thanks man
Has anyone already had the time to test it? I have set for myself, that I'm first going to finish my thesis, before loading this rom. Anyway, thanks @J0SH1X for your effort!
Its works for me, but video output dont work via usb c.
Its a kernel thing?

Okay, so I flashed the ROM and originally when the internet was still working checked and it displayed L3, I tried to install NikGapps (Full) and Magisk however now the internet doesnt seem to be working (and I cant connect to new wifi networks) along with the pixel launcher (Here is my logcat), I will now do a clean reflash.

It seems that Wifi 5ghz doesn't work, along with that the os seems to be flimsy with dual sim once turned on the first time, however recovers when you set the defaults. Also I tried flashing magisk along with NikGApps and it doesn't seem to work, (I might've done something wrong?) anyway, I think ill just stick to my stock OS.

I guess nothing can be perfect, but thank you for making android 12 possible on this phone.
Hey @J0SH1X , thank you very much for your work! Almost everything works fine for me. Just two small things.
1. The encryption of the device does not work unfortunately. After starting the encryption it directly says "Wait while your phone is being encrypted. Time remaining 00:00". Tried it several times, and also left it encrypting over night, but it never finished (so always had to reboot the phone and than do a factory reset since the encryption was unsuccessful). Any idea or solution for that?
2. When the phone is off, and I plug in a cable to charge, the phone is (of course) rebooting after a short moment. But the touchscreen is completely not working than unfortunately, just the power and volume keys are working. So I have to reboot the phone with the revovery key combination. Any idea for that?
Happy to hear from any of you
Great work!
NikGApps kept crashing for me but BiTGApps did the trick. Enjoying the Lineage experience.
Help a noob out: I have Magisk installed, how do I gain root access? Thanks
(Edit) I tried the standard procedure from the Github repo after installing the Magisk apk directly from the phone but got stuck in a bootloop with the device that kept saying that it had to erase my data. Do I have to install from adb? Any suggestion?
There wouldn't happen to be a way to change to betalm from alphalm would there? Something similar to a cross flash or something. Lineage 19 on my G8 would be neat.
Hey @J0SH1X , and I got a second question here if you don't mind.
When the phone is off, and I plug in a cable to charge, the phone is (of course) rebooting after a short moment. But the touchscreen is completely not working than unfortunately, just the power and volume keys are working. So I have to reboot the phone with the revovery key combination. Any idea for that?
Thanks in advance
.
Thanks for your work,I am new here , I want to download a rom which is stable and power saving.

Kernel source for Urbane has been released, so I built TWRP for this device, based on lenok sources, since they are very similar. However, I only have LG G watch R, so I can't test it - that's where you come in.
download http://tasemnice.eu/bordel/TWRP_clean_bass_20150530-test02.img
reboot the device into bootloader with adb reboot bootloader (debugging has to be enabled in developer settings)
fastboot boot TWRP_clean_bass_20150530-test02.img (that way, it won't rewrite your current recovery).
Report back if it boots. If it doesn't, be as descriptive as possible about what it does instead.
The bootloader has to be unlocked first, of course (should be just fastboot oem unlock, erases all data on the device).
Hopefully we'll finally have the system dump from this device)

works but the layout is off
See here
flashing su as now and getting dump
I cant flash anything because the swipe bar on twrp is to low(cant reach it) could you position the whole layout of twrp a bit higher and and a bit to the left(or if you wan't to show off make it scrollable) also the recovery doesn't stick after flashing after 1st reboot it reverts back to android recovery, but that is just an android wear thing I guess....
on the picture you can even see the swipe bar it is not completely on the screen (the bright blue line on the bottom

Right, nice, gonna try to fix that ASAP. In the meantime - adb should work, you should be able to dump it there. I can walk you through it on IRC, I'm on irc.freenode.net as Tassadar, in #twrp or #multirom: https://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=#multirom
EDIT: should be fixed in this one http://tasemnice.eu/bordel/TWRP_clean_bass_20150530-test02.img

I need one more thing - logcat. Run "adb logcat -d > logcat.txt" on your computer and upload the file for me somewhere please.

