Hide tablet taskbarThis is a simple module for hiding the bottom indicator bar in Android 12.1 (12L) tablet mode.

I've found all current indicator bar related module only apply to phone mode, so I made this module.
One more thing: If you flashed PixelExperience to your tablet, this module can also fix the wrong tablet taskbar height.

Thank you very much! I have been looking for this solution.

It seems there's a nonav fix that can be installed via CWM somewhere, but I wasn't able t locate the file.
Edit: Right then, never mind.
It's settings => hybrid properties => swipe right => interface => set bav. bar to 0%.

Yeah, but if ur in tablet mode, you cant change the nav bar size
I developed an app that can do this in stock rom and I just added Paranoid Android support. Would be nice if someone could try it and confirm that it works or report bugs: GMD Hide Soft Keys.
Benefits for PA:
1) you can turn on Notification with switch control to hide/show navigation bar from anywhere.
2) Quick NavBar can be displayed with swipe from bottom (similar way to Pie)
3) Quick NavBar has button to toggle Extended Mode (full screen).
More features coming :fingers-crossed:.

There is no navigation bar in the tablet mode, those are just the navigation keys in the Tablet mode on the common status cum navigation bar, the tablet mode makes your phone into a tablet and as tablets don't have a capacitive back key like the phone, tablet interfaces will have those keys and you can't get them away unless there is some MOD for it which you can search in themes and apps forum.
Hello all,
I just upgraded to the Moto g6, coming from the g5 with aokp ROM. My two most used and favorite features are the left and right arrows that appear in the navigation bar while typing, which allow the cursor to be accurately moved (annoyingly janky on the g6), and the ability to slide left or right over the notification bar to adjust the screen brightness without annoying extra swipes.
I was wondering if there is any way to get these two features on the Moto g6, as I have been missing them.
Thank your for your help!

Those were features of the custom ROM you were using. Not the device itself.
That said, I enabled those features on mine with an Xposed module. Gravitybox. Works great. But, using Xposed, safetynet will fail. But if that's not an issue for you, Xposed is the way to go.
Magisk for root
Xposed for magisk (in magisk repo)

Thank you for the help!
I had asked about installing modules, but using the Xposed unity installer in magisk seemed to be what worked. somehow ended up with a very old clunky version of the app, which was not detecting that Xposed was installed. I'm all set to go, thanks again!

Great to hear. I use those features as well. Especially the arrows in nav bar for the cursor.
I've had this feature on other ROMs before and it's very useful, I can no longer find anything like it, would love a module to allow this on Android 11.
Hi.
I've been using overscan through ADB to completely remove the status bar and navbar for a while as I don't want any unnecessary clutter on the screen and want to maximise the space I actually use, and yesterday when android 11 was finally rolled out I found out overscan's been removed.
I was wondering whether there is a way on android 11 to completely remove both while also having the current app fill the entire screen, punchhole included (no black bars or otherwise unused space); I tried using "fullscreen: the one immersive mode" but the bars still come back from time to time like when I go into the recents menu, and it doesn't solve the unused space issue either. Therefore, any solution relating to "immersive mode" likely won't work.
I use nova launcher which also hasn't been working since the update, Fluid Navigation Gestures (FNG) which is way better than the default gestures but now can't hide anything as it tries to use overscan.
Apart from this, the new update is neat; just to clarify, I want to get rid of the navbar and status bar with no unused space left over on either edge. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
I'll probably end up having to root, I don't know where to start there though so I'd rather not.
To enable full-screen mode, there are modules for Magisk

Thanks for the quick reply, I'll look into Magisk
Hi there dudes.
I'm searching a module that allows to use status bar gestures. To be exactly I search for a module to swipe at the status bar to change the brightness.
Googled for 2 days and only found an app (super status bar).
Is there a similar magisk module out there for Android 12?

I dont think you'll find a magisk module, but you can certailny simulate that with Xposed Edge module (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jozein.xedge&hl=pl&gl=US). Actually you can place brightness slide on whatevere screen edge you like. Plus this module has a ton of other funcionalities, especially in Pro version. You would need to install LSPosed framework first. If you are interested and need any help, let me know
You'll likely need Xposed. Gravitybox can do it, along with lots of other goodies. Easy to install through Lsposed magisk module.
