[Q] Lots of Questions about everything !

Hello I have lots of questions
1) is there a way to make active display or tap to wake up phone?
2) on my previous phone if I clicked on the volume key button the phone would turn on?- can I do it on here?
3) there are many more apps like contextual services and lots of other Motorola apps. Which are safe to disable?
4) is there a way to block OTA updates?
5) when you swipe down using two fingers you get the notification pull menus. But when I click the wifi button it opens the settings app and goes to wifi. Can't I edit it so it goes DIRECTLYY to. Toggle wifi?
6) pin on lock screen - on my old phones when I input my pin it unlockes. This is so stupid and takes more longer after inputtingmy pin. I then have to click enter? How do I automate that

1) You can use AcDisplay. You can't tap to wake the phone, a custom kernel would be required for that.
2) Not by default.
3) I leave Assist, Alert, Audio effects, Help and Migrate disabled. I don't know about the rest, but those are safe.
4) Just don't install them. I don't know if you can disable the alerts though.
5) Hold the wifi button . Works with other settings as well, try it out.
6) Well, you could try using an app that replaces your lockscreen which has this feature, such as the Home Screen Lock of Smart App Lock. By default you can't though.

I assume you are using Lollipop. The wifi-icon and the SSID are two seperate buttons. Tapping the icon switches wifi on/off. Tap on the SSID and it will take you to settings

I've found that long-pressing the wifi button will toggle it on and off.

[Q] Google App Bypasses Lock Screen

Does anyone else who is using the swipe lock screen (no pattern/pin...) notice that if you performed a google search or had google now open, the power button skips the lockscreen? I have a feeling its not a bug but rather a feature but it annoys me.

Disable google assistant swipe up.

Got a Oppo Reno 5g and it just updated to C54 with May 2012 security update.
I have swipe up gestures enabled as it gives more screen area.
Problem with new update is when I swipe up bottom of screen to "go back" it also opens up Google assistant, turning off google assistant itself then swiping up, makes it annoyingly open up "your google assistant is ready to help you get things done. TURN ON"
Anyone got any suggestions apart from dont use swipe gestures.

After loads of searches sorted it.
For anyone else got Google assistant keep popping up, settings~default apps~digital assistant app~ choose none.

Question Vivo x70 pro issues

Firstly.
Instagram app turns into dark mode automatically by itself and nothing can be seen especially if u go to setting options. It happens most of the time. I have to restart everytime this happens. Does it happen to you all?
Secondly.
How to remove Google from home screen swipe left? There is no options in home setting to remove it.. if i force stop Google app then Google lens doesn't work. Kindly check attached picture for proof.
Thirdly.
Why is the number keypad for hidden folder and hide apps so small and way down below its very uncomfortable to type the password with such key pad.
If i have more i will add later... For now someone help me to resolve these problems.

power menu editor - add flashlight

is there an app that I could do this?
google asst is too slow turning flashlight on.

Try using "quick tap". You can turn it on and off by tapping the back of the phone twice.
Settings > system > gestures > quick tap > choose toggle flashlight
You just need to turn your screen on first, but it works on lock screen

unfortunately, I'm already using that to pause music, but maybe I'll have to change that.

I just remembered an app I used to use on my Pixel 5 that would probably work for what you want. I'm not sure if it works on Android 13 or not, but it should. I'll think I'll reinstall it as well. Probably on my 7pro too

Did you run the adb command? You can find it in "help" on the app

I did. Should I have restarted after?

I don't remember. Can't hurt

no joy. tried a few different methods. I'd say it no longer likes the P5 with A13.