I have a watch urbane but I flashed the wrong system file and it's now turned basically into a G Watch R. The file you provided is not in a format I'm used to. I usually flash with fastboot, system.img, boot.img and recovery.img, but in this archive it's only in TWRP format. Anyone could help by converting the files?
Thanks a lot!

you could while in TWRP > mount system then
"adb push <backup folder> /sdcard/TWRP/BACKUPS/<device serial number>/backup." then restore with TWRP.
i just rebooted on accident after wiping everything... that was a scare..
FUTURE Reference: if you are stuck at the LG splash screen with no ADB or FASTBOOT - hold down power button, watch will vibrate keep holding, once it turns off and turns back on let go of power and drag your finger from 10:30 to 4:30, it will take you to fastboot.... yes same as GWR.
Woo woo! Thank you. Looking forward to getting this on the watch asap.

Why don't you use the link from post #10?
Thanks, but I've managed to find another link out of xda, anyway, I've already done everything to the watch, unlocked bootloader, installed TWRP and also pushed by adb sideload the new version of Android wear, the bass version one (LCA44B) and all went fine.
Although I will going to take the Smartwatch to warranty, cause lately, not always, he's been doing a strange thing... After fully charged, the screen in top center, starts to blink (of White color), kind of a flat-tire inverted really strong like a flash! Obviously it's a glitch of some kind that affects the screen... Even with a reboot, he keeps doing it while booting... Lucky of me... Damned...

Did you install twrp?
download minimal-adb-fastboot-1-4-2-exe
Download twrp-3.3.1-1-olive.img
Rename twrp-3.3.1-1-olive.img to twrp.img and put in the folder with minimal-adb-fastboot.exe
open "Minimal ADB and Fastboot"
Type in the following command and press Enter
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
Wait for your phone to boot into bootloader mode. You can boot your phone in bootloader mode by pressing and holding Volume Up + Power key
Type in the following command and press Enter
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
After the recovery is flashed, enter the following command. But right after the phone power offs, press and hold Power button as well as Volume Up button so that the phone boots into TWRP and it patches itself. Otherwise, you would have to flash TWRP again.
Code:
fastboot reboot
Installed this rom and worked well except fingerprint, looking forward for the updates! :good:
Installed and works fin, except from the lock screen.
When screen locks, remains unresponsive and need to reboot in order to use the phone.
tried changing lock screen settings but not working
Any idea how to solve?

In smartphones with crappy software like meizu I get it why people install custom rom even though they're riddled with bugs, laggy and lack a lot of features. But why would anyone choose that over MIUI? It's one of the best android forks out there!

Lineage doesn't contain so much bloatware, it tracks less info about a user than a manufacturer rom, there are less spying apps, it is slightly faster due to a cleaner and lighter ui, it uses less battery, and, subjectively, after years of using LOS on various smartphones, it is more comfortable to stay on a familiar ui than to get accustomed to a new ui. the only useful thing miui has and LOS doesnt - clone apps (2 different whatsapp accounts, one for an each sim, are useful).

