Hello ,i Saw in the Asus forum that someone increased the performance of his rog phone 3 (Snap dragon 865+) in genshin impact with constant 60 FPS and no throtling at all and i was wondering how he could increase that much performance just by using a custom kernel and some other software ?
Genre the link: https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/46728/genshin-impact-on-rog3
And an average rog phone 3 reach almost 40 FPS or more.

Hi,
I want to ask if it is possible to limit fps in games to get better battery life. I saw on benchmarks that Tegra 2 actually doesn´t have fps limiter like SGS 2.
PS: I don´t know much about this. Correct me if I´m not true.
what is best setting in hardcore tuning for rog 2 can anyone provide since i dont really know what parameters i need to max out. any help would me appreciated
There’s nothing online i searched everywhere for hardcore tuning settings ;(

Hello mate.
I know you asked for advanced settings in hardcore tuning but i would suggest to stick with Gaming Tuning, they are actually great.
I tested plenty of settings because i do Live Streaming with the ROG and i need long lasting top performance so i can exhibit these case scenarios:
1: Extreme Performance and responsiveness.
2: High performance and responsiveness.
3: Long lasting top Performance.
NB. Every case will give you top notch performance for gaming, what it changes it's how fast the phone will heat up.
1. The phone will always express the best performance possible but it will heat up in a short period time. (10 minutes) You don't really need this.
- Xmode: Ultimate
- CPU: 2.96
- Temperature Control: High
2. The phone will always express almost best performance but it will require more time to heat up (30 minutes)
- Xmode: Ultimate
- CPU: 2.42
- Temperature Control: High
3. The phone will still express almost best performance when needed but it will slowly heat up only with high CPU usage. (stick to this settings in the case of long gaming sessions)
- Xmode: Advanced
- CPU: 2.42
- Temperature Control: High
3B. The phone will express best performance when needed but it will heat up rapidly with high CPU usage.
- Xmode: Advanced
- CPU: 2.96
- Temperature Control: High
NB. For better gaming performance DO NOT lower the temperature control or it will eventually cap your CPUs to much lower frequencies.
Hope this will help
Hey folks I was just running some 3d extreme test benchmarks on latest Xiaomi Eu beta and compared those results with some devices out there. The other devices results I'm using are from sakitech YouTube channels I'll post the link below. I'm just posting the results of the android devices and not he iphone since it not android software.
So the results a a bit interesting:
I ran the test using first the stock freq, modified freq and also no freq limit.
For the stock freq Results :
Top loop: 1198
Lowest loop : 1195
Stability : 99.7%
Temp: 40-41 c
Battery lost : 10
Frame rate : 5-9 fps
For no freq limit mod:
Top loop : 1488
Lowest loop : 1263
Stability: 84.9%
Temp: 28-44 c
Battery lost:13%
Frame rate : 5-11 fps
Mod freq(little:1804 big:2419 prime:2150)(GPU 738)
Top loop:1374
Lowest loop : 1286
Stability : 93.6%
Temp: 39-43%
Battery lost :13%
Frame rate : 6-11 fps
Google pixel 6 pro
Best loop: 1916
Lowest loop: 925
Stability: 48.3%
Battery lost : 10%
Frame rate : 4-15
Samsung S21 Ultra
Best loop: 1476
Lowest loop:908
Stability: 61.5%
Battery lost: 8%
Frame rate: 4-11 fps
So what does the results tell us:
From watching the results at the end of the video and comparing it to my device ( will be comparing against my OnePlus 7t later ) I found that :
Googles tensor had the highest value loop but it only was only able to mantiene it for the first minute googles performance over time goes down by almost 50% to the point where it has a lower value than Samsung and Xiaomi in sustained performance.
Samsung had the least battery drop it also had the biggest battery if not mistaken but also suffered from a 40% performance lost but was not consistent than pixel.
Now the mi 11 with the beta a12 was the most consistent in terms of performance but lost the most battery which is logical since it kept the same performance overall.
For me the best output was the mi 11 considering it was the one who kept it more stable through out the test.
Btw It was also more stable then the iphone 13 pro max in terms of sustained performance according the results.
I know user had complained in the past for the overheating issues of the mi 11 but I been doing some testing vs other devices I own and it not as high people report at least. As a reference point I play genshin impact at full graphics and I can play with out issues.
What results are you guys getting?

So ive read that you're able to increase game performance by removing the Samsung game launcher/optimiser service, anyone able to post how?
is doing so any beneficial? I used to have a rog phone 3 which played pubg better than my Exynos 2100 S21u does and was hoping to squeeze some more performance out of it to hopefully on par with the RP3
for those of you that have gotten better game performance, what fps in pubg/fortnite do you get, is it worth doing so?
Install this magisk module it can help abit to sustain better performance for long time.
Cautions
1-phone will heat more than usual
2-iam not responsible for any thing may happen to your phone (i tested it works like magic)
Well, I was thinking of buying 7 or the pro, but the performance in games has me in doubt, someone has played heavy games, such as Génsei impact, how is the performance in this game
It plays every game fine as long as you don't max out the settings.

What do you mean by not maximizing? Because of the heating?

What I mean is that the games tend to be tuned for their best performance out of the box. If you jack up the settings beyond that, you'll start losing frames, especially in Genshin since just about every Android struggles to get 60FPS maxed out.
Tensor is basically a tweaked Exynos 2100 and as you can see from the guide here, it's a high end performer (look at the table, I don't think they have updated the blurb about Exynos being beaten by a 3 year old chip because that's the 980, the 2100 is much better and the GPU in the Tensor G2 is better than the 2100's anyway).

saccording to that table the s21 With the 2100 it performs well, but what about warming up with pixel 7, how will it be, does it lower performance or does it maintain it?

All of these devices heat up and throttle, the Pixel is no exception, but its relative average performance is still better than the Exynos 2100.
You can also cut down the heat and increase performance by tweaking down graphics settings obviously. It's not really that noticeable on these displays anyway.
Here you can see it running around 45~60 FPS on high on a Pro. I didn't check if he is running it at 1080p or 1440p though so performance on the 7 may be better or the same. Dude comments that even the 8 Gen 1 has the same frame drops.
Thanks , bro
