Today I recieved my Mi 8, but it has the china ROM on it.
So my question is:
Is it possible to flash the Global ROM without unlocking bootloader?
Because unlocking of the bootloader will delete the userdata.

No don't do it. Check my thread or some others on this forum if you do it'll brick your device.

i want to purchase the chinese version of mi 8 and i wanted to know if it is possible by now to flash the global rom (official of couse) without unlocking the bootloader?
Sorry It´s not possible:
With locked bootloader it´s just: chinese phone -> chinese ROM
if you unlock and install global, you must keep it unlocked or it won´t boot (soft brick).
I know this may be a stupid question but I'm looking to unlock the bootloader of my mi 8 global variant because I want to try a few different custom ROMs but I don't know if I will be able to relock the bootloader if I want to go back to the original Xiaomi firmware?
Any help will be appreciated

Unlock china version and re-lock with global/xiaomi.eu/custom bricks the phone.
Yeah you should be fine to relock if it's a global device.
But I think you'll also have to wait another 360h or more to unlock it again

I will install/Update my CN Rom to global.
I have seen many tutorials with a Flash Tool and unlock the bootloader, but i will Update from zip in the Update Option you will See in my Screenshot.
My Main question is
What i need and how can i Update?
I don't believe it's possible to change region when flashing a recovery ROM.

If using a mobile browser you need to view the page in desktop mode.
Personally I wouldn't risk trying. I seriously recommend you unlock the bootloader and flash a fastboot ROM if you want to change region. Here's the official guide for that.

However, you need to be aware that you must never re-lock the bootloader of a Chinese phone when flashing a global ROM. See here for more about that.

In the fastboot guide you need to make sure you change the flash option to 'clean all' before hitting the flash button.

you should unlock bootloader to flash from CN to Global or Global to CN .
just wait for 7 day to unlock bootloader .
