will come...
ok, thanks for info.
Remote desktop already in Market Place !! But for 15 bugs.
But I download it with freemarketplace app and remove DRM protection and I got it for free
