Problem flashing TWRP in G800H

Hi guys! I'm trying to install TWRP 3 from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...install-twrp-custom-roms-g800f-t3439853/page1 in my G800H doing all the steps right like they are there. But when I try it takes me to download mode instead of the recovery. Anyone knows something about this? Or had the same problem?
You say you have G800H but the thread is for G800F, maybe it's the problem? The phones are different, different hardware, don't use software for one model on another...

Thanks lfom to answer. I think I have the same problem with another recovery in a G800H thread too. It's hard to find an uptdated TWRP. Anyone can link me some?

{HELP!!!} P9 Bricked. All information is in first post.

I have a Huawei P9 EVA-L09.
I have accidentally deleted the vendor partition during the install of a custom rom and everything went downhill from that. After that I have been trying to flash the vendor partition from stock roms and images and I have tried everything I could to restore it.
I even tried different versions of TWRP and using fastboot as well but no luck.
If there is someone that can help me with this I would appreciate it very much.
It was on C432B502 update and I was trying to install RR custom rom.
Partition table is now screwed up and it shows me only 31.92 GB available on one empty name partition named 'linux' .
Is there any way that I can fix this????? I have heard that the repair in the official huawei repair shop is about 450$ . I don't have that much.
Is there anyone available to help me with it?

Just so you know I have been tampering with OEMinfo and bootloaders from other stock roms so can you direct me on how to do it because whenever I tried to use the vol + and vol - with power button it would stop saying that the package installation cannot continue. And I have tried everything, is there a step by step guide on how to rollback?
Thank you in advance. I would be really thankful if I got some guide or something on how to do it because I do not know how.
If you can enter TWRP, try https://forum.xda-developers.com/hon...overy-t3769279 . Should help!

Hello axe30, link is broken, please post working link so I can see what you're talking about. Btw none of the partitions exist in twrp, how am I gonna flash something if there are no partitions except boot and recovery?
Thanks in advance ?

[Q] After rooting my wifi is not working anymore someone help me

After rooting my phone the wifi is not working anymore no matyyhow i clock wifi on its keep turning off i try to reset factory data nothing change pleaseeeeeee guys help me
Hi,
First thing I'd do is to reset it to it's original state and thus unroot it.
Does that bring Wi-Fi back ?
Then I would re-root to se if that turns Wi-Fi off again.
If so , then it seems the unrooting has problem somewhere... I think I've seen that it implies playing with a modded kernel image or something like that. So it can easily cause problems.
If not then you probably unrooted it the wrong way first time.
Regards.
I had the same problem, fixed it by flashing the same boot.img that belongs to my os version (cn red magic 2.14).

Look up your build number in settings, mine is 2.14 as you can see in the screenshot.
Download the appropiate version you need from http://ui.nubia.cn/rom/detail/62
If you also have the China rom ofc.
Follow the root steps in the other screenshot.

Hi,
So if I get you right : I download the ROM for the Global version.
Once done I extract the boot.img and patch it with Magisk Manager.
And then I flash the patched file and it should be good ?
I'm going to try this right now
UPDATE : done. It works indeed

Hi,
Can you please tell me what version of the firmaware you're running ?
I think there are three of those :
- China
- North America
- Europe
To know which one you are running, just go to settings and at the very bottom "About this phone".
And there, at the very bottom, the version of the ROM used.
Without that info, I won't be able to provide the needed patched boot image.
I assume your bootloader is unlocked and you DID NOT install TWRP.
Regards.

Hi,
Yes, CN stands for China.
So you have Chinese 2.14 version.
I'll see if I can find that boot.img you need.
Please note : I will return the device vbecause of it's really BAD software.
So I will not be able to help any longer after this
Regards.
