Question Bootloop after using DSU Loader - OPPO Find X3 Pro

My Find X3 Pro(au) bootlooped when using the DSU loader. How can I fix this? I have tried various button combinations and none seem to work (The English may be strange due to the use of a translator.)

can help you to format the phone

Did you unlock the bootloader? If it is not unlocked, then you can only pay someone to use 9008 to restore it.

[Q] Unlocked & rooted, should bootloader remain unlocked?

So I unlocked(htcdev) and rooted(twrp) and now I wounder if I should re-lock for security? I read that the boot-loader could have an authorized os list. Since both the system and recovery are os's would a re-lock put twrp out of control?
Thanks
I'd like to know this also. Fortunately relocking seems to be easy.

Never relock with custom roms or custom recovery still installed on your phone, this will result in bootloop.
Only way to stop this bootloop will be to unlock again but unlocking the bootloader require the stock recovery to be installed.
So with custom recovery installed and bootloader relocked = bootloop = can't unlock again. You'll have to reflash the whole firmware in ruu mode to get back the stock recovery over the custom one and then you'll be able to re-unlock to stop the bootloop.
So short answer, don't relock when not 100% stock
Ich, thanks! Glad I asked first instead of taking the chance..

You can't. When the status is no, only Sony or the original carrier can unlock the bootloader and they won't do it. Sorry.

SIM unlock can be done. Bootloader? No. Let me warn you: you will soft brick (or worse) your device if you try UB stuff on it. I repeat: there is no software way to unlock a bootloader if the status is "allowed: No". Sorry.

i have got the unlock code from OFFICAL. i think the only problem is how to going to the FASTBOOT to unlock
Fastboot key cannot work now. press Fastboot key (Volume up )at the same time to connect the other end of the USB-cable.
All buttons work fine in system.
Are there other ways to enter fastboot?

No. Like I've been saying: if the status is "allowed: no" it can't be done. You can't enter fastboot because it probably was disabled by your vendor. It has nothing to do with the keys.

Frp locked

I cant unlock frp as It is grayed out the option of oem unlocking in the dev options

If that dosent work you can also follow the below procedure.
Relock your bootloader. Your phone will factory reset and boot. Then head to developer options and you will see oem unlock is not greyed out. Then just enable oem unlocking and unlock the bootloader. When you boot up again you will see that oem is greyed out but it'll be enabled. So you'll have unlocked fastboot and unlocked frp now.

I haven't gone that far. I've unlocked and then relocked.
Everything fine. I believe it's completely safe if you have complete stock firmware installed ie, stock rom, stock recovery, stock Kernal and all that stuff. Otherwise you'll end up in a loop. Guess I forgot that part sorry.
So I know this is someone else's thread but can you tell me if I relocked bootloader will the service center be able to know I'd unlocked before? I don't have the phone unlocked warning at boot. Just curious.

Some if not all bootloaders nowadays are not "locked" by the manufacturer using a code but are usually "locked" by employing a digital signature and/or a CID (carrier Id) hard coded into the OS. When we "unlock" a bootloader with a code we are simply using a routine written into the loader by the manufacturer to now ignore signatures and/or CIDs of the OS and this allows us to flash whatever we wish.
Sometimes upon unlocking using a code the DS/CID is erased/altered and cannot be retrieved, so not a good idea to relock an altered bootloader.
At least, that is my understanding of it.

That's too bad. Means we won't get back our waranty if we relock it ?. So thanks for the heads up . I'll be careful while unlocking it again (if ever).?

Not necessarily, I doubt if most service centres would bother delving that deep, but maybe some would.
I don't know...........

Thanks for your quick reply but do you know any way to get back CID/DS
No, but I haven't delved that deeply into Huaweis bootloaders, but I NEVER attempt to re-lock them.

But when you relock the unlock code no longer works, is that correct?
Yes due to FRP, some people say they have had success. I think best way around it is to use DC Phoenix and use the unbricking method, they do have frp removal but I haven't tried it yet

Thx. I try to figure out what could trigger frp lock. I guess it was factory reset from recovery level.
Theoretically factory reset from settings should remove it.

Question System has been destroyed & bootloader locked because of DSU Loader installing

Hi Guys
Need your assistance, its a complete mess here.
I found android 14 pre releases in developer options -> DSU Loader -> Installed GSM+ARM64. Thought it will install android 14 pre release (Saw in one of youtube video -
).
Post restart phone it went to system has been destoryed.
1. OEM unlock option was not checked (Bootloader locked)
2. Only booting in fastboot mode.
3. Flashing through EDL/ Flash Auth not working.
I can only think of unlocking bootloader may fix this issue but problem is bootloader is locked. Can't unlock it because oem unlock is not enabled under developer options.
Please help me bypass OEM unlock check so that I can unlock bootloader & probably flashing TWRP or Orange recovery will fix the problem
Thank you
This tutorial is for those who have the bootloader unlocked (see the video at 3 minutes 38, the padlock is open).
What did you want to do?
The phone is bricked, nothing to do with the locked bootloader, see a Xiaomi repair center.
Hi
I missed that it is for unlocked bootloader.
So if bootloader is locked, it should not update the partitions & if so it should roll back to original miui if it fails.
But instead it bricked my phone.
So if someone can help me unlock bootloader I can try flashing recovery & then rom.
Or suggest better option. service center people asked to replace motherboard.
hi!
If there is any way to fix it, unfortunately it is paid.

It is imperative to unlock the bootloader with a xiaomi account where unlocking is authorized and associated with your smartphone. Without it, not worth it...
So unlock the bootloader and apply one of those countless FAQs that you'll find on XDA or youtube.
For me, settled in an hour.
Good luck,
