A few years ago, I got my hands on this Motorola ET1. What makes it "special" is that it is a DV Prototype.
This tablet is already obscure enough. Finding anything about it being a "DV Prototype" is even harder. Only one eBay result that was broken.

Just to get it out of the way, there doesn't seem to be any software changes compared to a release tablet, or nothing out of the ordinary, to my knowledge.
A few differences I can note:
- Power button is black, not silver like release.
- Entire back casing (inc. battery) is gloss black. Release was matte black.
- Label under battery has horizontal text. Release model had vertical text.
If someone knows how to dump this version of Android (I sure don't know how), let me know! I do have the files for Android 4.1.1, but want to see if 2.3 could be preserved, as there is only updates available from Zebra for it.

I just ordered the Van Gogh, Starry Night for my diamond, but there seems to be over 100 types for diamond alone..
The search here returned nothing, so I'm asking, has anyone got it? If so, how is it? What's the feel of it? Does it glide easily on your hand?
Just received it yesterday
Though the wallpaper borders don't match exactly
Overall, not bad, I think
I no longer have the 'sticky' back surface with fingerprint identification built in
Much more pleasant to hold
Are there also ones with flat backs?
recieved mine today; still not mounted.. will make photos when done.. the stickers are already flat, so you can mount it on a xda or mda as well.. only the edges are cut to fit the diamond back.case, but that won't matter too much i think.
Hi,
After months owning an N1, I managed to sell it today and buy a new one (with a guarantee this time) for a little additional money. The problem was, after some time using it, I noticed there is a small problem with the screen: there is a spot near the bottom left corner which seems to be brighter than the rest of the screen, especially when holding the phone in a certain angle. Kind of like this:

Do you guys know why this could be happening? Anyone has something like it? Is there a way to fix it, or should I send it back to HTC?
Nothing? :-(
Does it have screen protector?
Greetings fellow Moto X users!
As you all know the Moto X is rocking Android 4.4, a slightly dated version of KitKat. For those of you who are unaware, Android 4.4 has some slight UI inconsistencies, and frankly they are starting to annoy. For those of you who are lost, and a trying to figure out what I mean, this is what I mean...

As you can see, all the icons follow their own metrics. Nothing lines up and the worst offender is the battery icon, which you can clearly see. The good news is Google fixed it (sort of... they mostly just improved it a little) and now things aren't as bad. As seen below....
Basically I'm looking for help to get an Xposed Module made up or a modified apk to get these icons aligned.
My version is a little more optimized...
Have you tried SignalIconsAOSP?

Hi
My screen keeps on going white and is not responsive. When I apply pressure to the bottom of lcd on the panel the screen goes on but still not responsive again and when i release pressure the screen goes white again.
I opened up but don't see anything that could cause the issue.
So i got a replacement lcd from Auto Pumpkin but that sill never worked.
They then told me its the android board and that i must purchase another, which I requested to get the quad core board just incase it was not the board - which it was not.
So now im sitting here with a new lcd and quad core but mt screen is still white.
Here is a video: https://youtu.be/-V7eyKXOYLI
I replaced this first:

but that never worked
But I actually think it is this:
Any recommendations? Autopumpkin wants me to send the unit back to dfix but thats too costly and risky
I picked up a Q6 finding the back plastic cover has this rectangular cutout. You can't see it in the photo, as I need to catch the light at the correct angle to see it, but the phone has a darker rectanglular area to match. It seems to be more under/in the plastic than on top of it. I haven't opened it up yet to see.
My initial guess is that it was an area marked out to mount something but, I don't know, that just seems like going to too much trouble?
Does anyone know what this is?

That's where the IMEI/barcode label is located on the back of the phone.
