Hello everyone,
Did anyone try to Install GApps Magisk module on Redmi note 9?
I want to Flash MIUI China rom so I want to know if flashing GApps Magisk modules work on this device or not
Knowing that I don't want to use a custom recovery. Thanks in advance.

So, my device, Redmi 4x is rooted, has a custom recovery which is TWRP, is running MIUI 9, Android 7.1.2 and I want to use Substratum. I read some Xiaomi Mobiles like Redmi Note 3 and they say that they can use it. Will I also be able to do that? I want to ask you guys before doing it because I don't want to bootloop my phone.
Hi,
MIUI 9 isn't compatible with Substratum.
You need a rom with OMS compatibility.
I ve bought a xiaomi mi 8 which is a chinese version but it has unlocked bootloader and also came with global beta rom,so I updated it to latest which is MIUI 10 9.5.9
I want to install a custom rom like pixel experience rom etc..... Can you tell me which twrp recovery should I install, whats the procedure and all that stuff because I am a noob
Kindly help me please
First of all, Thank You for your time.
This is the first time I am going to try custom rom (MIUI 11.0 STABLE RELEASE From xiaomi.eu). There are many TWRP versions, also Orange Fox, but I cant find anything official. Which one should I use?
I am on Official Global 10.3.2 (Mi 9T Pro Rom). Do I need to install Miui 11 first before installing xiaomi.eu rom?
Thanks again, appreciate the help.
u can install twrp in ur running version, no need to install any other version.
u can search in youtube for better understanding as u r doing it for the first time.
no need official twrp. unofficials are ok.

Dude, you don't need to install miui 11. The first thing you need to do is to install TWRP with Android 9.0 and 10 support "TWRP 3.3.1-15 Unofficial by mauronofrio" that works flawlessly on the k20 pro and Mi 9t pro models. Then upload the Magisk zip file immediately when you log in to the TWRP screen. After you do this, you can install any Custom Rom file.
And if you have the Mi 9T Pro remember only Mauronofrio's TWRP is working. Abhisheks doesn't work with it.
You can also try orangefox version 10.0-7. It's the latest I think.
FYI, MIUI.eu's ROMS all have TWRP as their default recovery. Tested both 10.4.6 and 11.0.2 without issues. Magisk 19.4 and 20.0 also installs without problems.
Hi , I have installed Official TWRP and Installed the Latest Xiaomi EU for Redmi 8
My question are how to flash a Gsi? Do I need to go back to global rom? Or the flashing are still the same? Like flash the vbmeta.img before I install a gsi? And vice-versa from gsi to Eu
Thanks in advanced , I'm really new to custom roms want to learn more...
Seems like it's not compatible... Must I rather use and convert the Magisk 25.0 apk
i am on 25.1 (25100)

You do something completely wrong if you cant follow guides or search. Would be better if you dont flash your phone if you not even skilled to read and search.
Root guide with Magisk 24.3, why you use Magisk 22?