So i finally managed to install this great custom rom.
I too get this message everytime i reboot, but i haven't noticed any problem that comes along with the message.
The only problem i was faced with was fingerprint not working, and i'm honestly not too bothered with it, yet if that were to be addressed i couldn't be any happier.
"Bonjour" everyone
install and works, with the internal system error and SElinux alert on reboot like some other
But I have no mobile data (4G/3G/2G) and no bluetooth connexion. (wifi OK) and no fingerprint, but this last pblm is known.
And no baseband in phone settings !
someone got an idea to solve my pblm please ?
Flashed with the lolz v7 kernel after installing the lineage rom unoffical olive, but no Gapps installed.
Thank you so much,
FIXED: Do this if you have a boot loop:
In TWRP go to Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Repair and select one by one all of the possible partitions except USB OTG and Micro SD Card
adb sideload the ROM again and press reboot, EVEN if it says no OS
If you aren't successful, keep trying. I managed to do it by rebooting lots of times and a couple hours.
==========================
Guys i'm having problems installing this ROM:
I unlocked the bootloader with the toot that Xiaomi provides and everything fine:
(bootloader) Device tampered: false
(bootloader) Device unlocked: true
(bootloader) Device critical unlocked: true
(bootloader) Charger screen enabled: false
(bootloader) Display panel: OKAY [ 0.070s]
I checked the status from the fastboot oem device-info, and everything is correct
I installed TWRP from the official source (twrp-3.3.1-1-olive.img)
I wiped all dalvik, data, internal storage, cache, system and vendor partitions
I did adb sideload and it says success but at the top of the screen it says "E: Unable to decrypt FBE device", I don't know if this has something to do
I downloaded the latest version of the ROM (lineage-17.1-20200127-UNOFFICIAL-olive.zip) and checked the MD5, everything correct
TL;DR: The problem is that I am stuck in a boot loop with no OS
I can see that others managed to install it without any problem, so It would be nice if you went through a gotcha. I want to start developing afterwards, but I'm stuck =(
unable to decrytpt fbe device pls help

Hi,
I have the same probleme and also the "there is an internal problem with your device"
the "com.qualcomm.qcrilmsgtunnel" crash at the start of my phone, I think it's linked with no mobile data error ??
Best regard
Can we flash this rom on olive lite 8a , bcz we don't have any custom Roms for this
Everything works fine for me, I want to share my experience.
I have the Xiaomi Redmi 8 M1908C3IG. I am on Ubuntu 18.04 so I had to use some tools that work on Linux.
what I did:
installed the latest official ROM olive_global_images_V11.0.11.0.PCNMIXM_20200519.0000.00_9.0_global_2813f928ed.tgz
unlocked the bootloader with XiaoMiTool-V2 you have to wait 7 days
installed TWRP with XIAOMI-TOOL-MiFlash-for-Linux-by-IceMan-master
in TWRP I wipe every option in Advanced wipe, then I had to Format Data and reboot
in TWRP I installede via sideload - adb sideload lineage-17.1-20200127-UNOFFICIAL-olive.zip and adb sideload open_gapps-arm64-10.0-pico-20200705.zip
On every boot I get "Android-System Es liegt ein internes Problem mit deinem Gerät vor. Bitte wende dich diesbezüglich an den Hersteller"
And then "com.qualcomm.qcrilmsg... wird wiederholt beendet"
Other then that everything works fine.

you have to use the password you used on the original Install. I think you could still restore everything with the official app from Xiaomi and then try again!

Thanks for this ROM...

show fps does not work
Great rom, very smooth and battery friendly, also have a good performance for games and nice customizations.
I'm using v7.0 since last week and got some random reboots while charging. Is that only me?
Another interesting thing is that rom is using coral device fingerprint, not onclite, which cause troubles with safetynet. Easily solved by downloading a module fix with props command in terminal emulator.
Waiting for the next v8.0 release
Edit: show fps and night mode aren't working too
Great ROM!, it's light, fast, very customizable, and it has a cool boot animation, but it's a bit unstable though
Bugs i found:
- Show fps doesn't work
- Apps label looks kinda glitchy in corvus launcher while scrolling
- Night light doesn't work

I've experienced this error before when i tried to do ./fastboot boot [name of recovery], i searched the solution on google and one of the solutions is to make sure that only 1 device connected to your pc/laptop, if you have multiple devices connected to your pc/laptop then disconnect it and make sure the only one that's connected is your phone.
If that doesn't work then try rebooting your pc/laptop

Type in adb "fastboot format data" and then "fastboot format cache"
Reboot back to the os
So basically what you're doing is deleting the data and the cache partition and then reformatting it, there's an easier way to do this by just formatting it, but i just don't know the command (sorry I'm a newbie too)
Note: if you're using powershell instead of cmd make sure to type "./" first before every command. Example: "./adb devices"

