Hi all,
I have a SM-G781U1/DS (S20FE 5G 6GB RAM) but I just found out that it doesn't support having two SIM cards. I read that the phone has the hardware, just that the software isn't enabled to support dual SIM.
I read that SM-G781B/DS firmware supports dual SIM, it is also the version sold in my region so it has the region specific perks.
Is it possible to convert a flash a SM-G781U1 device to SM-G781B/DS by flashing the latter's firmware using Odin?
I'd prefer a non-root method as I need the Samsung Pay feature.

it's highly unlikely that Odin would even let you try to flash it, if it did it could fail the flash at the end leaving you needing to reflash U1 fw.
there wouldn't be any root solutions available to you anyway being on a US Samsung phone.

The thing is, when I turned it on I noticed the Android version that was installed on it was the one butchered by the carrier with a lot of extra stuff I don't want to have on it.
Is there a way for me to install the International Stock version on my phone?
And, which version should I install to have the best experience without any carrier sh!t installed on it?

Did you buy your phone on Ebay or similar site? It seems your phone is made up from different variants put together to get the phone working. Flashing stock filmware or even trying to root and flash a custom rom could render the phone useless.
is there any solution ?
I have buy a S21 Ultra Hong Kong version and when I manually check for update on the pho ne, it says Register failed.
I can still flash firmware via odin or update manually over PC with Smart switch. I have tried TGY and BRI rom and this problems stay the same.
Is there anyone that have the same error and know how to fix it? Or is it the same problems of this version.
P/s: I do not live in HK and not using HK carrier sim. All other functions work normally.

What country and carrier are you? Could possibly be an incompatible carrier.

I bought a Samsung Note 9 via eBay the original owner has it from at & t ... it's a snapdragon and I live in Europe ... my European SIM card works there and actually everything works only what doesn't work are updates my last update is december and especially the security update is from december 2020 does anyone know me how to put a newer or current security patch there ...?
