Hello everyone,
Although I was member of XDA I lost my previous account but I didn't have anything back then (not even introduction) so I am doing fresh start.
My name is Luka Mamukashvili, 17 y/o and I started learning programming in general 3 years ago. I prefer software development and since I am terminal cult follower I mainly develop TUI or CLI apps. FYI I don't hate GUI just prefer Text-based apps and things.
My favorite language is Python with types and I am currently learning C#.
My current objective is to copy knowledge from all of you

Hello,I'm a 16 boy that wants to start from point 0 to somewhere,as programming has always been my passion since young but I don't have the basic programming knowledge to get started.I have no actual experience with programming before as I'm a complete newbie, all I know is that there are tons of programming languages but the most popular are PHP,C,C++ and Java which I think is mostly used in mobile game development.I have already downloaded android studio and started watching/reading tutorials on the web.Other than that, any advice I could use?I was wondering if It is hard to develop a simple android game and If I could do It by just using the internet.

I'm crispycat. I've been interested in computers since I got a refurbished Acer laptop running Windows XP at the age of 4. At around 10 I had the desire to start developing software. I created my first website and started making some pretty useless apps in Visual Basic (yikes). Eventually I learned C# and more recently Java. As someone who is very passionate about digital privacy and cybersecurity, having full control over my phone is very important to me, and this forum has been very helpful.
Glad to see you here crispycat! Your background and contributions are appreciated!
Cheers
First of all, I want to thank all of you moderators, developers, modders and long term user out there to maintain this giant project.
I visited this site multiple times per year - for nearly a decade now, finally I made an account.
Long life to XDA, thanks again to all contributors.
Now to myself:
Mainly I code stuff for my company and worked for some bigger company (90+ people) in my country (as a software developer).
I played around and extended an emulator for a game, had the only public test server for it for a while, where people could fool around and I could learn and gain experience in programming and reverse engineering (2007+).
Am also fooling around in setting up my own linux distribution, there are already a few things finished, a few people are using it already, that and some other projects will be published some time soon or hopefully this year haha. A few things still need to be done to be able to do that.
Some of it also includes the pinephone and some other open devices.
I hope you all have a great time and thanks for reading this.
Greetings Archantium
Edit: edited some grammar mistakes and added some missing words
Welcome to XDA! Nice to have all your experience here on the Development forums! Enjoy

Hi,
My name is Vitali, my nickname across all the internet is vitalipom or vitali.pom.
I’m a developer of a special app for Android, which I’ve been developing for more than 8 year. More on that on a different thread.
I’m 31 years old, I’m holding a Bachelors degree from the Open University of Israel and I started my university studies 4 years prior graduating from school. I served 3 years in the army - there I finished my Bachelors and started developing an app in parallel, a keyboard with worlds first animation that behave totally different than any other animation or as I specify it - the way it supposed to be. The letters fly there off the keyboard into the screen; The app development has been motivating me in my army service and I finished my duty with multiple merits. Along with a written recommendation from a Colonel.
Besides being a developer I’m a very nice and friendly guy, I met lots of people via Email who wrote me while using my keyboard.
A week ago I finished fixing the bugs and started telling about it to people to make it visible and get 10000000000 downloads.
Feel free to stop by and drop me a line.
Many thanks,
Yours

TY Looking forwards getting into the community!
I am not a developer. At 76, my knowledge is outdated. In the past I have worked with software specification, test plan design, testing, and training on UNIX mainframe, also supporting other folk into using mainly Windows technology. If anyone can make a device fail, I can. It is a gift I have.
I still support a number of other older folk to keep their laptops/desktops working, and how to use new or upgraded software.
I am now trying to create a working, syncing environment for Windows, Android and iPhone involving migration of existing data and alternate apps if necessary. Getting ready to use K9 which will be the android and iPhone email app for Mozilla Thunderbird is what has brought me to this forum. That will be my first post asking for help.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Welcome aboard XDA and enjoy your journey around the forums!