Try wiping the dalvik, cache and data in recovery. If that doesn't work try formatting those 3 partitions in recovery

This rom(corvus os) worked best for me, I've experienced some stutter and lag on lineage os but not on corvus os. Flash SiLonT kernel and you get the same performance but with better battery life with corvus os
I use CODM with low graphics and medium framerate to test it btw. You should notice the difference since pubg is a battle royale game. But i tested corvus os with codm battle royale and the lowest framerate I've experienced is 30ish fps(with SiLonT kernel installed)
Is the development of this ROM still active? I realized that download link was removed from OP and the last corvus version here on XDA was v6.5.
I have been able to download and install v7.0 that i'm using right now from this site MOD EDIT: Link Removed but this is the latest build available, it was uploaded 2020/07/10 and we haven't had any updates since then. The latest corvus os build available for other phones is v8.5.
I really liked corvus os but it still have some bugs like random reboots, show fps and night mode not working, and also a outdated security patch from March.
I would appreciate if this project continues alive and the manteiner(s) bring us some new fixes and features from newer versions.
Greetings
Magisk version

Hello, did you test the variant of the 19 or 23?
Any1 that tried it can tell pros and cons vs LG stock Android 10 rom ?.
I'd like to try it but that means loosing DTS: X codec, equalizer or whatever it is that makes sound much better, and as long as I know Android 11 is worse than 10 for gaming, isn't it?
Does this rom has newer & better drivers for Adreno GPU?

I change everything a bit, the rom is obviously more stock and faster, especially if you use the gestures for navigation, it is true you lose the audio features, On the gaming side, I think it doesn't change much and I think it has the same drivers as the stock rom. The sure thing is that if you love android "stock" it is much better, unfortunately it is still very unripe for certain aesthetic things(For example the "notification panel" top bar turns out to be lower than the height of the notch, but you can fix it through some mods and magisk) but maybe soon it will be fixed.
I need help, I flash both the boot.img and the dtbo.img like said in the instructions and when I try to reboot into said Lineageos recovery it never works and I tried ever feasible key combination and it never goes into a lineageos recovery to continue the flashing, Any help or feed back would be appreciated.

I would recommend a flash of the stock system and then repeat the steps, if the volume keys and the Power on / off work you should go to the lineage recovery. Have you checked if there is any error during the terminal flash? Or check the files by re-downloading them, let me know if it works, to enter recovery mode you have to keep the volume key down and the power key, at the first writing you have to leave the power key and then press it again

Ok well I managed to get the recovery working by tapping the volume down key while the lg logo was up but now every time I try to adb sideload the Lineageos file it get's stuck at 47% on computer and then spits out an error saying failed to read command no error I've tried a number of "fixes" to no avail.

I initially had the same problem apparently maybe you have multiple versions of adb installed, try to delete and uninstall everything and then install only one, check that the zip file is not damaged by simply opening it from the PC, if it gives you an error that will be the problem , if you had to try several times to transport the file through adb sidelaod just go to advanced and restart the recovery and then try the step again

I've uninstalled and reinstalled adb drivers on my computer but I'm still getting the same problem I think I'll just wait until there's a twrp recovery for the device being that it makes processes like this a whole lot easy, Thank you for the help anyway I appreciate it.
You can only install 19 the others don't work .. even if you install 19 and try to update to the latest version after the update it doesn't work anymore.

