Hello. My redmi 9 was bricked so i used SP flash tool to repair IT. I used Download Only but my imei was gone. I used Eng rom and Modem META to restore IT. But when i restored two imeis phone was restarting on miui logo and miui recovery was showing
NV DATA is corrupted. So i reflashed Eng rom and using modem META i only wrote imei 2. Phone was working normally but my Wifi signal was very bad and my phone waz barely connecting to LTE/3G. I can make calls and send sms. Someone know what happened? I had nvram nvdata and imei backup on my sd card but IT got broken and i had to format IT. Please help this is very annoying and sorry for bad english.

After going through various threads in XDA, I have come to one big conclusion. There is no way we can restore IMEI on Ace since we cannot mount efs partition. I wish I'd be wrong. This problem is only fixable at Service Centre's
Hi, after flash a rom, my mi3 doesn't detect baseband and my imei invalid. I tried to flash miui using fastboot (clear cache, data, everything using MI Recovery. Flashed dev global, stable and local roms) but still not fixed. I also tried using QPST but the memory dump is too small so I stopped. Anyone knows how to fix this? Thanks
Do you have a backup ROM using CWM? Because I had this problem before but it was fixed by restoring my previous CWM back up.
Have you seen the thread on MIUI.com about fixing IMEI on Mi3?

Ty for reply. I have done that many times but it seems that my nvram is corrupted. I dont know how but all the settings and configurations are empty including imei number. I flashed more than 10 times stock rom with different method and my baseband is back. Still the imei is missing. Then, I try to fix the imei by looking at the nvram memory dump. I injected my old imei (from mi3 service card) then the imei is back. Somehow, still no services.
I think that my nvram is badly corrupted due to random error in flashing. This is my first time having this issue because other phone (Sony Xperia) i have can easily fixed by flashing the stock rom. If only I have the hex file to compare. By the way, the memory dump is about 150kb. Too small isn't it?
Hmmm. . . . . Seems you need a really hard flash on that. You'll need to go to a service center for that.
try wiping cache data and then flash rom.
Just as in title, I need backup of nvram from doogee x5pro device. I flashed cyanogen beta rom with twrp, but then couldn't go to recovery to flash google apps. I flashed back stock rom by unlocking OEM, it formatted nvram partition which backup I didn't have. Now i have flashed cyanogenmod rom but no imei. Tried to restore by android apps, engineer mode and sn write station etc. I just read i can change it by flashing backup and just write my own imei instead of imei in backup. I did one more bad thing, I used some guy imei.exe tool which broke my imei completely. Before my phone read sim cards but I couldn't call, send sms etc. Now it removed my baseband number I think. So... I just need nvram.bin from doogee x5pro to try rewrite it back with MTK droid tools.
Refresh, I'm just waiting for this nvram here and dying cuz can't use my phone.
Maybe too late, but for people searching for a solution.
If your baseband is OK, you can write your imei just typing on dialer *#8688#* It saved my ass
In case you have a totally corrupted nvram, try to restore this one with twrp.

After that, change the imei to your own (mine is fake)

imei went to zeros . was fixed online with a new imei. Since then i updated rom and have no signal. I'd like my original imei back or at least fixed again. Had enough of chasing fake apps with passwords and viruses. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

[GUIDE] Not registered on network fix - EFS failed to mount - NO IMEI or Zero IMEI
Today i got an issue for my N960F after flashing a custom ROM. I'm not sure till now what've gone wrong, but after rebooting my device i faced an issue that my SIM card can not register on network. Cellular network signal is full, but can not...

If you have TWRP and a backup you have done via TWRP just do a Restore in TWRP but only restore the EFS - ODM and ODM Image partitions only. That will restore your IMEI.
My note 9 had all zeroes and I could not use it for over 9 months (purchased a replacement). Found an old TWRP backup while cleaning out my PC and this fixed it straight away.
Always do a TWRP backup and ensure you keep a copy of it off your phone.
I lost my baseband and IMEI after flashing Redmi Note 11R from China Stable to EEA Stable, so I follow guides on Internet and tried to reflash it with SP Flash Tool. I use "Format All+Download" but after that, I can't boot into system but always fall into MIUI recovery 5.0 with "NV data is corrupted" message.
Then I tried to use ModemMETA, but when I press write button, I always got operation timeout error, so I think maybe those partition were damaged.
Will flashing a new image fix issues?
I can give you that files, but it won't help. If you delete nvram - than your phone will not call any more, how to fix that - only on service firmware, but when you upgrade it to miui, no phone calls. I have the same phone, same problem, and no solution. Maybe in some month

Thanks for your helping, now it can at least boot into MIUI, not recovery. But the problem is ModemMETA tool now stuck at "Connect to MD" with good nvram files. Does that means I can only use the tool with corrupted nv data? That's weird. Also, I still getting unknown baseband and IMEI with China ROM, what version and region was your MIUI when you backup those files?
I have India, but it won't help you. If you want to recover your phone, you need to flash ENG rom(Format + Download) to use Meta Modem, then write only second IMEI. I have ENG rom if you want https://disk.yandex.ru/d/HFA-nWmHW8x1Kw
But then when I come from ENG to Stock - my baseband lock, phone no detect simcard. If I flash another modem, phone see simcard on stock, but no calls. I think it's becouse of baseband from nvram, nvdata + md1img that can't be applied on new phone with out change of Imei in that files, Meta Modet can't change IMEI in that files, it can only work on empy nvram, nvdata but with that files my phone don't calls.
So you need to flash stock and use special soft life Unlocktool to repair IMEI, I will pay some guy to fix my problem becouse I don't have solution for that. I spen about week on that problem in Internet - there is no solutions yet for that mode, Redmi Note 11E, 11R, 10 5G (light).
