hello everyone!
I would like to say, I'm glad that I came across this website.
My story is, I wanted to root my Galaxy A30s and I was aware of risks and therefore, I was concerned about bricking my phone. I've failed on first try, but succeeded on second. After that, I tried to replace TWRP with OrangeFox, which was problematic (SIM signal randomly drops and comes back after flashing), but in the end it worked as it should!
And all of this was possible, thanks to the enthusiasts from XDAdevelopers!!
A huge Thank You from me!
Welcome to XDA and glad you have been successful with your device modding!
Keep enjoying the forums!
Cheers

My name is Chike, I have actually been getting a great deal of help from this forum, but i decided to register today because of the issue I have with my Umidigi A5 pro. I love tinkering with my device, like I can't use an unrooted device, I have always been able to fix certain issues on my device and colleague's devices because of some of the knowledge I have gotten from here, and with respect to the technological know - how of android phones, it has made me become the proverbial, one - eyed man in the land of the blind.

Welcome aboard and and enjoy the XDA forums!
I came across XDA when I was trying to unbrick a Huawei phone back in 2013. The phone was in a bootloop, (didn't know this term at the time) but I knew, the phone was still alive.
So in my search on google to find the solution, XDA was the go to. And so i got all the instructions on here and i unbricked and rooted my first phone, thanks to all the Brilliant minds of XDA.
And i'v been rooting and moding androids ever since, all Kudos to the Brilliant Minds on here!

Hi, nice intro
welcome aboard!
Just joined up, although I have utilized the site for many years now, as I have always loved modding my phones, ever since my first Experia, which was the first Experia, which was a charm to root, in it's day. My, how things have changed.
Currently I am running a Samsung Note 20 Ultra, SM-N986W, and I am looking forward to rooting it using the SM-N986U firmware with the Rogers CSC. I will provide a link to the thread here for any interested.
Again, I am glad to be here, and hope to meet many new friends.
Hi There, I'm glad I could join your Community, I have known about XDA devs for a few years now and have checked a few threads over the years , and I just wanna say that you guys are awesome, and the things that can be accomplished thanks to the collective efforts and knowledge here are nothing short of amazing to me.
I hope as I gain more of that knowledge and experience I may too be able to enrich this community.
I have always used Android , and never cared much for Apple, it seems too overpriced and unreliable to me.
I have been using an LG G8 "ThinQ" Verizon (stock) for some time now, and just decided to go ahead and Jump into world of possibilities that Custom ROMS and Root Modules offer to the curious "thinQering" mind.
However, I have run into a situation where I am unsure of how to proceed, STILL, before posting I will make sure to READ everything relevant to the problem that I can find.
I am Confident a Solution can be achieved.
Welcome to XDA and your off to a great start!
Enjoy the forums information!
Cheers
