Hi everyone, my name is Tony and I am a hardware systems engineer, usually I don't have much to do with smart devices, I mainly deal with personal computers.
Happy to have found this community to expand my knowledge and why not help those who have needs in my sector of belonging.
I will certainly be happy, considering that a great friend recommended this beautiful community to me and that he considers a pillar in the smart device sector.
A warm greeting to all.

Hi all,
At the moment I am a student at the VU University Amsterdam, doing co-creation research. I would appreciate it very much, when you guys fill in my questionnaire for developers about co-creation.
This survey is done to investigate co-creators within online co-creation communities. An online Co-Creation community is a online network of people, who share the same interest, common identity and social relationships, among admires of a brand or product. Co-Creation is the integration of customers within the production and design process of an organization, to create value, and products to fulfill consumers' needs. In this case that would be, developers who design apps in order to improve the mobile devices for everybody.
If you fill in the questionnaire, you have the change to win 2x 50 euro! If you send this link to relevant people with me in cc [email protected] you increase your chance!
Many thanks, please check the link below

kind regards,
*Svetius approved this survey, which will help me with a school report and is not commercial in any way*

The efforts you put into making the Android experience as great as it has been for me is incredible.
No matter where you are from, what language you speak, personality, beliefs or gender -- you make one of the coolest things invented even better.
It is so much easier to tweak and change things now than ever before. You all are hard-working geniuses.
Kernel developers, ROM developers, MOD developers and other coders, you have my gratitude.
Kind regards,
hp

Everyone is thankful to the devs , but i think you wanted to say something more . right ? Any special reason
Well... I used to have a Samsung Galaxy I in 2011, now I have a Nexus 5.
The tools are so much better now to root/mod/tweak/update, and what took weeks to fix now only takes hours, and that is thanks to the hard work of the developers. So I appreciate them for that, especially how fast they made changes to lollipop.

Hello everyone.
I'm Aeren, the newcomer.
I'm a light tech enthusiast and a privacy advocate, and I hope that I can bring my small contribution here.
Apart from that, I'm quite easygoing, so feel free to bash me when I'm an idiot, I won't take it personally ;-)
Wish you all a wonderful day !

Hello Aeren and welcome to XDA!
Enjoy your stay.
Hello and thank you for letting this old sod join XDA
I'm by no means an expert when it comes to tech but more of an enthusiast although I am the one many of my family and friends come to when needing help and/or technical advice and I even sort out iPhones when a cousin of mine manages to forget her details
I've only ever owned 1 iPhone and that was a iPhone 3 and since then I've been an Android fan when it comes to phones and streaming devices.
I've often delved in and out of XDA when doing any research for gadgets or tech support so at 54 I thought it was high time I signed up.
Cheers.
Pete.

Hello all, Not a lot to say about my self really. I am just another individual coasting through life. I've visited somewhat frequently here as a nameless lurker absorbing the knowledge of you brilliant minds. Not until recently had I felt inclined to post with a registered account. I am a hobbyist in both software and hardware. Don't want to overplay my skill level with any kind of title as I haven't yet earned those wings but I do occasionally have a mote of genius and attempt to help out anonymously but I've never been certified, nor employed as any type of programmer or engineer. I hope to expand my understanding mostly of mobile phone/tablet and laptop modding going forward but can't guarantee how much time I have to devote to any projects due to life in general. I at least hope to contribute something in my free time. Anyhow, look forward to getting to know some of you.
Glad to have you aboard XDA mate! Continue to enjoy the forums information!
Cheers
