Hello all,
First I need to say that I am very new to all this. I'm 55 and I absolutely know nothing about this stuff. I've never used the command line for anything. If I ask for anything EAS KEEP IN MIND, treate like a 12 year old trying to figure something out and don't have a clue as to where to start. I will not take offense to that I promise Again Thans in advance for the great help ya'll provide.
hello and welcome to xda, im sorry to say this but 12 year olds are pretty savvy with this sortof thing, i have wrote quite a few tools for using thecmd line so feel free to hit me up with any questions

Im Mike, I work on the forums here. I dont engage much, but am here tinkering all the time, in case you want to reach out. Am proud to help work on the community here, even if its not always perfectly executed on my part.
You can hit me with the disrespect, I can handle it.
Anyways, glad to be here <3
Welcome aboard Mike! Cheers
Great to meet you, Mike!

Nice too see you Mike
Mike is one of the few people I've met that understands the power of community and forums in a modern context. He always has a plethora of ideas on how to make the community better (for example, this forum was his idea) and he's an incredible resource.

Hello and welcome to XDA!
Enjoy your stay.
Hello! I'm Susan and I'm coming to you from Mobile, Al. I have only basic knowledge of Android but ALOT of questions. My quest began about 4 years ago with what appeared to me as getting hacked. I've done everything I know how to get this endless issue to stop...all the way down to new phone, carrier, and number. But it seems to have caught up to me again. I'm new to forums in general but hoping to find that special someone who can help me. My phone seems to have a mind of its own and constantly changes my settings, passwords...just about everything. I'm pretty sure I'll have to get another phone but I'd like to figure out the cause so this doesn't continue. I welcome any and all questions, suggestions, advice and appreciate the opportunity to be in your forum.

Hi, I go by Lfann.
I’m an end-user. here to learn, get some help, and share what I can.
“Giving is receiving twice.”
Hello, Maverick044 here.. End User.. limited experience with modding/flashing android devices.. hear to learn, explore, and hopefully find some help with some devices I currently own as well.
And I just realized I hijacked Lfann's thread and do not know how to delete this... Sorry Lfann.

While I was just reading, I came across your introduction.... been here for a month and heard from anyone?
Still, I hope you feel very welcome and already read and learned a lot.
Give yourself time to learn how XDA works. Some topics are very difficult but also very simple things are covered. First of all, look for the smartphone you have in "search" and what can be found about it.
Enjoy this beautiful website to the fullest!
Sincerely.
