Really waiting for it. But more than this I am waiting for a custom ROM for my phone..
Maybe this is why they didn't release a patch in a while. Hope this update is going to be good.

True!! But we dont have a stable TWRP yet..
And I'm worried to install any Experimental builds as I screwed my last phone by doing so... I lost my IMEI for ever.
Meanwhile I've been trying to build an AOSP PIE rom from source using the kernel from ASUS website on GCP but it fails with an error every time.
Looks like there's lots more to learn.
great news hope the camera improves too.

It seems like there are very few developers who have Z5Z. Most of them would have rather gone for oneplus 6 or the poco F1. I am too coming from oneplus 2 and I am huge flash-o-holic. With 5Z, there is a bit of disappointment on that front. It is really good to know that there are few developers who are working on this device. All the best for your work.

We all know 5z is way too better than poco F1. I have both devices and i personally use 5z. Excpt for hardware, daylight camera and battery poco is just a dissapointment. But since it has a developer support
So people prefer poco over 5z

Amazing work. Will try as soon as I get my Oneplus 6t.
Anyone test this yet? I am interested in getting the Oneplus 6t, but I will only do so if nethunter is able to work for the device.

I've installed it on my 6t and can report that this kernel is functional. From what I've seen it's still being updated/worked on by the dev, but as is I can access the nethunter terminal and run commands.

Thank you for the response. Are there any hiccups you are experiencing? What ROM are you currently using?

I'm currently on OOS Ob4. As far as hiccups the kernel is smooth and battery life is actually really good. As far as nethunter itself? One thing I've noticed is that if I run a commands in the Kali terminal let's say airodump-ng and it's running. If for whatever reason my screen times out and turns off for a bit, or even if I switch to another screen real quick to check something. I've noticed that many times the Kali terminal process is killed and well I have to start over again. Not sure if it's Kali itself or even a kernel/OOS issue. Overall though, it is functional and in very early development stages. So I'm sure it only gets better from here.

Okay cool, thank you for your response. Looks Like I will be back on android after years of being an iPhone user.
Where are the commits for Kali that you added to the holyangel kernel? I would like to see what changed.

Not a big issue, remove nethunter terminal from battery optimization, faced this in my op2 and it took me almost one week to figure out this ****ty reason, btw still using op2
awesome work bro, looking forward to your continued development on this project!
I am yet to see Nethunter work properly on a A/B device. Can you either post a Guide to Nethunter Installation guide in this Thread or create another thread under OP6T Guides???

Would be nice if it was in English!
It's unfortunate that you will discontinue the project. Looked promising. :crying: I hope you change your mind and continue working on it.
I hope you reconsider your decision to discontinue this project, you brought something really important to the community and we are all grateful for it. I hope you can rise above those who made you feel that way because they're jealous and continue this project.
I also hope you think about it again when emotions settle. If you continue your development there will be many grateful users, as there already are, for sure! You did not promise to make no mistakes, you did not promise to be a perfect developer, you just tried to share your work and thats totally fine, if not even so crucial for the XDA community. You seem like someone who is still learning and growing on his efforts and thats great, XDA really needs people like you. Of course, one should always be open for constructive criticism, but you really dont have to justify yourself for anything. Degredation and making fun of your work isn't constructive, of course. Those two do definitely not belong here and it's sad to see that happening.
So anyone able to do a COMPLETE installation of Kali Nethunter on ANY A/B Device Successfully yet? I tried on OG Pixel XL, Pixel 2 XL, OP6, OP6t, Moto Z2 Force, etc, etc... English Instructions would be greatly appreciated!
I want to express how grateful I am that you even undertook this project. I am a net/data security consultant and I use various tools/OS's etc in my profession, and have used nethunter (still do) on my nexus 6. I hope you reconsider your choice to give up on the development. Most people that comment here, or anywhere on the internet, are uninformed, ignorant, and uneducated. It's individuals like you that provide a much needed service to the scene, and even if you do not decide to continue development, I greatly appreciate the effort you put into it thus far bro.
I've been using OnePlus 3T for almost 3 years now and planning to switch to either Redmi K20 Pro or Realme X2 Pro. The stakes are matched one-to-one pretty much, as far as my requirements are concerned, except for one thing.
XDA activity/ custom ROMs, which I love with OnePlus 3T. Though not an extreme flashaholic, and because I'm ditching OnePlus for its pricing strategy, near-stock OS or the choice of custom OS is my only deal-breaker against X2 Pro.
I do understand that X2 Pro is quite new while the K20 Pro has been in around for a decent while and picked up a more-than-decent choice of custom ROMs (Havoc/Pixel Experience/LOS), I would like to understand how well X2 Pro is being received/adopted by the developer community. If the adoption is decent, I am ready wait a little longer for it and get X2 Pro!
I'm eargerly waiting custom roms too.
I might even consider to make a thread to raise money to send a device to some devs I contacted that might be willing to work on the realme X2 pro.
But for the moment I'm waiting realme to fix the fingerprint issue when unlocking bootloader otherwise no custom roms will be feasible.
I tried GSIs from AOSP, LineageOS and PixelExperience, all of them get me into boot loops. I'm also really hoping for a custom rom to come out soon, ColorOS is very disappointing.

With ColorOS7 Realme will makes a more Android-factory feeling

I hope so, though I have the CN version which would probably disappoint again.
My first smartphone was a Windows Mobile. I got my hands on an android phone very late. But it was actually fortunate as the information about how, do and don't was readily available then. After I started to use my android phone I quickly came to know about XDA because I was very much interested in trying custom ROM (stock based) than MIUI. But I was glad I bought this particular model (mido). It's been 4 years since then but I still have my first android phone up and running smoothly powered by LOS 18.1.
I am thankful for the hard work that all the developers put in bringing so much to masses for free.

Yeah those amazing WM times!, I still have my HTC Universal working!.
Glad to aquaintance an old timer!
Hello Everybody,
After saving a lot I'm thinking about buying this flagship or the Mi 12 pro. I'm pretty sure i won't be able to handle the colour os clone or even miui. Have any devs snapped up this device by now ? I always thought one plus devices have good custom ROM support but now im not sure itll be the same for this device. Could you guys give me some suggestions?
I would say if your looking to do custom roms and rooting don't get the 10 pro. There's no msm tool to fix your phone if it gets bricked. At least there isn't yet
