Getting audio delay while playing games like Apex mobile and call of duty. I am using OnePlus buds pro earbuds. Is there any way to solve this issue?
I lost one of my buds, let me know if you're selling yours mate
I never had this issue personally.. They were phenomenal headphones

Hello.
I made little comparision with Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and I noticed that earpiece in Note 4 is much louder and punchier than one inside Mi Max 2. Some other users of Max 2 said that they are very satisfied with incall quality and volume of top speaker. I'm not quite impressed with mine. Sometimes I can't hear a thing when I talk on street or in bus. Does anyone have same problem with their Max2? Maybe my speaker have malfunction?
Best Wishes.
Mi max 2 top speaker volume is too low
Yes my dear the same issue I'm having in mine max 2 the sound is too low that I have to turn on speaker mode on call to understand what he she saying...... When I purchased this mi max 2 it was not like this before it has come with dual stereo speakers and the sound was very stronger but after someone miui updates there is some problems still not solved what to do now.
Has anyone here tried the Samsung Galaxy Buds with the P20 Pro? Does it work well?
I'm considering buying them but I have concerns regarding the bluetooth codec compatability and the difference in bluetooth versions.
There was a review published by The Verge yesterday for the Galaxy Buds - they don't seem all that tbh.
Might be worth looking at something else?

I have them since yesterday. They use AAC on the P20 pro (even though thats not a supported codec according to Huawei's spec sheet) and seem to work fine so far. No connection drop outs if I am in the proximity of my phone. Pairing was easy with the Samsung Wearable app.

I watched the video too. I used the Taotronics BH-026 (bluetooth but not truly wireless) until I got the buds. Sound quality is similar as long as you activate the dynamic equalizer in the app. Cannot say if thats a good thing or not since I am comparing them to 20 € headphones.
I dont think the ambient sound mode is not as "roboty" as the verge says but more a gimic than a useful feature. The microphones seem to do an acceptable job with a recording app but I have not tried to do an extended phone call with them.
hi mates,
i'm wondering if the sound output (from earbuds) is loud enough or is still faint like on the p20 pro. thx for your testings
Im using it and it sounds better even than in the note 9
I bought 2 p30 pros. Bothwith the cheapest China headphones. I came from the s8 plus, and I have to say the AKGs that came with the Samsung have quality. These headphones that came with the p30 pro are ****. Like the crappy iPhone knockoff headphones ... Seriously. Am I the only one?

this is a region thing
Some region's carriers remove the headphones, others replace them with cheaper options.
The ones I have are standard quality. Not great, about similar to Apple quality.
The AKG "tuned" ones Samsung provides are better, but not much. Again, I wouldnt say they are great either
If you care about the quality of your headphones, why would you ever use the ones that came with any phone? Any good set of headphones will work with any phone. I'd rather phones came with terribly cheap headphones, so I don't waste money paying for things I won't use.

In europe the Huawai headphone that came together with the phones where never really good.
Because of that ive bought those:
"Huawei Active Noise Canceling Earphone 3" and also figured out that the P30 pro is worse in terms of music compared to the Mate 10 pro.

I'm curious as to what setup you're using that you've found the P30 Pro worse for music. I've been pleasantly surprised by the quality of BT audio from the P30 Pro using LDAC compatible devices.

Iam using no BT headphones, iam using those:
https://consumer.huawei.com/at/accessories/earphones-cm-q3/
for both, the Mate 10 Pro and P30 pro and the P30 does not sound as good as the Mate.
Definitely it's the worst headphones that I have.. For a flagship, even if I won't use it, I expected more quality.
Hello. New to the forums.
So I got my first Mi phone. Coming from a samsung Galaxy S8.
Love the phone however I can get the mic on my 3.5mm headphones to work?
In a call, I can hear the other person but they can't hear me through the external mic.
I tried using the headphone that come with the s8 and the apple wired airpods.
I'm on the Mi 9T global version with firmware stock global 10.3.11.
Has anyone else tried it with same issue?
Any pointers?
I have Same issue with AKG Earphones the Mic won't work. it's not fitted probably.

Just saw this article that says an external mic won't work. Not sure how accurate it is. https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com...ortant-video-feature/articleshow/70339311.cms
It definitely works on the audio recorder app, though. Seems like a MIUI bug. I remember Discord on Poco F1 at first had the same issue
edit: a thread about this problem already exist btw... https://forum.xda-developers.com/k20-pro/help/external-microphone-3-5mm-audio-jack-t3961228

My apologies. I thought I'd more detail in my thread about my phone and the headphones I've used. The mic doesnt work on the audio recorder app either for me.
Edit : Can anyone with Mi 9T global miui try plugging some headphones with mic and see if the mic works? I'm not sure if mine is defective unit and need to be sent back or not.

I ordered some Xiaomi Headphones and surprising they worked.
it seems Xiaomi have pulled an apple move and doesn't work with all headphones.
My problem is solved now