Its normal for it to get "stuck" at 47%, because at that point its sideloaded to device already and should already be showing its installing on the device, it does give a wierd error but installs anyway, allow it to install and make sure you erased userdata in fastboot before trying to flash
Btw - you can install from ext SD as well not just sideload
If all fails, restore with LGup and make sure you first boot into lg rom and pass setup and FRP, device gives a wierd formatting bootloop if you dont.
Boot into fastboot
Erase userdata
Flash boot and dtbo
Boot into los recovery
Sideload /install zip from SD
After installing step 2 passes, reboot, give it a minute, rom should be booted
HI guys! i have any hard problem, i've delete all partition with "QFIL" and i've not files backup.qcn or rawprogram.xml or patch. Please if is possible load here your files for help me- ty much guys
Qualcuno può aiutarmi?
I tried installing crDroid (unlock bootloader, uploaded FW, recovery SHRP, then install ROM) and after reboot the phone would go back to recovery.
By mistake I "installed" SHRP from ZIP package (I thought I need to install latest recovery file to install ROM with android 12) and phone went into reboot loop, I can't do anything, any key combination doesn't help - I can't even turn it off.
help!
I opened the phone, disconnected the battery, but nothing happened - still bootloop
I'm planning to use SP Flash Tool
Immediately after connecting USB C, the phone boots into bootlop (after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery)
What happens when you flash the custom ROM?
Try to flash the stock firmware and miui
again. Download the latest miui recovery ROM for Lancelot and copy it to the sd card. If you can still boot into recovery you can connect the phone with a PC.
You can also try to reboot into bootloader if the reboot options work from sharp, if not connect the phone to a PC with adb and fastboot installed on it and type:
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
And now if you are in fastboot you can do anything, you can try to reflash the firmware, recovery etc.
I personally don't use SHRP, it was really buggy and not great. I use the twrp from this link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/recovery-twrp-unofficial-twrp-recovery-3-6-1_11-0.4421301/.
Thanks for reading and I hope u succeed,
Bye.
U can also try to flash it with MI flash tool.

At the time of writing, no key combination was working - I can't get into Fastboot or Recovery. I let the battery run out for that moment.

That's what I'll do first, then move on to the solution below.
I opened the phone and disconnected the battery, but plugging in the USB cable immediately turns the phone on and bootloops again.
I'm using Linux and Windows, and one user hinted at hacking the USB driver so I believe it won't boot the phone, only then will I have communication? Other than that I don't know how to do it anyway.
For now, after the phone's battery runs out, I'll try with this solution

I got to the point of connecting the phone to the computer and it connects (the procedure says to use the Power button, but I had to disconnect the battery because Bootloop was falling in), using the Vol- button - the phone keeps connecting and disconnecting....
For a while I tried to connect the phone via SP Flash under Linux - in administrator mode the message "memory protection violation" appears (I don't know how the message is in English).
Adding a udev exception was supposed to help - after lsusb the Mediatek device appeared, I added the exception, restarted - and the same thing happens (the program crashes).
I finally managed (with the help of a group on telegram https://t.me/HelioG85_Unified) by switching off the phone and carefully going through all the points (except the update at the very end) from this link

Wow so many posts... Did you manage to fix the phone now? What do you mean by SP Flash will not fit the DA? Did you download the eng ROM for Lancelot? BTW I haven't done this kind of thing, but when I tried to flash my Lancelot with SP Flash tool it didn't work, because it was just waiting for device.

Other versions of SP Flash (newer) other than in the package with ENGROM didn't work with DA file with manual from links given above - it had to be the one from the package. SP Flash showed errors and crashed or informed about wrong file.

The battery trick does'nt work for me. I can't remember exact version, sorry - but my way was going BACK with SP Flash tool version (from newest to working with file). When I found right version the rest was only going with procedure.
I did it twice: first time I was scared, second - with finding right version of SPFT, every time - like walk in the park. Looong walk all procedure was like 2-3 hours.
Second one try was after trying to load Andorid 13 (2x). Don't do it kids!
After all, my Revolut app stop working lately on my phone and Redmi is retired for now... (and also becoming unusable because slowing dramatically)
Thanks for your answer. it has worked with battery empty (though that might not have benn necessary); not on 1st atttempt v5.2020 but it did with version 5v.2216 in case it might help someone...it didnt flash miui fastboot rom 12.5 but it did flash engineering rom. and from there i will twrp and miui.
Thanks for your suggestion of trying different spflash versions.
