OxygenOS on K20 Pro

How likely will we get a working OxygenOS in our K20 Pro? Looking at the specs, both devices almost have identical features...

Very likely actually, I can't guarantee stability thought.

you can use the GSI but will need patches for this device.

I wonder why we are not seeing post about this? Can someone help me how to port or start a working GSI for OOS? or lead me where to start learning making a new rom from scratch?

Would using OxygenOS solve the problem with the call recording issue in the EU and could we use this workaround for it as well? https://forum.xda-developers.com/k20...2#post80155181 (see the OnePlus solution!! Maybe we can replicate that for the 9T Pro?)

Be patient.
ROMs are still in testing and not avaliable for release yet. Better to have a stable ROM than one with many features broken.
Give it a while, you might see some stuff popping up soon.

If you have huaxing display none of the roms would work as currently most custom roms are giving reboot issue on huaxing display. tiama display works just fine though.

not sure if anyone is solving any problems. Only the future updates can tell that. Hopefully it is being taken cared of though. Also Xiaomi is pretty lazy about giving Android updates so maybe after few months or maybe never.

currently most roms giving random reboot issue on huaxing displays. wait for it to get fixed. If you have tianma panel it'll work just fine

yes miui based roms like EU,mi novo, mi room don't have any issues with huaxing display.
To check which display you have tap on kernel version few time and you'll enter CIT mode.There in software version under TP version check for huaxing or tianma. You can also use aida64 or other relevant apps to check hardware info.

I downloaded aida64, I went to the screen item, but I can't find the name you say, where should I look exactly? thanks for the voice command problem ok google who can i ask? I want to try it manually even if I have unlocked the permissions on my phone

You can still get them with root and it's only for lower end models as far as I'm aware

I have Google services installed on my CN ROM mi 11 with MIUI 12.5 and everything seems fine. Even after some OTA updates to get to version 12.0.17 stable of the ROM. I hope there are no plans to eventually make the CN ROM incompatible with Google services?

I have prepared by beginning my bootloader unlock yesterday. It'll take a week, that's why. Kinda sad, as I originally was very happy even with the Chinese ROM, but I guess that's the end for it.

has anyone tried downloading gapps on miui 12.5?

seems like it gets easier actually on 12. 5

No problem here on MIUI 12.5 on Mi 11, Google services preinstalled and Safetynet passed as usual.

I've recently bought the Redmi Note 10 Pro after seeing a decent amount of Custom ROMs for the device on XDA. I bought the device with the intention of flashing DotOS but my device variant is "Sweetin" and unfortunately DotOS is made for Sweet.
My question is: Are there any differences between Sweet and Sweetin? Will DotOS work on Sweetin without any issues?

Both are same...

You just need to flash India ROM (for vendor) as a part of flashing instructions for the ROM

I've heard some people say Sweet and Sweetin Camera hardware are not the same and flashing Sweet ROM on Sweetin might break the Camera functionality. How true is this?

Yes I have flashed DOT OS on redmi note 10 pro. Everything seems to work as fine. Sometimes the camera doesn't open and you have to relaunch it. It just a minor bug.

I am using Pixel Experience Plus on my Redmi Note 10 Pro Max which is for Sweet, since last month, works fine except VOLTE

One more con is there that face unlock doesn't look to work all the time. It fails many times. But the overall experience is very good and the UI is very smooth and fast.

I didn't root my phone. But safetynet test is passed and banking app is working fine

as far i tried some rome , the speed of downloading anything from playstore is very slow., i have seen this issue on all the roms i have tried on my SWEETIN

Then I think you didn't tried lineage os 19 with fw flashing and clean flash...

I did not create this rom this is xiaomi eu rom​As every one knows all latest xiaomi eu roms for redmi 9t are not play certified so this is just a certifeid xiaomi eu rom for those that dont like rooting their phone.
This is just stock xiaomi eu rom without any modifications(i removed the stock email app)

Tried the ROM and found no problems. I would just ask how did you manage to enable the google play certification in the latest build?, can you teach me how to do it so that i can enable it in the future builds. I really need google services working in my phone and I want to use the latest builds as well.
